I made a reservation to meet my wine-loving best friend after a year. It was my first visit to this restaurant. I was worried if it would be crowded in the middle of Obon, but I was delighted to hear that the restaurant was open! It was quietly located on the second floor. The menu was only on one sheet of paper, but everything looked delicious. I loved the beet and soft-boiled egg mayonnaise salad as an appetizer. It was a simple combination, but the sweetness of the beets, the softness of the egg, and the mayonnaise were exquisite. The squid and daikon fennel stew was also prepared to pair well with wine. The fish was sautéed saury. The skin was crispy and the flesh was juicy, it was also excellent. I also had the liver and heart confit with red wine. We also tried the popular black sesame and squid ink knife-cut noodles. Each dish was served with a recommended wine, and I was very satisfied. I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the delicious meal.

I finally visited Saburami, a place I've been wanting to go for a while. They serve a variety of wines that are all delicious, making it easy to keep drinking endlessly. The food pairs perfectly with the wine, and I strongly feel like I want to visit again as my first stop next time! It seems they open at 3 pm, so going early is also a good idea.

I visited a natural wine bar near Higobashi around 3 PM for some daytime drinking. It's run by two women and has a really nice atmosphere. The food is delicious and the natural wine is great. It quickly got full on the day I went, so making a reservation might be necessary.

Highly recommended by me! - Chicken liver and heart confit ¥800 - Fried horse mackerel with tartar sauce ¥1200 - Shrimp doria ¥1400 Visited a bar in Hommachi for a second round of drinks, but got rejected. It's a very adult-like hidden wine bar. Lately, I feel like I've been drinking wine more often. The shrimp doria and fried horse mackerel were delicious. As someone who usually goes to cheap bars, I found this place a bit pricey, but the taste is definitely there. Wine lovers should definitely check it out! A wine bar that is open from 15:00, serving only one type of beer and natural wine. It is a quiet and chic place where wine lovers can enjoy a leisurely time. They are open on Sundays too, which is convenient. On this day, we had a cheese platter, short pasta with saury paste (forgot to take a photo), open omelette, and autumn salmon fry, paired with a recommended wine. It was great. It's nice that the menu changes with the seasons. I will definitely go again! Thank you for the meal.

Around 4:30 pm, after finishing my errands, I took a leisurely stroll around the area as usual. I entered a small restaurant where two women were working efficiently behind the counter. Despite the small space, their cool and attentive service created a perfect distance that made me feel comfortable. I ordered a glass of bubbly and some fruit kimchi for a light snack. The bubbly was a refreshing dry type, and the fruit kimchi, with pineapple and pear, was delicious. They paired perfectly together! For my second glass, I ordered a white wine that I really enjoyed, and it lifted my spirits. I spent a relaxing hour and a half in this wonderful atmosphere, enjoying the delicious wine and snacks. A shop quietly located on the second floor of a building on the north side of Hanazono Park. I felt a little nervous opening the door, but once inside, there was a warm atmosphere with a wooden counter and a round table. The shop is run by two women. I wanted to drink wine, but started with beer first. It was a craft beer from Wakayama with a citrus-like flavor, very tasty. The dishes were all enticing. I discovered the deliciousness of beets in the egg and beet salad. The heart and liver confit was also full of flavor. The cold appetizer platter had just the right amount of runniness in the eggs and the paste-like beans were also delicious. I switched to wine halfway through, which went well with the food. The fried chicken was surprisingly good with a nice ginger flavor. The open omelette with eggplant looked lovely and tasted great, with the soft eggplant and the saltiness of the omelette. We had a total of three glasses of wine and the bill came to just over 14,000 yen for two people.

The restaurant has about 6-7 seats at the counter and a few tables, with many regular customers. [Ordered dishes] - Assorted chilled appetizers - Beet and soft-boiled egg mayonnaise salad - Roast duck breast - Taco risotto The wine recommended by the staff was delicious, and I would love to go back to eat there again.

This place is perfect for a daytime drink. There is a counter seat and one table. It was very hot that day so I ordered a bottle of sparkling wine. I also ordered a salad and some fried chicken. The fried chicken had a lot of ginger flavor, and the salad was a nice touch with the egg. Thank you for the meal!

I heard about this restaurant from a colleague at work who is also a drinking buddy. It's a place we visited a few years ago with another friend. It's a restaurant in the vicinity of Karahori Shotengai, run by the same staff we met back then. A few months later, I decided to invite a different friend to come along. I was curious to see if they would remember me. As it turns out, they didn't remember me at all (≧▽≦) Well, I guess that's how it goes. It was only two visits a few years ago, so unless there was something really memorable, it's unlikely to stick in their memory. The first drink was a beer, a craft beer from Wakayama called Voyager Brewing IPA. It was bitter with a floral hop aroma, very delicious beer. It reminded me of Yoho Brewing's "Indo no Aooni." My friend joined us and we started with wine while eating. This is a wine bar after all. We had a cold appetizer platter with dried squid and bamboo shoots simmered in liver and heart confit, among others. We also had a light red wine, Zechinger Blaufrankisch 2020, which had a cranberry scent with a slight spiciness. It paired well with the dishes we ordered that day. We also had a spinach open omelette that looked heavy but was surprisingly light and delicious. The olive oil really brought out the flavor. We finished with a simple tomato sauce spaghetti that had a perfect balance of sweetness, acidity, and umami, with al dente noodles. The restaurant is small, with a few counter seats and one round table. It's just the right size for a comfortable dining experience. I'm sure it would be even more enjoyable if we became regulars. Next time, I'll bring a friend who knows the owner. Thank you for the meal.

I was drawn to this place by the atmosphere of the building and bamboo as I passed by, and I have been wanting to come back for a while, how many years have passed? (There were times when they were not open due to the pandemic). I finally returned after a long time. The companion who arrived first selected the "Chicken Liver and Heart Confit" which greeted me. It had a rich and creamy texture, very satisfying. A dish that makes your heart feel at ease. When I asked for a red wine that goes well with it, the cool and natural female owner said, "We already have it paired, the wine is already decided." Ah, I see, it's called pairing. She must be a sommelier, amazing. The female owner seems to be quite a remarkable person known to some, and she seems to have quite a few fans. That's probably why the not-so-large restaurant is almost full in no time. There seem to be more regular customers than when I visited a few years ago. I wanted to try the "Spinach Open Omelette(?)" that I had before, it was light but had a delicious sautéed spinach flavor with the sweetness of the leaves. I wanted to eat the "Adult's Napolitan" that I was impressed with last time, but it wasn't on the menu today. They said they couldn't make it because they didn't have the ingredients. What a shame. "This one is the most delicious," said the owner, so I went with the simple "Tomato Sauce Spaghetti." They served it beautifully, divided into two portions. The firmness of the noodles was perfect, and the slightly thicker thickness was just right. This tomato sauce must be made from whole tomatoes, it's irresistibly rich. Maybe there were also semi-dried tomatoes in it? It had a nice acidity, a pasta that screams "Tomato!" What is a simple tomato? You'll understand once you taste it. It doesn't add anything, doesn't take anything away. This restaurant must have a welcoming atmosphere where customers are treated like royalty by the owner. Customers simply decide on a few things they want to eat and drink good wine without thinking about anything. It seems you have to go about 10 times before they remember your face or name. The cool female owner laughs shyly. She's not good at it, she says. Her coolness and laid-back attitude are also part of this restaurant's charm. Price is around 5000 yen per person.

The Katsuokatsu with tartar sauce goes surprisingly well with pickled ginger. The confit of heart and liver is perfectly cooked and moist. The sardine and onion tart with plum is delicious. The beet and boiled egg salad is served with homemade mayonnaise. The wine was served according to the dishes, with sparkling, red, white, and orange wine. I ended up getting drunk as expected, but it was a wonderful time that I don't regret. ✨

Natural wine shop. This year's new area is "Higo Bridge". I was told about this place by a natural wine lover when I attended an event at ecru, a natural wine bar & cafe in Fukuoka. They recommended wines that perfectly matched the dishes based on my preferences, and the choices were excellent. The food was delicious as well, and I ended up drinking 5 glasses instead of the planned 2. I also personally love the calm atmosphere of the shop.

On a leisurely afternoon during the holiday, near the vicinity of Jyoko Park, there is a stylish wine shop run by two women called "Saborami." When I visited, the tables were bustling with female customers of the Showa era, and even at the counter, women were enjoying their wine. There was not much room for older gentlemen, but I gathered my courage and ventured in. The owner, who is said to be a sommelier with dishes like "takoriki" and "butadama," has a reputation for being a three-time winner of the Wine of the Wind award. I enjoyed a glass of bubbly with a gentle taste, paired with the "Fruit Kimchi" from Ryuo Shoten. The combination of fruit and kimchi was surprisingly good. The white wine was Vin De France Mis En Bouteille par..., with a strong grape flavor. The red wine was Tenuta La Favola Terre Siciliane, a rich and mellow wine from Sicily. Although the cost performance may be a bit low, the cozy atmosphere and good vibes make it a great place to visit, especially for couples. It was delicious, thank you.

Hidden wine bar near Hirakata Park where adults gather. The atmosphere of the shop is very cozy. They don't have a wine menu, instead they choose wines to pair with the food. Recommended dishes include beet and soft-boiled egg mayonnaise salad, chicken liver confit, fried chicken, parsley Genovese-style sauce, 3 types of cheese, and roasted Ehime baby pig. They provide wines that exceed expectations and perfectly complement the dishes. The liver confit is especially delicious. The last white wine, if it were up to me, I would deliberately name it "Grape" to make it feel like you're drinking fresh grapes.

I can't stress enough how convenient it is for those who only go out during the day. The store is on the second floor, and I hesitated a bit because although there was a sign at the entrance on the first floor, it wasn't very noticeable, but I gathered my courage and went in. There was no window on the landing on the second floor, just a regular door like in a normal house. Another hurdle... I timidly opened the door and... "Welcome." A kind female staff greeted me. The interior has an L-shaped counter and one table seat at the back. It's small, but there's a clean air flow. I was guided to the counter and had two glasses of white wine and a salad. The first glass was slightly sweet and easy to drink, while the second had a good acidity, and both were very delicious. They paired well with the salad, and I finished them quickly. This area is close to Kita-Shinchi, and it's now a definite route for my daytime outings. Thank you for the meal.

This is a cozy wine bar with a 10-seat counter, run by two women. The atmosphere is relaxed and chic, like a sophisticated wine bar, without any tension. Even if you go alone, the staff and regular customers will chat with you. Since it was our fourth stop of the night, we only had wine without any food, but the snacks all looked delicious! They even offered to serve some items in half portions, which was a nice touch. We enjoyed a bottle of wine for almost three hours, and for some reason, a regular customer gave us a meat bun. I definitely want to visit this place again.
