Cheap and delicious izakaya! "Hanazakari" in Hakata Station South. "Hanazakari" in Hakata Station South is within walking distance from my home. It's located in an office district, but they are open even on Sundays, which is great. They have a special set for 1000 yen if you enter by 19:00, which includes a drink and 3 side dishes like bamboo shoot salad and sittaka clams. You can also choose 2 items from 14 options, so I chose egg omelette and horse mackerel simmered in sweet soy sauce. I also had shochu with water, and the total bill was a little over 1400 yen. It was a cheap and enjoyable evening drink on a Sunday.

Sazae is too smelly to eat. Even the tempura... The hot pot is okay, but the beer served in a chilled mug is the best.
