Every time I come to Hakata, I make sure to visit this place. It has been a while since they moved from the top of Haruyoshi Bridge to this location. It's always crowded and sometimes I've been turned away because it's full, but this time I was lucky to get a spot. The food stall was already full, so I waited in front of the shop. The seating around the stall is cramped, with shoulders almost touching the person next to you, but that's part of the charm of eating at a food stall. As more people lined up, I noticed a line forming. A couple from Kansai struck up a conversation with the people next to them. Strangers soon found themselves sharing drinks and enjoying the atmosphere together. It's a mysterious space. The old man who usually runs the stall wasn't there, but the delicious and mysterious gyoza were as good as ever. The gyoza are made right in front of you - wrapped and cooked repeatedly until they are a pale white color, making it hard to guess what's inside. They are surprisingly light but incredibly tasty. The gyoza is only available to order once, no refills. Since they are small, two servings were easily devoured by two people. I ordered two servings of gyoza for 600 yen each and a lemon sour for 600 yen. Each serving of gyoza contains 8 small bite-sized dumplings with a thin skin that makes them easy to eat. The filling is finely ground and smooth. I wish I knew the secret to their deliciousness. The gyoza tastes great on its own, but even better with the gyoza sauce and red yuzu pepper. The gyoza has a light and sweet taste from the vegetables. Other menu items include hormone (offal), doteyaki (grilled meat and miso skewers), pork kimchi, and grilled pork belly with salt. The selection is not extensive, but the hormone is also popular. It was worth coming to Hakata just to visit this place. This visit made my day even better. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

First food stall! It was crowded on the weekend, so we were informed that additional food orders were not possible. We chose gyoza and hormone! For drinks, we went with a highball to go with the gyoza. The gyoza arrived, perfectly cooked with a crispy exterior. We started by dipping them in sauce. The crispy skin and hot filling spread in the mouth, with a subtle hint of garlic lingering at the end. Perfect to enjoy with the highball! The slightly mild red yuzu pepper also goes well with the gyoza. Before finishing the gyoza, the hormone dish arrived. The chewy hormone is stir-fried with miso, onions, and chives. Surprisingly light and goes perfectly with a sweet potato rock. It was delicious!

I moved from Kokura to Fukuoka! It's been a while, so I strolled around Hakata, Nakasu, and Tenjin. It was really hot, but I decided to visit a food stall, so I headed to Bu-chan in Nakasu, where the comedy duo Hachimitsu to Clover often goes. Since the sun hadn't set yet, it was still hot! I ordered doteyaki, two servings of gyoza, and plum wine soda. I wanted to visit other stalls too, so I ordered a little less. The gyoza was small but tasty. However, it seemed a bit pricey, maybe because of the tourist prices. But when you come to Fukuoka, you have to visit a food stall! Nakasu, as the sun set, had a really charming atmosphere. It was great.

Earlier I slipped a bit so I went for a revenge with the grilled ramen. The grilled ramen, a specialty of the food stall, costs 900 yen and a bottle of beer costs 550 yen. The flavor was rich and delicious. The people working at the shop were quite friendly. It's rare to find such good vibes at a food stall. When the atmosphere is good at a food stall, it makes you want to go back again. I'll visit again. Thank you for the meal.

I started lining up around 8:45 pm on Sunday and was able to enter the restaurant around 9:40 pm! You order one dish per person, and the gyoza is made after you place your order, so the turnover rate of the restaurant is quite slow. Drinks are not limited to one per person, so you don't have to order if you don't want to. I went with one other person and ordered two servings of gyoza (16 pieces). The gyoza arrived around 10:06 pm. The wait is quite long. For those who ordered other menu items, the dishes seem to come out relatively quickly, so it might be a good idea to order something else to pass the time. While waiting, I overheard a staff member telling another customer that the gyoza wrappers are custom-made. The onions used in the filling are apparently from Awaji Island, and they are sliced and left in the refrigerator overnight. Due to the waiting time and the effort put into making the gyoza, my expectations were high. When I tried the gyoza, at first I could taste the sweetness of the onions and it was delicious. However, as I continued eating, the spiciness of the onions started to linger in my mouth, even after finishing the meal. It felt like the onions were still in my mouth. I visited the restaurant while traveling, so it was a good experience to feel like I was at a food stall. However, aside from that, the restaurant is cold, there is a long wait, so I think it might be better to go to a different place.

The atmosphere of the food stall is really nice! I forgot to take a photo, but I ordered hormone (900 yen) and plum wine soda (600 yen). The hormone had a good amount and was delicious! It took a bit of time to be served, but the staff members were helpful, so it wasn't a problem.

I went on a trip to Kyushu with a friend and we visited this place after going to Nakasu Yatai "Yamachan". We waited in line for about 30 minutes to 1 hour. I had a highball and bottled beer in one hand, and enjoyed gyoza and grilled hormone. The gyoza is a specialty of this shop. The hot grilled hormone was absolutely delicious. It was a great experience to enjoy drinking and eating at this food stall.

I went on a business trip to Fukuoka and visited the famous food stall street in Nakasu. I decided to try a different shop from last time, and as I was walking through the stall street, I found a stall known for its gyoza, so I decided to give it a try. We visited at 7:03 PM with a group of three. We started with a toast with Asahi Super Dry bottled beer. For the second round, we had barley shochu with soda. There were 4 customers before us and 5 customers after us. The place was getting more crowded, so I could tell it was a popular spot. We ordered gyoza for 600 yen including tax and hormone (offal) for 900 yen including tax. The small Hakata-style gyoza was so delicious that we couldn't stop eating. The seasoning on the hormone was also great and went well with the drinks. Each person could easily eat 2 servings. Each stall has its own specialty, so I recommend visiting when you feel like having gyoza. The staff at the stall were very friendly. I would love to visit again. Thank you for the meal.

I lined up before the store opened and ordered two servings of dumplings and a sweet potato shochu on the rocks. The service was polite and good. After ordering, I waited for about ten minutes while they wrapped and cooked the dumplings. When they arrived, the dumplings had a crispy skin and were delicious. However, at 600 yen per serving, it felt quite expensive at 1200 yen for two servings.

I went to a famous food stall in Hakata at night. Since it was a weekday, there weren't many shops open. I went to a shop called Takashi, known for its gyoza. The voice of the guy calling people in was nice. The menu is simple. Of course, I ordered gyoza and oolong tea. The gyoza was small and cute. The taste was delicious, with juicy meat filling overflowing nicely. The flavor of the chives was also strong. The atmosphere of the food stall was great, and I think that's also the secret to its deliciousness. Thank you for the meal.

I've always wanted to visit Fukuoka, which is full of delicious food! Among them, the famous food stalls in Nakasu with ramen shops, oden, yakitori, gyoza, and more lined up, making you want to go drinking and eating every day. Among the many stalls, I researched and found a delicious stall, Waru-chan, known for their delicious one-bite gyoza. The bright older brother and kind landlady welcomed us! This gyoza shop, loved by Fumiya Fujii, is very popular and has been featured on TV many times. Before COVID, there were even times when people had to wait 2 hours in line... This time, due to the pandemic, there were fewer people, and we were able to get a seat without waiting. The one-bite gyoza was so delicious. It was the first time I had such a light gyoza! It didn't have chives or garlic, and the taste was so addictive that I could eat as much as I wanted. When I asked why it was so sweet, they said it's because they use grated onions instead of condiments! It was our third stop, so we were already full, but it was so delicious that we ordered more. The dotenabe was surprising! I had only eaten red miso dotenabe before, so I was surprised by the white miso base, which was sweet and gentle. I definitely want to come back to this place when I visit Fukuoka again. Thank you for the delicious meal!

On February 1, 2020 (Saturday) during my first day of the Fukuoka trip, my partner and I had dinner (2). After eating Mizutaki, we checked into the Washington Hotel in Canal City and went outside to explore. We lined up at a popular food stall along the Naka River in Nakasu, near the Seiryu Park. We waited for quite a while, about 40-50 minutes. While waiting, I looked up on my phone and found out that their specialty was gyoza. It was clearly written on the sign, but I didn't notice at first. When we finally sat down, we were told that they were not taking additional orders. I ordered a beer (medium bottle) for 700 yen, gyoza for 600 yen, and dotenabe for 600 yen. The gyoza had a wet vegetable-based filling and didn't have a particularly impressive taste. The dotenabe never arrived, so we ended up canceling it. In the end, the bill came to 1300 yen. I couldn't help but feel that the quality of the food stall in Nakasu might have dropped. Back at Canal City, as we passed by the bar at the Grand Hyatt, a female pianist was playing "Wave." It was a day where things didn't seem to go quite right.

On a certain day in July 2019, first day in Hakata, 3rd night spot with a senpai, the night is still going on. When trying to discuss the candidates for the 3rd spot, senpai said, "I'm actually quite full..." Hmm, that's true. Goroh usually gets hungry when changing restaurants, but senpai is not a big eater. Senpai mentioned that he wanted to try the yatai stalls in Nakasu. The yatai stalls in Nakasu are popular among tourists, but Goroh had never been there before. It always seemed crowded and a bit dirty, with higher prices than other stalls. But, this is also a part of tourism. We entered a stall called "Take-chan" where gyoza was popular. It always seemed crowded, but luckily there was a seat available. As soon as we sat down, the waiter said, "You can add drinks, but you can't add food, so please keep that in mind." What? What do you mean? Welcome, last order! It's a rule of popular restaurants, but for first-time visitors, it's hard to know the portion sizes. Most people don't order a lot right away, especially when dining alone like Goroh. Hmm, today's order is: Gyoza 600 yen, Dotenabe 600 yen, Beer 700 yen. The taste is good, as expected from a popular place, but it's a bit expensive for this portion size. 700 yen for a beer is like a high-end restaurant. If there are such restrictions, wouldn't the average customer stay for a short time? It makes it difficult to interact with the person next to you, right? Of course, everyone has their own way of enjoying things, but shouldn't yatai stalls be more casual and easy to use? I wish the yatai stalls I always visit in Hakata, full of local regulars, always filled with laughter and fun. Why don't they open a stall on days like this? Thank you, boss.

When I decided to visit the food stalls in Nakasu, I climbed up from the stalls in Tenjin. It was packed and I had to wait for about 10 minutes before logging in. I started with a shochu on the rocks. For food, I ordered the gyoza and hormone stir-fry that I was looking forward to. However, there was one disappointing thing... You can only order food once. This is quite sad. The charm of food stalls is being able to see someone enjoying their food or asking for something that looks delicious. But I couldn't do that... The food came out quickly. The Hakata bite-sized gyoza was truly delicious. Endless! Then, someone with the same idea as me... a big guy and a cute girl next to me said, "Excuse me! I want this hormone stir-fry, but we can't order more food once we've already ordered, right?" That's right! The staff apologized. I couldn't ignore someone with the same feeling, so I shared my hormone stir-fry with them. From then on, we hit it off! We even went to the next stall together! This is what's great about food stalls. I'm grateful for the encounters. Thank you to my friend who brought me here, and I may have raised my rating a bit because of this, but please forgive me. Thank you for the meal.

I came back after about 3 years. When I come to Nakasu, I always want to eat the gyoza from Takashi. I lined up last time and this time too. It's very popular. The gyoza has a simple taste but it's really delicious with just one bite. I want to come back to this place again when I visit Fukuoka.

If you want to eat delicious dumplings, I think you should visit here. There may be a line, but it's worth the wait. Taste is subjective, but it's undeniably delicious. Unforgettable taste. I want to visit again. It's cold waiting by the river. Summer might be better.

I wanted to try some bite-sized gyoza in Hakata, so I went to "Take-chan" in the Nakasu Yatai area, which had high ratings on Tabelog. There was a line of about 30 minutes until I could be seated. I ended up sitting next to a solo female office worker in her 20s from Nagoya, and we were able to have a conversation.

My mother and I went to "Tomochan" and "Sanyu" before ending up at this place, which seems to be famous for its bite-sized dumplings! There are many nouns stuck closely together on the ceiling for some reason, it's quite funny. We ordered the bite-sized dumplings and doteni stew. The dumplings were crispy on the outside and had a small amount of filling, but the inside was filled with soup or meat juice, similar to xiaolongbao. I had high expectations for the dumplings since they are famous, but they were just okay. I prefer the ones my mom makes with lots of filling! The doteni stew, on the other hand, was not very cost-effective. I was expecting something simmered in sweet red miso like in Nagoya, but it was completely different. The hormone meat was chewy and I felt like it was a bit of a disappointment. The stall seems to be run by a family and there are some rough-looking people around, but it's relatively easy to get in. The staff seemed friendly, so I hope they do well!

On May 3, 2018, I visited "武ちゃん" in Fukuoka, a traditional gyoza restaurant, and enjoyed a delicious plate of gyoza from a food stall. The owner of this stall, who trained at the famous "宝雲亭," has been a gyoza craftsman for over 50 years. The gyoza was perfectly cooked and had a sweet flavor due to the use of onions in the filling. The gyoza paired well with beer or shochu, making it a delightful experience for anyone visiting Fukuoka.

This is a review of a food stall in Nakasu, Fukuoka. I visited this stall during my trip to Fukuoka, as it looked promising along the street lined with stalls along the Nakagawa River. There was a short wait of about 15 minutes before being seated. The menu consisted of gyoza for 500 yen, horumon (offal) for 900 yen, and dotenabe (pork tripe hot pot) for 600 yen, along with drinks. The gyoza seemed to be a popular choice, so I ordered gyoza, horumon, beer, and plum wine. It was mentioned that additional orders were not allowed. The gyoza were small, one-bite size, freshly made after ordering. They were simple with minced meat and vegetables, perfect as a snack with alcohol. Later, I found out that the owner used to work at a famous gyoza restaurant in Hakata. The horumon was seasoned with spicy miso flavor along with vegetables, making it a great accompaniment to alcohol. Since it's not a place for lingering, I enjoyed gyoza, horumon, a bottle of beer, and plum wine before leaving. If you want to try various stalls in Hakata, this place is good for a quick bite of gyoza with drinks. I would visit again if I have the chance.

The dumplings are small and not too chunky in filling, with a refreshing taste. They are not exceptionally delicious, but you can enjoy the atmosphere of a street food stall at this shop.
