In the vicinity of Daikokucho, a major restaurant is Muteppo, but I also think that Toride is quite a famous place. Especially during lunchtime, they have a weekly changing menu, and this week they are offering a healthy ramen and mini rice bowl set for 850 yen. This is a great deal as you get a full bowl of ramen along with a not-so-mini rice bowl. The ramen has delicious soup and firm noodles with toppings like 2 slices of char siu, clams, and baby scallops. The broth is chicken-based with plenty of shellfish umami, similar to clam chowder. This week's mini rice bowl was a mini char siu bowl with a nice touch of a soft-boiled egg on top.

Lunch is a good deal. For 850 yen, you get a daily changing?? weekly changing?? mini rice bowl along with your choice of ramen, which also changes daily?? weekly??. On the day I visited, I had thin noodles in shoyu ramen with dried fish broth, and a minced chicken rice bowl. I wonder if they use whole wheat flour? I didn't think too much and just chose the lunch set, so it was a bit of a miss for me as I'm not a big fan of dried fish flavors. But for those who like it, I'm sure they would enjoy it. I will definitely come back to try their recommended ramen when I have the chance.

・Lunch set for ¥850 is a great deal with a generous amount of noodles and a recommended rice bowl included at this price! I'll enjoy indulging in one food item a day! The set includes Shoyu Ramen with simmered fish broth and meat miso rice bowl. Although it's a mini bowl, the rice and toppings are plentiful, making it very satisfying. The meat miso has plenty of peeled clam meat inside, enhancing the deliciousness of the minced meat. The clam broth elevates the flavor, making the meat miso rice bowl irresistible. The carefully crafted soy sauce soup is smooth, the noodles are chewy and shiny, creating a well-balanced and delicious ramen. The rounded soy sauce flavor is a result of the blend of broth, showcasing the skill of the chef. The chicken breast and roasted pork are perfectly cooked, adding to the deliciousness of the dish. The crispy fried garlic on the side adds an extra punch to the already flavorful ramen. For those who want to change up the flavor, the garlic is a must-try! They also offer dipping noodles, a rich shrimp soup, and an award-winning clam white broth ramen. I'll try them when there's a short line and the timing is right. Can't wait to treat myself to Lilou and Happy! Bon appétit!

Superman's Ebi Shio Ramen for ¥950, with the option to add extra noodles for ¥150. The set includes tangy rice and a boiled egg for an additional ¥150. The broth is hot and flavorful, with a rich shrimp taste and a variety of condiments to enhance the experience. The tangy rice complements the shrimp well, especially when mixed with cheese powder and mentaiko soup. They also offer thick dipping noodles in rich anchovy soy sauce, clam white broth dipping noodles, black soy sauce ramen, and tantan noodles. #Ramen #Tsukemen #HiyashiChuka #Noodles #TonkotsuRamen #PorkBoneRamen #FishPorkBone #DriedFishRamen #SoySauceRamen #MisoRamen #SaltRamen #ChickenWhiteBrothRamen #ChickenWhiteBroth #Chashu #AburaSoba #TaiwanMazesoba #Tantanmen

Sometimes it's good to try something other than ramen. Actually, the drinking set here is recommended as it is quite reasonable. For the price of a 1,000 yen bill, you get bottled beer, gyoza, chashu, and kaki no tane (a type of snack). The chashu here comes in both pork and chicken, so you can enjoy different flavors. Give it a try!

I was interested in the clam ramen and rice bowl based on reviews, but unfortunately, today's rice bowl was a meat miso bowl. So, I ordered the large serving of the original clam white broth ramen for exactly 1000 yen. I quickly took a sip of the soup - oh! It was smooth and delicious, right? The soup seemed a bit lacking though. When I mixed the noodles and ingredients, the soup disappeared (laughs). I finished the soup to the last drop. I guess it must have been quite thirst-quenching. Thank you for the meal.

On a regular lunch day, I visited this ramen shop in Ookuni-cho on my way out. It's been about 7 years since I last visited Ramen Toride at the Namba store. I knew they had expanded their stores, but I didn't realize they had one in Ookuni-cho as well. When it comes to Ramen Toride, I always go for the clam broth ramen, but today I felt like trying their recommended tsukemen. I ordered the Rich Sardine Soy Sauce Tsukemen for around 1,000 yen. The tsukemen came with two types of chashu and a seasoned egg as toppings, making it quite a luxurious version. The notable thing about this tsukemen was the shape of the noodles. They were like flat udon noodles, or rather, they were definitely flat udon noodles (laughs). However, looking at the menu, it seems that you shouldn't just conclude the noodles with such a simple description. The noodles were crafted after numerous trial and error at a noodle factory in Sakai. They blended Kyushu-grown domestic wheat with plenty of whole wheat flour for fiber. Additionally, they hand-cut the noodles only for the orders placed that morning to preserve the flavor until just before boiling. This "hand-cut" process results in the beautifully shaped flat udon-like noodles being served. Dipping these ultimate noodles into the soup was an amazing experience. The texture was outstanding, with a superb chewiness. It's no wonder the shop highly recommends it. The soup was made with sardines and rich soy sauce base, possibly enhanced with kelp flavor, resulting in a smooth and pleasant taste. The combination with the noodles was perfect, but it seems like it would go well with any type of noodles. Truly a versatile soup. I enjoyed every last bite. Thank you for the meal.

I had been curious about this restaurant ever since it was featured on a gourmet show. I thought it would be crowded, so I decided to buy their instant noodles first. The soup was delicious. I was really looking forward to trying it at the actual restaurant! The instant noodles had a light soup, but the restaurant's soup was rich and even more delicious! The toppings also went well with it. The noodles had a good texture that matched the soup. I preferred the restaurant version! I really liked the soup, I drank it all up.

It's been a while since I visited Ramen Toride-san. This was my first time at the Daikoku-cho branch, and I was happy to see that they are open all day (*^^*). This place specializes in clam white broth ramen, which was delicious, but I was in the mood for shrimp this time. I ordered the Rich Shrimp Tsukemen for 1000 yen, and it was indeed rich in flavor. I usually prefer ramen over tsukemen, but I really like the tsukemen here. The thick noodles go well with the shrimp-flavored dipping broth. As a finishing touch, I recommend trying the rice dunked in the soup to make it like a risotto, which is a Toride-san style. I didn't order it this time, but it's worth trying! I have an Instagram account, @gen0314. Please check it out if you'd like!

This is a franchise store of Kaishiramen, with its main store located in Nagasaki and Sasebo. They have expanded to several locations in Kansai as well. I ordered the rich anchovy soy sauce dipping noodles this time. The whole wheat flat noodles are very thin, so the portion may not be satisfying, but they go well with the soup. Although there is quite a bit of chashu included, when you taste it, it's actually bacon. This is done to not interfere with the taste of the soup, and indeed, bacon is better. With this volume of bacon, there is a good amount of satisfaction in eating it, and personally, I like it.

So, there were other tempting ramen options, but I decided to purchase the "Original Shellfish White Soup Ramen" for 850 yen from the ticket machine. There was fried garlic on the table, but no pepper. After a while, the ramen arrived. It looked beautiful. However, it didn't come with chashu, instead, there were slices of seared bacon. The shellfish seemed to be scallops and clams, but they were so small they almost looked like baby scallops and clams. Surprisingly, the soup was light. Both the shellfish and the soup had a unique flavor that was not overpowering, and the white soup did not have a creamy element. The special noodles were thin but had a good chewy texture, and they were really delicious. Of course, I finished the soup as well. Since the portion was not too large, it would have been nice if they offered a small serving of extra rice for free during lunchtime. I am grateful for my healthy body today.

Today's lunch was at Ramen Toride in Okunicho. I had the original clam white broth ramen for 850 yen. The noodles were made with whole wheat flour, giving them a smooth texture. The soup was made from various types of clams, resulting in a rich and creamy broth that wasn't too salty. It also had seaweed and green onions, making it a healthy option. The broth had very little oil, so instead of chashu, it had bacon. I also ordered an extra serving of noodles for 150 yen, which were chewy and delicious. I'm now debating whether to order ramen without noodles and get an extra serving of noodles instead. #OsakaGourmet #OsakaLunch

Thank you for saving the desire to eat ramen for those struggling with dinner during the pandemic with many shortened business hours. The Ramen at Toride, where you are watched over by a cat on the sign, was delicious with its rich clam broth shoyu soup that tasted like pasta. It's a ramen that women will definitely love. It may not be clear in the photos, but it arrived piping hot, almost boiling, with the green onions submerged. The thick and tender wakame was delicious, and the fried green onions added a great flavor variation.

I have been here once before, but this is my second visit. This time, I ordered the black soy sauce ramen from the ticket machine. It would be nice if the person standing right next to the ticket machine could stop staring at me (^^; it's a bit intimidating... I sat at the counter seat and the ramen came out in about 5 minutes. It has a dark soy sauce look to it. When I tasted the soup, I could feel a slight sweetness along with the richness of the back fat floating on top. The soup was piping hot. The noodles were thick, and the toppings included bamboo shoots and chashu. The taste didn't leave much of an impression on me.

I visited the restaurant "Ramen Toride Okunicho" for lunch that day. This was my first time visiting this branch of "Ramen Toride," although I have been to other branches before. The location is very convenient, just a short walk from Daikokucho Station on the Osaka Metro. The restaurant has only counter seating. I purchased my meal ticket at the ticket machine near the entrance. The machine had pictures and explanations, making it easy to choose. I ordered the weekly special "Lunch Set for 850 yen," which included "Black Soy Sauce Ramen" and today's rice bowl "Half & Half Bowl with Simmered Clams and Chashu." The thick noodles in the black soy sauce ramen were satisfying, and the rice bowl was surprisingly delicious. It had simmered clams, which I hadn't had in a while. Thank you for the meal!

It's hot out, isn't it? After riding my mama-chari bike for 30 minutes at midday, I stumbled upon a cold ramen shop and decided to stop by. Without even checking the flavor, I ordered the Cold Chilled Ramen. Oh! It's the same as the hot clam broth ramen but served cold (゚ω゚)! It's amazing! Even when it's cold, it's incredibly delicious ♡ The broth is creamy and smooth, not foamy, but still very tasty. I'm not sure if it's the same as the hot version, but there were no clams in mine, instead, there were many clams. I really liked the salted cold ramen from Ryumonshin, but this clam broth one is also good. I'm tempted to drink it all up ♬ I feel so refreshed and in a good mood after finishing it all. Cold Chilled Ramen for 850 yen. By the way, 1. The button for Cold Chilled Ramen on the ticket machine is hard to find (・_・;). 2. It's a shame that the Eatigo coupon for a seasoned egg is no longer available (>_<).

Today, due to the impact of the self-restraint request for COVID-19, all the stores were closing at 7 pm. After wandering around, I finally arrived at "Ramen Toride Ogunicho" here. I was very curious about the white soup! It seems to be a clam white broth ramen! The taste was refreshing, despite its appearance.

It's hot today. Let's have lunch in Imamiya. Oh, many shops are closed on Sundays. I walked around Showa-cho and decided to have ramen. Huh? I had ramen yesterday too. They have cold ramen. It's like cold noodles, right? I remember a colleague from the past who was in the Yamagata branch saying, "They have cold ramen." I chose cold ramen from the ticket machine. It's 850 yen. The soup is white and there's ice in it. It's nice to have it in this heat. But, trying a unique dish at a new restaurant, I think I would have preferred a classic soy sauce ramen. It was refreshing. Thank you for the meal!

【Visit】Early afternoon【Arrival】Seated without waiting【Order】Original clam white soup ramen "Sai"【Budget】850 yen【Occasion】Casual solo dining【Location】1 minute walk from Okunicho Station【Meeting Minutes】I was curious about this place as it was only about 10 minutes from where I used to live in Osaka. Luckily, I was able to get a seat without waiting. There were many types of ramen I wanted to try, but I decided to go with the most popular one, the original clam white soup ramen "Sai". When it arrived, I was surprised to see that the soup was completely white. As someone who usually eats soy sauce ramen, this was a bit of a shock for me. But when I took a bite, I could taste the richness of the clam and the thin noodles were easy to eat. I would definitely want to visit again when I go back to Osaka. Thank you for the meal!

Since it was a day off, I decided to go on a cycling tour of the Seven Lucky Gods in Osaka. Along the way, I stopped by a restaurant where I had eaten before at the Matsubara branch. I ordered the Shrimp Shio Ramen set for 1100 yen. After a short wait, the dish arrived and the aroma of shrimp filled the air. I was really looking forward to it! However, when I tried the noodles, I felt like something was off. The taste was too light and I couldn't really taste the saltiness. I tried mixing the noodles with the soup, but it still didn't taste right. I later saw a response from the restaurant on Google Maps saying that they may have not drained the noodles properly and offered to replace the dish if I had mentioned it. I hope they have someone who can drain the noodles properly next time. The customer next to me was enjoying their Fortress Ramen and even said it was delicious. I remember being really impressed when I had it at the Matsubara branch, so it's disappointing.
