A Chinese restaurant located on the first floor of a building at the corner of the "Ohashi" intersection, about 100 meters south of Nishitetsu Tenjin Omuta Line's "Ohashi Station" in Minami-ku, Fukuoka City. The restaurant has been in business for about 20 years, run by a Chinese owner and a female owner. Their popular dishes include "Tomato Donburi" and "Sura-tan Men". I visited the restaurant for the first time in about 20 years for lunch. The restaurant is surprisingly spacious, with various seating options including tables, a round table, and counter seats. I ordered the number one menu item, "Tomato Donburi", and enjoyed the flavorful dish served in a unique bowl. The dish was simple yet delicious, with fluffy scrambled eggs and savory tomato sauce. The accompanying seaweed and egg Chinese soup was also flavorful and satisfying. I had a great dining experience and look forward to trying their other popular dish, "Sura-tan Men", next time.

I have been going to this restaurant for over 20 years and it's my favorite place! The Champon is 680 yen with a chicken broth base that is light and mellow. It has plenty of ingredients like pork, shrimp, and squid rings, making it delicious with lots of pork. There are no processed meat products! The Santan is 600 yen and is the restaurant's specialty. It has a strong sour taste from ginger and black vinegar. It's a soup that really warms you up when you have a cold or not feeling well. It has shredded pork, tofu, and beaten eggs with a generous amount of ingredients. If you come here, you must try this amazing dish. There is no parking available.

An elderly Chinese couple's restaurant. It has an atmosphere that feels like it has been beloved by the community for many years. I ordered the fried rice and liver with leeks set for 980 yen. The fried rice was fluffy and slightly moist. The flavor was slightly strong, with no particularly standout ingredients, but it was well done. The separation of each grain of rice was excellent, indicating a high level of skill. The portion size was generous and it was filling on its own. The liver with leeks consisted of thinly sliced pork liver coated in a light batter, quickly stir-fried in oil with bean sprouts, leeks, and onions. The seasoning was simple, just salt and MSG, which enhanced the flavors of the vegetables. This dish also showcased the skilled stir-frying technique. The fried rice and liver with leeks set was a satisfying meal that left me feeling full. This is a restaurant I would want to visit again from time to time.

From 'Izakaya Asajiro Tenjin Building Store' to the second place for a taxi ride, for a "day drinking crawl". It was tough on the way back (from Ohashi to Tenjin by train, then about 1 hour by highway bus), but it was fun to go out to the city after a long time. I felt like I was gradually regaining the old days, and although I still can't let my guard down, I felt happy. [Ordered items] *Lotus root sandwich tempura 380 yen *Crispy fried chicken (oylun chicken) 700 yen <- popular menu *Sesame dumplings (3 pieces) 380 yen *Spicy stir-fried deep-fried tofu 700 yen <- popular menu [Drinks] *Super Dry (draft) I was already full from beer, so I couldn't enjoy it slowly, which was disappointing. I'm thinking of coming next time with non-alcoholic drinks and a proper empty stomach.

Koufuku in Ohashi is a cozy Chinese restaurant where you can enjoy home-style Shandong cuisine. A popular dish is the tomato rice bowl, but this time I tried the set meal which included the super creamy Ma Po Eggplant. The flavors are rich so it goes well with steamed rice. I realized there are many Chinese restaurants near Ohashi. Set Meal B costs 820 yen and includes fried chicken with vegetables, Ma Po Eggplant, and dessert. - Restaurant Information - Name: Koufuku Hours: 11:30-23:30 Phone: 092-557-3888 Closed on Tuesdays Private rooms: No Location: 2-14-16 Ohashi, Minami-ku, Fukuoka City, Fukuoka

I was looking at Tabelog and it seems like this restaurant is somewhat popular. Sometimes I feel like eating Chinese food. There are currently 22 reviews with an average rating of 3.4, which is decent. I decided to go check it out. The restaurant is located in Ohashi, Minami-ku, Fukuoka City. It's in the downtown area of Fukuoka City, so there is no parking, but there is a public parking lot nearby where you can park cheaply. I arrived at the restaurant around 11:30 on a weekday and was greeted with a warm welcome. It's a Chinese restaurant run by a senior couple in their 60s in the kitchen and a woman in her 50s on the floor. I sat at a vacant table and decided to choose from the set menu instead of the daily lunch special. I ordered the Stir-fried Pork and Garlic Sprout Set Meal for 780 yen. The pork pieces on the plate were small, and the garlic sprouts were a bit difficult to pick up with chopsticks. The flavor was sweet soy sauce, and there was no aroma of oyster sauce, which they seemed to not use. The sesame oil aroma was strong, and the taste of mirin or sugar was on the sweeter side. It was okay to eat, but the sweet flavor made my hands tremble a bit, making it difficult to pick up the side dishes with chopsticks. However, when eaten with rice, the sweetness was less noticeable. The side dishes included chicken and daikon in a lightly seasoned stew, and spicy-sweet vinegar daikon. The Chinese egg soup had a good consistency with the use of potato starch. They said you could have rice refills, but since I ate the first serving in good balance with the side dishes, I didn't ask for more rice. Despite feeling like the portion was a bit small for a welcoming restaurant, I managed to finish the meal. I am worried about whether the garlic smell in the sauna room at the public bath I plan to visit next will bother other customers. I think it should be okay if I cover my mouth with a towel. I gave this review based on my experience, but there are some menu items that caught my interest, so if I try those, I might end up giving a higher rating. I plan to visit again soon.

Hello everyone! I love living in the city because the food is amazing. Whenever I go to a Chinese restaurant, I always end up choosing the crab fried rice. It's just so delicious and the seasoning is perfect. I highly recommend it!

This is a long-established popular Chinese restaurant located just a few minutes' walk from Nishitetsu Ohashi Station. I sometimes enjoy their specialty and popular Tomato Rice Bowl. It consists of fluffy eggs and juicy sweet tomatoes mixed with a thick sauce, creating a drinkable bowl (laughs). The exterior of the restaurant hasn't changed much over the years. The presence of manga gives it a classic Chinese restaurant vibe. Popular dishes include the Tomato Rice Bowl and Hot and Sour Noodle Soup, but they also offer classic Hakata Chinese dishes like Champon and plate udon, as well as various set meals. The daily special set meal allows for free rice refills for 650 yen. The Tomato Rice Bowl (Nishi Koshiki Gaihan) costs 650 yen. It's a visually appealing dish with juicy tomatoes, semi-soft eggs, and a generous amount of sauce that can be easily drunk with a spoon. The sweet and sour taste of the tomatoes pairs well with the light Chinese sauce. The Sweet and Sour Pork set meal costs around 750 yen. The generous amount of thick sauce in the Sweet and Sour Pork dish embodies the taste of traditional Chinese cuisine. It goes really well with white rice! Additionally, a mini mapo tofu was included as a side dish. The side dishes may vary daily. Today, I visited the Chinese restaurant Kofuku located at 2-14-16 Ohashi, Minami-ku, Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture. I was looking for a ramen shop as usual and couldn't find one, so I thought maybe Kofuku might have ramen since it's a Chinese restaurant. When I entered, the staff was on the phone and didn't greet me, so I waited. They were still on the phone for a while, so I raised my hand to get their attention and pointed at the menu to place my order. I ordered ramen for 550 yen. The ramen that came out was more like a Chinese soba. When I tried it, the noodles were chewy and the flavor was bland, not really to my liking. A bit disappointing! Thank you, Kofuku! Summer is all about tomato rice bowl and bottled beer! This bowl features sweet and fluffy scrambled eggs mixed with tangy diced tomatoes in perfect harmony. The restaurant has plenty of seating, making it suitable for large groups. There are also TVs and books available, so you can relax and enjoy your meal and drinks in the afternoon.

I went to eat my favorite hot and sour soup noodles. The reviews said the staff were not friendly, and it's true! The hot and sour soup noodles were not bad, but the noodles had no flavor, only the soup and ingredients were okay. Also, the tomato rice bowl was too sweet, and I was left wondering about it. I don't think I'll be going back there again!

"Kofuku" in Ohashi, a Chinese restaurant. The shop is located very close to the Ohashi intersection. On this day, I had a social gathering related to work (drinking party). After saying goodbye to everyone and heading towards my home, I stumbled upon Kofuku and decided to go in. I ordered the most popular dish, the tomato rice bowl (600 yen including tax). Here comes the tomato rice bowl. When I tried it... The refreshing acidity of the tomato... The fluffy, creamy, sweet egg... The light-flavored sauce all mixed together to create a delicious dish. Yes, I finished it in no time. It was the perfect dish to end the drinking party. I would like to try other dishes next time. Delicious tomato rice bowl, I will come back to "Kofuku" again!

I visited "Kofuku" in Ohashi 2-chome for dinner that day. When I entered the restaurant, it was around 8 o'clock and there was no one there... It didn't seem to be very popular. Putting that aside, I ordered a "beer for 500 yen" and a "fried rice and fried chicken set for 980 yen". I started with the beer and fried chicken. The fried chicken was average. Then the fried rice arrived. But the fried rice was orange overall. The ingredients were carrots and green onions. And the carrots were hard... The taste was... umm... The seaweed and egg drop soup also came, but the fried rice was... Well, that's it. Thank you for the meal.

The restaurant has various reviewers visiting. It was my first time visiting, even though I pass by frequently. The menu displayed outside and inside the restaurant are slightly different. Honestly, it was just an average Chinese restaurant, nothing particularly delicious or special. Maybe it would be different if I tried the sour noodles.

I had my favorite Chinese bowl for lunch today (*´∀`*) It was such a satisfying meal with a generous portion! The fried chicken was juicy and the cabbage dressing had a hint of sweet chili sauce, which was delicious too. Today's lunch was a total of 3 side dishes. Next time, I want to try the tomato bowl. I came to the popular Chinese restaurant "Kofuku" on the Ohashi Bridge and ordered the popular menu item, Sura Tanmen for 700 yen. When the Sura Tanmen was served, its appearance looked a bit dull. I was a bit worried, but when I tried the soup, it was delicious! It wasn't very spicy, but had a strong sourness. The thickness of the soup was just right. And the noodles were the highlight. They were completely flat Chinese noodles, which is quite rare. Personally, I love this type of noodles. I mixed it vigorously and enjoyed it. The thinly sliced pork, tofu, and other ingredients were plentiful. Just when I thought it was a little spicy, I found small pieces of ginger in it. This was really addictive. It's no wonder this is a popular menu item.

Hello, this is Harukichi♪ Today I searched for a place to have dinner around Ohashi area, and this place came up. It's a Chinese restaurant called "Kofuku". I hope to enjoy delicious food here and be made happy (even just a little, haha). The restaurant is within walking distance from Ohashi Station and has a historical look to it. The main seating is at tables, and the customers seem to be a wide range of people, from local older gentlemen to students. First, I ordered the "Leek Steamed Bun (1 piece) 120 yen" and "Fish Dumplings (8 pieces) 500 yen". The leek steamed bun indeed had a strong leek flavor. The dough was different from dumpling skin, with a chewy texture that was almost like grilled rice cakes. The fish dumplings were a bit unusual, as I originally wanted shrimp dumplings but they were not available. The fish flavor wasn't as strong as expected, and the texture of the filling was similar to regular dumplings. There was a slight fishy smell that might divide opinions. Next, I tried the popular menu item "Tomato Rice Bowl 600 yen". I like "Tomato and Egg Stir-fry" in Chinese menus, so I was curious about this dish. The seasoning was quite light, based on salt. It had a thick texture and a subtle sweetness. The tomatoes were cooked well, but the eggs seemed a bit overcooked. The simple seasoning, enhanced by the acidity of the tomatoes, made the dish enjoyable and not boring. Tomatoes are truly amazing (laughs). Next, I had the "Sura-tan Noodles 700 yen", another popular menu item. The soup had a thick texture and a mild spiciness and sourness. It had finely chopped tofu, pork (char siu), and beaten egg. The noodles were flat. It might have been tailored for Japanese taste, as I found the spiciness and sourness a bit lacking. I added chili oil and vinegar to my taste, which made it more delicious for me. This Chinese restaurant seems to be loved by the people in the Ohashi area, with reasonable prices that students can afford. There must be many loyal fans. I'm curious about their set meals, as this time I tried dim sum, rice bowls, and noodles. See you next time♪ Harukichi. Harukichi's Fukuoka Gourmet Selections http://ameblo.jp/nariagari5831/

"I couldn't read it because I was too busy eating" [Sour and Spicy Hot Noodles (Sura Tan Men) 700 yen] (o゚Д゚)=〇)T3T)∵オエフッ... I'm sorry. I just really like Kimio Yanagisawa, especially "Daishimin" is a handy men's cooking book. On this day, after swimming, I wandered around Ohashi for a nutrition replenishment. Thinking about spicy noodles, I remembered this restaurant, Kofuku. For over ten years, I have been passing by while looking at the photos of the sour and spicy hot noodles. Finally, I can eat it now. The time was around 14:40, but they were open. I entered and was greeted by a beautiful madam. I quickly ordered the sour and spicy hot noodles, and when I asked if it was spicy, she said it was peppery. I pouted and said, "I... I like it spicy..." and she kindly changed it to a chili pepper route. While waiting, I browsed through some manga and found a title. However, my phone's camera suddenly malfunctioned... I couldn't take photos... I tried to fix it, but the ramen arrived before I could. I still couldn't fix the camera... I was just a suspicious person... Eventually, I restarted it and it recovered, but I didn't have time to read the manga. Finally, I could take photos again, so let me describe the dish. The aroma of fermented black vinegar rising from the bowl... enticing. Beaten eggs, firm tofu, thinly sliced pork, wood ear mushrooms, and green onions. The soup was dark and thick. Now, the suspicious person... The soup... sour... It had the lightness of Chinese soup but was seasoned to taste the black vinegar. Although the chili pepper she changed to was at a level I couldn't understand (a repeat joke), I added some chili pepper from the table... and stopped there. The noodles... when I pulled them out, they were flat! Unexpectedly... let's try them... They were delicious! I like these noodles. They were like dried udon, good texture, not stretchy. The ingredients were ordinary, but I liked the texture of the tofu. Towards the end, I started sweating... Sour and spicy noodles have to be like this. I left some soup, but I didn't drink any water, I was too engrossed in slurping. Game over. It's hot... but this is the charm of summer ramen. I hate summer, but this is the essence of summer ramen. Thank you for the meal, madam. I'm sorry for being picky. I'll come again."

My partner had been interested in the Chinese restaurant "Koufuku," which is located across from MaxValu at the Ohashi intersection. Inside, there were quite a few salarymen, couples, and seemingly regular customers. It seemed to be run by a couple from the continent, with the husband in the kitchen and the wife handling the customer service. I was curious about the affordable lunch set (650 yen) advertised on the sign outside, but there were many other menu options to choose from. My partner had the Stir-Fried Pork with Green Peppers set (720 yen tax included), with a normal amount of rice and the main dish looking delicious. I had the Tomato Donburi for 600 yen (tax included), which had fluffy scrambled eggs and diced tomatoes in a Chinese-style sauce topped with chopped green onions. The visual presentation was like spring, and the perfect balance of sweetness from the eggs and the acidity and sweetness of the sautéed tomatoes made it very enjoyable. The review mentioned something like "Hakuhou-sai," and indeed, the sauce was similar. The Chinese seaweed and egg soup that came with the meal also filled me up quite a bit. There are other menu items I'm interested in trying, so I'd like to revisit the restaurant in the future. Thank you for the meal!
