Inside, there are fresh fish, sushi, side dishes, vegetables, desserts, bread, etc. The prices are really cheap. There are so many people that it's hard to move forward. LOL I bought sushi, baked sweet potatoes, strawberries, yakitori, and fried food. The sushi is also cheap. The quality is slightly better than a typical conveyor belt sushi chain. I definitely do not recommend the fried food and yakitori. There is an outdoor space where you can eat and drink, and it was fun to enjoy a little picnic atmosphere (@￣ρ￣@).

I went on a trip for the first time! I visited a popular food market in Fukuoka where there is a wide variety of food options! They had grilled fish, yakitori, seafood, fried food, desserts, pizza, and many more all in one place! The prices were reasonable and I bought a lot of food! There was also seating outside where you could eat, so you could enjoy your food there as well as take it home. It was a great place to visit and I would love to go back when I have the chance!

I had to wait for 40 minutes at Ichitaro, even though it was a subtle time of 16:00. The food was delicious and cheap as always. They had a new serving robot with a face, which was cute. I think it's easier to get takeout here. Thank you for the meal!

After checking in at Kaiten Sushi Ittaro, we waited in front of the store for it to open at 10:00 am. To our surprise, some nearby elderly ladies entered the store around 9:45 am. We followed suit and entered as well. It was clever of the store to make customers wait and shop nearby. The spacious interior had a variety of fresh seafood, meat, and side dishes on display, making it an enjoyable experience. The fried foods looked delicious, and we ended up buying more than we intended. The shrimp tempura was mostly shrimp and very tasty. The sweet potato tempura was fluffy. The cheese-filled minced cutlet was average. The yakitori skewers were large and priced at 110 yen each. They were delicious when reheated. The side dishes were priced at 110 yen per pack and turned out to be surprisingly tasty. The salted fish roe and firefly squid made for great snacks. We bought too much. Payment was accepted in cash or through PayPay only. The fried foods and side dishes were delicious, and when we had the fish grilled later, it was top quality with a rich flavor. We would like to visit this place again in combination with the revolving sushi restaurant. It was almost 11:00 am, so we headed to the revolving sushi restaurant next.

When there is a New Year's gathering at my partner's parents' house, it has become a tradition in recent years to stop by here in the morning to buy sushi and sashimi. The sashimi here is fresher than what you can get at supermarkets in Fukuoka city. The yellowtail sashimi in particular is delicious with a nice firm texture! If it's the same 1 hour, there's an amazing fish market in Iizuka city. Its name is Hotomeki Market Ichitaro. During the New Year holidays, it's so crowded that you can't move. There are revolving sushi Ichitaro, Hotomeki Market Ichitaro, and Sushi Ichitaro, and it's confusing which is which. This one is the entrance, that one is the exit. It's like a haunted house. When you enter the store, there are 10 kilogram class yellowtail and horse mackerel sitting there. And there are yellowtail, horse mackerel, pufferfish, eel, turban shell, and more in the fish tank, exceeding the realm of a fish tank. The tail and collar of sea bream and yellowtail cost 100 yen. Because it's the New Year holidays, there are yellowtail, crab, pufferfish, kazunoko, and the wide store is becoming unbelievable. What do you mean by unbelievable? Well, I don't know, but it's like having the Nebuta Festival, Danjiri Festival, Awa Odori, and Hakata Dontaku all at the same venue, along with the Olympics, the World Cup, Disneyland Resort, USJ, and Hoshino Resort. Just moving 1 meter feels like walking 1 kilometer. Managed to purchase sushi in the crowded place. This is the first time I've had sushi this delicious. The type of fish and the rice are both big, just amazing! There were quite a few cars from Kitakyushu, but none from Fukuoka. Fukuoka people are missing out. There was also pufferfish fin, so I'll take it to my favorite shop and treat them to fin sake. The sashimi of real pufferfish costs 2,800 yen. Just like the fugu, it's equally delicious. However, this time I bought fugu sashimi at Roadside Station Itoda, so I skipped the real fugu. The real fugu (mafugu) has no smell and is delicious just like the tiger pufferfish. The tiger pufferfish has a unique fragrance like flatfish, while the mafugu has no unique scent. One thing I can say is that they're both delicious!

There is a popular revolving sushi restaurant on the same premises, but here you can find a variety of dishes such as eel, sashimi, sushi, mentaiko, Kagoshima beef, yakitori, fried chicken, tempura, horumon (offal), side dishes, bread, pizza, sweets, and more. There are also terrace seats where you can dine in or take your food to go. Since it is a market, they also sell plenty of meat, fish, vegetables, fruits, and more. Although it has been around for a long time, it has recently been renovated. The premises were originally spacious, so it would have been better if they had rebuilt it like the revolving sushi restaurant, but instead, they added more buildings. This makes it convenient for shopping in a flow, but if you only want to buy side dishes, you have to pass through the fish section, vegetable section, and go to a separate building for the checkout. It has become a bit inconvenient for shopping. This time, I tried the pizza for the first time. There is a small ticket machine where you can purchase a ticket in advance. There is only one type available, but it is priced at 600 yen per slice, which is cheap. It is a classic pizza with tomato sauce, and the dough is quite authentic and chewy. I also bought some rolled sushi. In addition to regular rolled sushi, there are varieties such as lettuce roll, white fish fry roll, natto roll, tonkatsu roll, and more. They are large, satisfying, and delicious. It tends to be crowded on holidays, so it is better to go on weekdays if possible.

Ichitaro's Hotomeki Market (*^ω^*) offers a variety of products including seafood, vegetables, meat, and bread. I have been a regular customer even before the renovation. This time, I planned to buy sushi and whale tail meat, but I unexpectedly found the kimchi that I often buy at Tagawa City's roadside station! I was surprised to see it here too and quickly added it to my shopping basket (laughs). I also bought the Yume-nyuken Shokupan that I always buy. Unfortunately, they were out of whale tail meat this day, so I settled for whale red meat only. Moving on to the sushi counter, amidst the crowd, I quickly decided on my choices: Kinmedai nigiri for 480 yen, Hilas nigiri for 420 yen, battera for 680 yen, domestic kimchi, Aliran (I forgot the price, sorry), and Yume-nyuken Shokupan (I also forgot the price, sorry). The Kinmedai nigiri had a thick slice with a hint of yuzu pepper, offering a firm texture at first and a sweet and tender finish. I really enjoyed it. The Hilas nigiri featured Hiramasu, which is rarer than yellowtail and amberjack, with a thick slice and a perfect balance of texture. The battera had just the right amount of vinegar and no fishy taste, with a hint of spice in the rice. The mackerel was thick and had a good bounce, offering a satisfying portion. The domestic kimchi Aliran had a well-balanced sweetness and umami, making it easy to eat with reduced acidity. I enjoyed it with the sushi. Lastly, the Yume-nyuken Shokupan was from a bakery in Yukuhashi and Chikuho. It has a consistent chewy texture that I enjoy. Overall, you can find a wide range of fresh food items here. I will definitely visit again (*≧∀≦*).

It's a shop I often visit, as they have a wide variety of vegetables, fruits, meat, seafood, sweets, processed goods, and side dishes. I usually buy yakitori, fried chicken, and side dishes, but today I bought sushi and sweets. The sushi is of decent quality as they operate a conveyor belt sushi restaurant next door. I like rolled sushi. The sushi was rare and delicious! It was a good visit.

From the Chinese cuisine corner, I picked up mapo eggplant for 300 yen, made with plenty of minced meat. And of course, affordable fish is a must here, so I also got a sashimi assortment for 380 yen. It included a variety of fish such as tuna, squid, and salmon in cut-off pieces, which is a great deal for enjoying at home.
