The dishes looked beautiful and tasted delicious! French restaurants can sometimes feel too formal and make it hard to relax, but this place offers a casual way to enjoy French cuisine. I had the lunch course, which was tasty and satisfying. Plus, they gave me scone bread as a souvenir, so I could enjoy it even after I got home! I would love to go back again!

It's a casual French restaurant. I went there with friends for a meal. Both my friends and I love bread, so we were looking for a place with delicious food and bread, and we decided on this place. We ordered the 3980 yen course menu which included: - Amuse-bouche: Red pepper mousse, corn espuma, mini croissant - Appetizer: Smoked salmon, prosciutto, pickled herring, beets - Soup: Pumpkin soup with coffee flavor - Fish dish 1: Pan-fried horse mackerel with American sauce, Parmesan cheese - Fish dish 2: Roasted scallops with red wine salt - Granita: Cranberry sherbet - Meat dish: Beef steak - Dessert: Chocolate terrine, mango mousse, vanilla ice cream - Petit fours: Coffee-flavored chocolate, apricot jelly, macaron, marshmallow - After-dinner drink: Coffee or tea - Bread: Plain, sesame, seaweed, raisin and walnut It was a very satisfying course where we could try a variety of dishes. The steak was a bit tough, but overall everything was delicious. The bread was amazing too, with 4 different kinds available for seconds. They were served warm and the staff were friendly, making the atmosphere very pleasant. I would definitely like to go back again.

I felt a sense of good value during the Sunday lunch break time sale, and I think there were many other customers who felt the same way. I used it for lunch on a regular day. It is a stylish bistro located on the 1st floor of the eFIT building, about a 3-minute walk from Sakaisuji-Honmachi Station on the subway. It is a hidden gem where a chef selected as one of the top 100 French chefs in Japan showcases his skills. The restaurant, which opened in August 2019, has a total of 32 seats in a small space. The floor was managed by three staff members dressed in black attire. The items I ordered this time and their evaluations are as follows: [◎, 〇, △] 18 kinds of spiced curry and spiced keema for 850 yen ◎ The layered taste of spiced keema and the five-grain rice-style rice are impressive. The colorful side dishes were delightful - red turnip pickles, pink shrimp paste, yellow onion fry, and green seaweed. As you eat, the curry, keema, and side dishes harmonize beautifully! Coffee + small sweets for 100 yen ◎ Coffee 〇 It is served in a cup with Nescafe logo, with a rich aroma and a firm taste. The strength of the flavor is MEDIUM 9. Small sweets ◎ Chilled strawberry macaron and fresh chocolate were excellent! The apricot gummy and strawberry marshmallow were also delicious. I reserved a course with one drink and a souvenir, and visited the restaurant. The interior of the restaurant is impressive with red sofas and black and white tiles, giving off an American atmosphere. The course A was priced at 2980 yen and included mini crostini with salami and red paprika, corn mousse, pumpkin soup with coffee flavor, assorted cold cuts with ham, smoked salmon, herring, and beets, fish dish with Americaine sauce, meat dish with fondue sauce, raspberry sherbet, chocolate terrine and mango mousse, petit fours, and scones as a souvenir. It was a small portion, multi-dish course, but the main beef dish was tasteless and the quantity was too much, making it hard to finish. It would have been better if there were options for chicken or pork as the main dish. The fish dish included croquettes which were flavorful and delicious. There was also a cheese shaving performance. The homemade bread was all-you-can-eat, and even the scones for the souvenir! The scones had a moist and delicious texture, unlike the usual dry ones. Overall, aside from the disappointing beef dish, the food was good, especially with the one drink and post-meal drink included.

The restaurant chosen by Nyake-chan for my birthday lunch was a place I had been curious about for a while, as I had passed by it many times. The stylish and calm interior with elegant wooden furniture, visually appealing and delicious dishes, each one tasty and generously portioned, with 4 types of bread available for all-you-can-eat. The dessert included 2 types plus cute tea sweets, and I was truly satisfied! The quiet and relaxed atmosphere of Sakaisuji-Honmachi on a holiday was nice. It was regrettable that we can no longer eat that curry. While walking, a colleague mentioned that there is another curry place nearby called "Karai Meshi," but I decided to try something new occasionally and ended up at the French restaurant "Bistro Moi et Galisson" for the first time. The interior of the restaurant is stylish and sophisticated, with many staff members. However, for some reason, we were not promptly seated and had to wait for water. Finally, we ordered curry, and I opted for the free extra-large portion. After waiting for 20 minutes, the curry arrived. I had high expectations for the French chef's curry, but it turned out to be different than I expected. The side dishes were explained, and the shrimp on the right was warned to be spicy. The curry itself was more like a vague European curry than a spicy curry. The rice was cold, and the curry was lukewarm, which was disappointing. The Keema curry was also unimpressive. Overall, the experience was disappointing, with poor service and lackluster food. The chef is a famous Japanese French chef who trained at a three-star restaurant in France and was selected as one of the top 100 chefs, but unfortunately, the food did not suit my taste at all. I will not be returning, but if you are interested, feel free to give it a try. The 18 types of spiced curry and the spiced Keema cost 850 yen.

Today's lunch is at Bistro Mauvais Garcons in Osaka, Sakaisuji Hommachi. I knew about the restaurant, but I didn't know they served curry. They have 18 different spices in their curry, so I had to try it. The restaurant has a French atmosphere, with French decorations and even French words written on them. I ordered the curry, of course, and got the large serving for free. They served bottled water and even asked for my preference on the water temperature. The curry arrived quickly, and the portion was a bit small for a large serving. The side dish included shrimp and seaweed, and they also offered Moroccan spices to sprinkle on top. The curry had a fruity sweetness with a hint of garlic, but I wished the flavor was stronger. I finished the meal and added coffee or tea with a mini dessert for only 100 yen. The mini dessert included macarons, apricot something, sakura marshmallow, and chocolate. The atmosphere, service, and food were all great. I was surprised by this hidden gem of a restaurant.

At the end of the year, I was running errands outside when it suddenly started raining, so I rushed into a bar for lunch. They served warm bread, which I think was homemade, with poppy seeds and walnut-raisin. The weather forecast said the rain was supposed to stop in the morning, but here I am, taking my time. Oh no! I forgot I have a hair salon appointment in 30 minutes. I need to eat quickly! I panicked and asked the staff to hurry with the food because of a sudden appointment. For the main course, I had chicken confit with string potato chips and foam sauce on top. There was also tomato sauce on the side. The chicken seemed a bit underprepared, but it looked fancy. It was hard to eat the potato chips quickly. It would be helpful if the main course was indicated on the menu outside. They offered more bread, but I had no time left. I hurriedly finished my meal and paid at the table. The staff saw me off at the exit. I'll come back for a more leisurely meal next time. Thank you for the meal.

We used the dinner course as a couple. When we entered the restaurant, there was a waiting area in front with a sign saying "Please wait here", but no one came to attend to us. We had to go into the back area and call out to a staff member before we were noticed. Inside the restaurant, there were already three groups of people. The atmosphere of the restaurant was dimly lit with candles on the tables, which was lovely. There were three waiters, but one of them seemed a bit awkward. They were trying their best, but it was hard to understand what they were saying. They need more experience. The food was delicious and well-presented. The speed of serving the dishes was just right, and they kept coming to offer more bread, so we left feeling satisfied. The course we had included homemade bread as a souvenir, and the scones from the souvenir were also delicious. At the end, we were overcharged, but we pointed it out and got a refund. If they gain more experience and offer more stylish service, we would consider coming back.

I have been to many restaurants in Namba, but this was my first time using this one. They have reduced the number of tables for COVID-19 measures, ensuring a sufficient distance between customers, and the staff were all wearing masks, which made me feel safe while dining. The lunch course was similar to other restaurants in Namba, and the cost performance was excellent! The chocolate dessert was rich and delicious! I had a great time until the end.

It's still a hidden gem with only 5 reviews on Tabelog, so it's a great find! Even the gourmet collector Galsonne finally made a long-awaited visit. We arrived just before 1 pm, but more and more customers kept coming in, showing its popularity! It's already becoming a hot topic. First, before looking at the menu, the staff offers a choice of cold or room temperature water. I chose cold water, which was served in a stylish bottle. I tried the "Quick Lunch (3 small tapas, pumpkin soup with coffee flavor, today's main dish, all-you-can-eat homemade bread) + drink". Here are my thoughts on the dishes: - 3 small tapas (corn espuma, red pepper and sea urchin mousse, mini croissant): The espuma disappeared smoothly, the mousse melted gently, and the curry-flavored croissant left a lasting impression. - Pumpkin soup with coffee flavor: Mixing the coffee and olives on top of the soup, the creamy pumpkin flavor spread in my mouth. - Homemade bread (poppy seed, walnut and raisin): The poppy seed bread was slightly hard, while the walnut and raisin bread had a soft texture and was satisfying. - Main dish of roasted Sakura Island chicken with creamy tomato sauce: The tomato sauce with butter foam on top, crispy potatoes as an accent, and various textures made it a delightful dish. - Plain bread and seaweed bread: The warm and delicious breads were a nice surprise. - Iced latte and mini macaron: The lunch set at 1,200 yen was very satisfying, and the latte paired well with the sweet macaron. Along the Dotonbori River, master chef Yoshikazu Hayano, who has been captivating gourmets with his serious French cuisine for 18 years, has opened a second restaurant in Sakaisuji Hommachi, taking over the now-closed bistro Le Nou Papillon. The new restaurant offers a return to classic French cuisine with a focus on small plates. Chef Hayano, who previously served as the head chef at the Syrian Embassy in Japan and was selected as one of the top 100 French chefs in Japan, offers dishes starting from 2,700 yen on weekday evenings, making it almost a miracle. The weekday limited Petit Course A (2,700 yen) includes three small sweets, an appetizer, soup, main course (roasted Sakura Island chicken with creamy tomato sauce on this day), dessert, and coffee. The menu is extensive, and the atmosphere is perfect for a casual drink as well. Another wonderful restaurant has opened near the office area.

The restaurant is located about a 5-minute walk from Sakaisuji-Honmachi Station on the Osaka metro. It seems that the shop was opened right after Lou Nue Papillon, as the exterior and interior look exactly the same, possibly using the previous layout. The seating arrangement includes 2-person tables with one set at the front and the next one leaving a space in between. Customers are seated at the frontmost table. The lunch course was considered, but I decided to go for the daily lunch at 850 yen to leave quickly. The meal included chicken in white wine vinegar Basque-style, salad, and soup. The soup was corn soup with cocoa, quite an interesting twist. The salad was shredded cabbage with a bit of carrot and ham. The main dish was a one-plate serving of chicken in white wine vinegar Basque-style with rice, fried vegetables, and foam, which was a bit of a mix. I didn't want to eat the rice with the white wine vinegar sauce, which was a bit disappointing. There was also a slice of focaccia. If I had chosen the curry for 750 yen, it might have been a better option. It would be better if they removed the shredded cabbage, replaced the rice with leaf salad, and served the focaccia separately. If they upgraded the 850 yen lunch to 1,000 yen with these changes, it would be worth it. They also offer lunch courses priced at 2,000 yen, 2,980 yen, and 3,980 yen.

I loved Papillon, but they moved and this new place opened up. The exterior and interior look exactly the same as Papillon, so it's hard to tell it's a different restaurant. I had the plate lunch, which came with a mini salad and potage. The main dish was chicken cooked in white wine. It looked like curry at first, but it came with rice and cute toppings. There were thin slices of potatoes on top. The chicken was tender and the sauce was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I was surprised by the large number of dishes. The size and shape of the plates, as well as the luxurious presentation of the sauces, were beyond what I expected for lunch. Each dish was well-prepared and delicious, making me want to go back again.
