"Yakiniku & Korean Cuisine Ran" in Tennoji-ku, Osaka City. Located right in front of the west exit of Tsuruhashi Station on the JR Loop Line, Kintetsu Osaka Line, and Nara Line, and a 1-minute walk from exit 7 of Tsuruhashi Station on the Osaka Metro Chitose Line. I visited at 11:45 on a weekday and the atmosphere inside the restaurant gave off a vibe of "this is a Tsuruhashi yakiniku restaurant." Looking at the lunch menu, unfortunately, there was no yakiniku lunch available, only the regular menu. So, I ordered the "Bulgogi set meal" (1000 yen) for today. The set includes rice, side dishes, Korean seaweed, soup, and Bulgogi with salad. The main dish, Bulgogi, had a mild flavor but was quite delicious. The portion size was a bit small, but considering the price, it was understandable. The side dishes, Namul and tofu, had good flavor. The service from the staff was a bit sloppy when serving the food. Throughout my meal, there were no other customers in the restaurant. I could understand why the restaurant had a low rating on Tabelog. The fact that smoking is allowed inside was a big disappointment for me. I'm not sure about dinner, but for a Tsuruhashi yakiniku lunch, I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here. I'll keep my expectations for dinner. I was politely greeted by the older brother and after looking around at various yakiniku restaurants, I ultimately decided on this one. They had a magical restaurant vibe, and the prices were reasonable. We ordered the two-person premium meat set, along with a mini cold noodle and sweet makgeolli. The portion size was just right for us, as we didn't want too much. It was a bit tricky to adjust the heat level, as it tended to burn quickly.

I came to Tsuruhashi after a long time and wanted to eat cold noodles, so I randomly entered a restaurant with a catchy "Magic Restaurant" sign. I wonder if they still broadcast that show? I ordered a lunch set with cold noodles and bibimbap. Some small dishes and bibimbap arrived first, so I had to wait a bit. I really wanted to start with the cold noodles. The bibimbap didn't have any meat in it, and the meat in the cold noodles was like ham. But I was satisfied because I really wanted to eat the cold noodles. After eating the cold noodles and mini bibimbap, I felt like my stomach was going to burst. I realized later that I should have just ordered the cold noodles on its own.

I went to eat yakiniku in Tsuruhashi. I had been here before, and I went to Ransan. The kalbi here is delicious. I went around 11:30 am and about half of the seats were taken. For lunch, they have bibimbap, oxtail soup, bulgogi, and many other options. I ordered the stone bibimbap lunch and the premium kalbi assortment. The stone bibimbap lunch was delicious and piping hot, and it came with panchan and egg soup. The egg soup had fluffy eggs and chewy Korean rice cakes, with a gentle flavor. The premium kalbi assortment included bone-in kalbi and marbled kalbi, which looked beautiful and tasted even better. It was a generous portion and I felt truly happy. The interior of the restaurant was very clean, and the staff were kind and had great smiles. I definitely want to go back when I'm in Tsuruhashi.

I tried cold bibimbap for the first time. I had to stop after two bites. The noodles in the cold noodles were not placed properly, making it difficult to pick up with chopsticks, and some parts were too sour from the vinegar. I had to stop halfway through. If they don't fix this issue, the restaurant will not do well. It's not the fault of the staff, it's an issue with the training. It's disappointing and unfortunate.

So, even though I went to a yakiniku restaurant, what I ended up ordering was a korean stew called sundubu. I'm not sure how it differs from sundubu. The pricing was a bit unclear, but there were side dishes too, which made the meal delicious. The fact that you can get a refill of rice is a nice touch that men would appreciate, right? It's great that you can enjoy a reasonably priced lunch here.

On the second day of our trip to Osaka, it was time for dinner. We had visited a lot of standing bars during the day and were quite full, but my wife wanted to have yakiniku, so I searched online and found this restaurant which looked good. We made a reservation and went there. The restaurant is located right by the west exit of Tsuruhashi Station, so it's easy to find. We told them about our reservation and were seated promptly. We ordered a set of yakiniku with draft beer for both of us. The quality of the meat was good and delicious. We also ordered rice, kimchi, and then added extra cuts of premium loin and premium skirt, all of which were very tasty. We each had four drinks and the bill was surprisingly reasonable. Everything was delicious. The prices are a bit high, but I think it's a good restaurant. We will definitely come back!

I went to a local area where there was no convenience store in front of the station for work. On the way back, after passing 1 pm, I decided to enjoy a casual lunch at a nearby place called "Tsuruhashi" in the light rain. When I entered, there were 3-4 customers (mostly women) enjoying yakiniku. Since having yakiniku alone for lunch seemed lonely, I chose the bulgogi set meal for 980 yen. Soon, side dishes arrived (common in this type of restaurant). After a while, the bulgogi, rice, and soup arrived in stainless steel bowls along with wooden chopsticks. The rice was slightly soft but not bad (did not seem like Koshihikari rice). The bulgogi was as expected and did not disappoint. The shredded cabbage dressing had a unique taste but was not bad. The side dishes included namul, kimchi (cucumber), and tofu kimchi. The kimchi on the cucumber was lightly seasoned, not pickled, and the tofu was too soft for my liking. It may be a bit expensive for a salaryman's daily lunch, but it could be a good upgrade for lunch occasionally.

April 31, Heisei era, Niku no Hi Visit The last Niku no Hi of Heisei era was planned to be celebrated with yakiniku in Tsuruhashi, which is the main event in Osaka. For breakfast, I had a salad, yogurt, and fruits at the hotel, planning to eat heartily for lunch. After checking out of the hotel, I went to Tsuruhashi station to store extra luggage in a coin locker before heading back to Namba area. I wandered around until around 1:30 pm when I returned to Tsuruhashi. The streets were crowded with customers at various yakiniku restaurants due to Golden Week or Niku no Hi. After looking around, I decided on a restaurant called "Yakiniku and Korean Cuisine Ran" because they had a limited "Jou Niku Set" for 2,980 yen. I waited for a seat to become available as they were changing over. I ordered the following: - Jou Niku Set 2,980 yen - Black Wagyu Aburi Yukke 1,580 yen - Jou Mino 870 yen - Extra Rice 370 yen - Wakame Soup 500 yen The total bill came to 6,300 yen. The Jou Niku Set included Jou Shio Tan, Jou Harami, Bara, and Roast. The meat was from Saga beef, which raised my expectations. However, I had difficulty distinguishing between Bara and Roast. The meat was delicious, and I enjoyed the On the Rice tradition. The Jou Harami was also tasty, and the Black Wagyu Aburi Yukke was unique with apple pieces, offering a crunchy texture and sweetness. The Wakame Soup was flavorful with plenty of wakame and large dried shiitake mushrooms. The Jou Mino was also delicious, showing the difference in quality compared to all-you-can-eat yakiniku restaurants. Despite spending more than usual, I had a satisfying yakiniku experience to end my Osaka trip.

I went to Yakiniku Ran the other day to eat. I was invited by a cheerful sister who was calling people in. The inside of the restaurant was clean and the staff seemed nice. I tried the lunch menu Kalbi soup. It was a little spicy and super delicious. The meat was big, and it had my favorite vegetables and glass noodles in it. I want to go eat there again.

I decided to eat yakiniku in Tsuruhashi. I chose a restaurant at random. The young waiter from Korea was funny and spilled sauce on my smartphone. But it was a lot of fun. The meat was delicious too.

I was recommended other restaurants in Tsuruhashi by the community, but my companion really wanted to go to a place where they could smoke. When I asked the guy in front of the restaurant, he said smoking was allowed, so we decided to go in. Since we had just eaten lunch, we weren't very hungry, so we decided to only order what we wanted to eat. The upper kalbi, upper loin, and upper harami looked delicious with marbling, but they lacked sweetness in the meat. It's difficult to evaluate the restaurant as it was just after the state of emergency. I think the evaluation would be different if the meat stock had been replenished to some extent when we were more hungry. Unfortunately, the battery of my tab died, so I couldn't take any pictures, sorry m(__)m

Located near the station, the prices are reasonable and the taste is guaranteed, so I highly recommend it. This is my second visit, and I am extremely satisfied.
