At "Sushi Restaurant Tomo" in Osaka Higashi-Shinsaibashi, they offer an all-you-can-eat course of authentic Edomae sushi. Located just a 2-minute walk north from Aioibashi where the main store of Kanryu Ramen in Dotonbori is located. You can choose from two courses, the 3,000 yen "Namikaze" and the 5,000 yen "Oonami". Both courses include homemade pickled ginger, four kinds of side dishes, and 8 pieces of chef's choice nigiri sushi followed by unlimited additional nigiri sushi for one hour. Even though I chose the 3,000 yen course, the sushi was luxurious with items like tuna toro and eel. The rice was small and easy to eat, and the ingredients were fresh. It may be hard to believe that you can enjoy this quality of sushi in an all-you-can-eat setting, but it's true! The friendly chef's jokes added to the enjoyable experience. I was completely satisfied.

Located in a quiet alley in Tamaya-cho, Sushi Restaurant Tomo offers a 1-hour all-you-can-eat sushi course for 3000 yen and a 5000 yen course. Drink orders are required, but you can enjoy a satisfying amount of sushi. The difference between the 3000 yen and 5000 yen courses is that the latter allows you to order up to 10 premium sushi pieces, while the former only allows one piece per order. You will be served with five appetizers as starters, followed by a chef's selection of 6 pieces of sushi. Then, you can write down your favorite sushi toppings on a piece of paper for the chef to prepare. Along the way, you will also be served with red miso soup and chawanmushi, and for dessert, you will get a sweet treat. The sushi is creatively made with various toppings, making it a fun dining experience at a reasonable price.

I made a reservation for Saturday at 2:30 PM and visited the restaurant! I ordered the Oonami course for 5,000 yen. First, four side dishes and a handmade pickled ginger in a tiered box were served promptly. The dish with a taste similar to vinegar pork with cartilage was delicious. After that, 8 pieces of sushi (they ask about dislikes or allergies) were served, and once finished, the all-you-can-eat started. I tried various items (later counted 36 pieces), but the fatty tuna, eel, and botan shrimp were especially delicious. In addition, it came with miso soup and chawanmushi, and the cost performance at this price point is excellent. Thank you for the delicious meal.

I went to "Sushi Tomo" with my colleagues for lunch to eat sushi to my heart's content! We ordered the 3,800 yen full stomach set. Before the all-you-can-eat sushi, they served us a simmered dish, a plate of potato salad, Neapolitan pasta, pork belly cutlet with tartar sauce, and 2 pieces of meat-wrapped sushi. To be honest, my initial impression was that it was too cheap. The quality of this plate and simmered dish is definitely not worth 800 yen. Especially the tartar and potato salad were exquisite. The sushi was also enjoyable. Here is what we ate: - Sea bream - Tsubugai (whelk) - Shime saba (marinated mackerel) - Uni tamago (sea urchin and egg) - Sayori (halfbeak) - Anago (conger eel) - Isaki (grunt fish) - Marinated tuna - Green onion - Squid with salt koji - Seared Spanish mackerel - Scallop - Simmered shiitake mushroom - Fugu skin with ponzu sauce I forgot to take photos of the squid with salt koji, Spanish mackerel, and scallop. The rice was on the smaller side, what you might call "shari koma," but it was just the right size. Every piece of sushi was delicious, but the standout was the marinated tuna. The tuna, marinated thoroughly, retained the original flavor and aroma of tuna, blending perfectly with the rice. It was so delicious. Seriously. Another surprising element was the soy sauce and pickled ginger. They offered "homemade dashi soy sauce," "yuzu pepper soy sauce," and "light soy sauce" but every time I opened the homemade dashi soy sauce container, the aroma of dashi was so appetizing. Thanks to that, the sushi tasted twice as good. The pickled ginger was soaked all the way through in sweet vinegar with no spiciness at all. This was excellent pickled ginger. Delicious. If the pickled ginger was this good, I should have ordered more... In between, we had chawanmushi and red miso soup. And to finish, ice cream was included in the 3,800 yen price. It's a one-drink system, so the final bill will be more than this, but you can enjoy all-you-can-eat sushi at the counter for less than 5,000 yen, which is incredibly affordable. It's a very famous restaurant, so reservations are essential. It may be difficult to get a reservation, but they accept reservations by phone or DM well in advance, so please make a reservation and go try it out!!

We found this restaurant on Instagram and visited with my junior colleague. It seems like many customers come here after seeing it on Instagram. We ordered the 3,000 yen course and each had about 3 beers and highballs, totaling over 10,000 yen. It was advertised as all-you-can-eat sushi, but they stopped taking orders halfway through. It seemed like the chef had a break-even point to consider. The variety of sushi was good, but each piece was small and seemed to appeal more to women. If you visit during the day without alcohol, it seems like a good value. The chef is talkative and joined in our conversation, which was fun but left my colleague feeling a bit left out.

The initial sushi selection was predetermined, but afterwards you could choose your own. One drink is required to be ordered. The owner may have been in a bad mood due to arriving late for the reservation, as their attitude was quite obvious. We chose the most expensive course, but we feel that going to a conveyor belt sushi restaurant would be more cost-effective.

My companion was late for the reservation, so we had to order when they arrived. The chef asked about our preferences before making the sushi, which was delicious. The staff was lovely, and the sushi, chawanmushi, and miso soup were all very tasty. I will definitely go back again.

Reservation method, etc. ① Check the available time by looking at the Instagram story of Sushi Restaurant Tomo. ② Complete the reservation by sending the number of people via DM. * The all-you-can-eat sushi is limited to 1 hour for ¥3000 + one drink system. [Impressions] Located between Namba and Nipponbashi, Sushi Restaurant Tomo. This restaurant used to be extremely popular, with reservations booked solid for a whole month at one point. The reason for this popularity is that you can eat all the sushi you want for only ¥3000. When you include the one-time order items, there are 50 different types of sushi available. According to the staff, on average, customers can eat around 20-30 pieces, so if you eat more than that, the price per piece drops below ¥100, which is even better than a conveyor belt sushi restaurant. In addition to this, you also get side dishes like red miso soup and chawanmushi, making this a must-visit restaurant. First, a set of side dishes and 8 pieces of sushi arrive, and then the all-you-can-eat begins. The initial assortment, as you can see from the photos, is not just to fill you up, but to let you taste the delicious sushi first. The side dishes also include seasonal firefly squid, giving a sense of the season. There are also premium items that you can only order one piece of, such as salmon roe, sea urchin, eel, flounder, and scallops, making you feel like you've already gotten your money's worth. Of course, the regular all-you-can-eat menu includes thick pieces like yellowtail. There are also plenty of green onions, which are hard to order unless it's all-you-can-eat, so you can even order 5 pieces of green onion salmon. I was so busy eating that I ended up focusing more on eating than taking photos, but the marinated tuna was also delicious, with a rich and chewy texture. I finished 30 pieces in no time, leaving plenty of time to spare. I usually get full after about 15 pieces, but... all-you-can-eat is truly amazing. Sushi Restaurant Tomo is a must-visit restaurant for a satisfying experience of non-rotating sushi all-you-can-eat. Thank you for the meal!

I had a bit of trouble finding the alley where the restaurant was located, but I finally arrived at the place I always saw on Instagram. The meal started with a variety of appetizers served in a tiered box, followed by the usual sushi. After that, you could write down your favorite sushi choices and ask the chef for them. It was a luxurious experience to eat all-you-can-eat sushi (with some restrictions on certain items) across the counter, which sushi lovers would find irresistible. If you requested smaller rice portions, the chef would accommodate, but the sushi pieces would also become smaller, so I switched to regular-sized ones later on. The eel sushi was particularly noteworthy. It's not something you see often in the Kanto region outside of conveyor belt sushi restaurants, but it's quite common in Kansai. The eel had a crispy skin and a thick, melt-in-your-mouth texture. I couldn't help but go back for more. The kind demeanor of the chef created a warm atmosphere in the restaurant, making it very comfortable to dine in. The chef's adept use of social media would surely make everyone want to visit the place.

I had the Omakase course for 5,000 yen at a sushi restaurant with all-you-can-eat option. First, a box of small dishes was served with pickled ginger, which I saved to enjoy later with the sushi. After the recommended 6 pieces, you can choose your favorite sushi from the menu. The course also includes red miso soup and steamed egg custard. You can write down your sushi selections on paper and order. If you ask for recommendations, the owner will suggest the best items of the day. Drinks are not included in the price. Dessert of ice cream is also included after the meal. The owner's stories were interesting, the food was delicious, and I left feeling very satisfied and full.

The person in charge of SNS is really good at promoting! I was convinced and made a reservation to go. There was a young girl and a guy filming a video. I forgot to take a photo because I was too busy eating what I ordered. I was worried about the chef's hand as he kept making sushi non-stop, and even though it was a 3000 yen all-you-can-eat, I felt bad and left some room in my stomach before leaving. The chef was super friendly and the young girl was easy to talk to, making the atmosphere very comfortable. We talked a lot haha. Well, it was delicious. I dragged my partner who doesn't like all-you-can-eat, but they were satisfied. The only thing we both agreed on was that it was delicious, and we wished the eel was a bit bigger~~~ Chef~~~!

Sushi all-you-can-eat for 60 minutes for ¥3000 + one drink order system. I made a reservation for 16:30 on the weekend and visited the restaurant. There were 2 groups of customers before us. The seating time for the sushi all-you-can-eat is a total of 90 minutes including appetizers and desserts. The appetizers served in a bento box came first. Then we had an omakase set of 8 pieces of sushi, and we could also make additional orders by writing them on paper. There was no specific limit on the number of orders, so we could order freely. We sat at the counter, so the chef talked to us while making the sushi. The menu included various toppings such as pickles, mayonnaise, cheese, and seared options, so we had a lot of fun trying different combinations. It was a unique experience that you can't find at a regular conveyor belt sushi restaurant. I want to go back again! It was so delicious that I probably ate around 60 pieces of sushi, haha.

Sushi restaurant "Sushidokoro Tomo" located in a back alley in Nishi-Shinsaibashi, Chuo-ku, Osaka, is famous for its all-you-can-eat sushi course where the chef prepares the sushi. It opened in June 2020. The all-you-can-eat sushi course starts from 3000 yen (tax included). Since there is only one chef, there is a limit to the number of servings based on the orders at that time, but I was able to eat about 50 pieces in total. This is a fantastic restaurant that lives up to its popularity. Thank you for the meal! Read more details here: https://menma825.com/sushidokoro-tomo/

A certain YouTuber visited this place, so I immediately made a reservation on Instagram and visited the restaurant for the all-you-can-eat sushi for 3000 yen. Reservations are required. The restaurant is located in between alleyways. There are only counter seats available. Social distancing is in place so we could sit comfortably. First, a variety of small dishes in a bento box were served as appetizers, and they were all delicious. Then, the first sushi was served and it was gone in no time. From then on, you can order your favorite sushi. Uni, ikura, and toro are limited to one piece per person. The sushi made by the chef in front of you is truly delicious. There was another group of customers, so it might be more efficient to order all at once. We also had chawanmushi halfway through. Finally, dessert sherbet is included. Occasionally, you can enjoy chatting with the chef. I left the restaurant feeling full and satisfied. I'm already looking forward to trying the 5000 yen course next time.

It's a well-known but somewhat hidden gem of a place due to its location. The first floor has a counter where they make sushi right in front of you, while the second floor has tatami seating. It's a shame I couldn't talk to the head chef, but the second floor was relaxing. Just be careful of the narrow, steep stairs. The lineup of sushi feels like an all-you-can-eat course, and not only will you get full, but you won't get tired of it. The dashi for the chawanmushi was also gentle. There's no end to the variety of sushi toppings, but for 3000 yen (with a drink order required), I thought this all-you-can-eat sushi had great value!

Located about a 4-5 minute walk northwest from Exit 2 of Nippombashi Station on the Osaka Metro. Upon entering the restaurant, there are 7 counter seats on the 1st floor and additional seating on the 2nd floor. Let's start with a highball toast at the corner. We had the Chef Namikaze's sushi course. The appetizers included homemade pickled ginger and four kinds of side dishes: simmered Chinese cabbage, shimeji mushrooms, and bamboo shoots, stir-fried shrimp and squid, potato salad, and mini hamburgers. The Chef's sushi course consisted of 8 pieces: sea bream, tuna, salmon, tamago, shrimp, amberjack, and octopus. There are three types of soy sauce to accompany the sushi: yuzu pepper soy sauce, homemade dashi soy sauce, and light soy sauce. We also had red miso soup and chawanmushi. Additional sushi (all-you-can-eat for 1 hour) included: conger eel, seared tuna, scallop, fresh mackerel, live shrimp, gunkan shellfish, eel, Spanish mackerel, tuna mayo gunkan, kaiware hamachi, shime saba, mentaiko, tobiko mini hand rolls, ikura, uni, flounder, tuna toro. We also enjoyed chu-hai with lime and local sake Tateshina. As the time approached, we finished with three pieces of negi and natto gunkan. Finally, we relaxed with green tea and vanilla ice cream after the meal. The variety of sushi dishes left us satisfied and full. We look forward to visiting again. Thank you for the delicious meal.
