SOUTH
Located about a 4-5 minute walk northwest from Exit 2 of Nippombashi Station on the Osaka Metro. Upon entering the restaurant, there are 7 counter seats on the 1st floor and additional seating on the 2nd floor. Let's start with a highball toast at the corner. We had the Chef Namikaze's sushi course. The appetizers included homemade pickled ginger and four kinds of side dishes: simmered Chinese cabbage, shimeji mushrooms, and bamboo shoots, stir-fried shrimp and squid, potato salad, and mini hamburgers. The Chef's sushi course consisted of 8 pieces: sea bream, tuna, salmon, tamago, shrimp, amberjack, and octopus. There are three types of soy sauce to accompany the sushi: yuzu pepper soy sauce, homemade dashi soy sauce, and light soy sauce. We also had red miso soup and chawanmushi. Additional sushi (all-you-can-eat for 1 hour) included: conger eel, seared tuna, scallop, fresh mackerel, live shrimp, gunkan shellfish, eel, Spanish mackerel, tuna mayo gunkan, kaiware hamachi, shime saba, mentaiko, tobiko mini hand rolls, ikura, uni, flounder, tuna toro. We also enjoyed chu-hai with lime and local sake Tateshina. As the time approached, we finished with three pieces of negi and natto gunkan. Finally, we relaxed with green tea and vanilla ice cream after the meal. The variety of sushi dishes left us satisfied and full. We look forward to visiting again. Thank you for the delicious meal.
