Newly opened in Tamagawa, Minami-ku, Fukuoka City, Dashiya Yokochō Maeda... Even though I visited near closing time, they warmly welcomed me with overwhelming gratitude. The store is designed like a renovated home, with a sign and curtain hanging down, giving it a feel of a private residence. The entrance feels like the front door of a house. It seems to be run by a husband and wife. During lunchtime, they offer Tamagawa Chanpon, which is an arrangement of a hot pot broth. As a fan of Chanpon, I had to visit right away. By the way, it seems that pure Chanpon is only served during lunchtime. The lunch menu includes only Tamagawa Chanpon for 1,000 yen, and onigiri for 100 yen. The Tamagawa Chanpon has a soup base of hot pot broth, which is delicious and carefully made. The ingredients include pork, shrimp, squid, and tsukune, with neatly cut green onions adding color and appetite appeal. The tsukune is handmade and delicious. There are no processed meat products, giving a sense of homemade cooking. The combination with the Chanpon noodles is also delicious. The completion of the hot pot broth soup is excellent. I finished every drop of the soup and I highly recommend enjoying every bit of it. Some may say that 1,000 yen for Chanpon is expensive, but considering the high quality of the soup and the richness of the ingredients, it is quite reasonable. As a service, I also received almond jelly on my way out, which was also delicious. I hope this restaurant continues to thrive. If you love Chanpon, this is a place you must visit. There is also a fish tank in the store, so you can enjoy fresh sashimi and other specialty dishes. If you are interested, please visit. Reservations are essential for dinner as there are not many seats available.
