☆彡This old-fashioned bar, which doesn't feel like Kita-Shinchi at all, has a lively atmosphere. One day, I stopped by for some Akashiyaki during a pub crawl, and as the name suggests, Akashiyaki is their specialty. However, they have a wide variety of menu items, all generously portioned and reasonably priced. Their menu includes: Akashiyaki (700 yen), Vinegared oysters (price unknown), Doteyaki (600 yen). The difference between Akashiyaki and Takoyaki lies in the egg ratio. In Akashi, the local area, the oval-shaped Akashiyaki, also known as Tamago-yaki, is rich in eggs, soft and fluffy, yet cooked through. When dipped in broth, the flavors of egg and broth blend perfectly, especially delicious after drinking alcohol. I was surprised by the size and quantity of the Vinegared oysters I ordered as a side dish, and started a tasting session with some unusual drinks I found. Medicinal liquor, Carrot liquor, Kariin liquor, Lychee liquor, etc., all house-made and generously filled with expensive-looking ingredients, yet priced at only 500 yen per glass, very reasonable. Even the intimidating-looking medicinal liquor became easy to drink when mixed with soda. Since it was a pub crawl, I couldn't order too many, but I want to try them all next time because they are all cheap and delicious. This time, it was fun to compare and enjoy various types of liquor.
