The buffet was small, but it didn't feel lonely. Grilled fish, sausages, salted squid, hot miso soup, seasoned seaweed, there was enough variety. It was nice to have some green vegetables. I have stayed at this business hotel in Nakashibetsu multiple times in the past. Why? The answer is simple - it's affordable (since I usually stay on a business trip, you know). It's located on a main street that intersects with Route 13 and Route 774, and you can easily spot the impressive building on the left as you head south from the intersection. There is a parking lot behind the hotel where you can park around 20-30 cars. I choose this place because of its price, as well as the new facilities, Wi-Fi environment, and proximity to the drinking district. So, after accompanying my boss to a favorite seafood izakaya the night before, I had breakfast in the hotel's dining area on the first floor the next morning. I had to leave early that day, so I was waiting at the entrance a little before 7 am, and the breakfast buffet opened almost ON TIME (impressive, right?). The breakfast is buffet style, with simple dishes that are sufficient for business people. The only unique feature is that you can drink Nakashibetsu milk here. Personally, as someone who doesn't usually eat breakfast, all I need is some salmon, scrambled eggs, and natto. This place is great for business trips or even for tourists looking to save on accommodation and explore the nightlife in the area. There aren't many options for nightlife in Nakashibetsu, but... (haha, bon appétit!).
