It is located on the first floor of Oak building, in a slightly inconspicuous location. The main seating is at the counter, making it easy for solo diners to enter.

I went to a restaurant that I had been wanting to visit but hadn't had the chance to go before. The restaurant is called "Donbun Tei." This place is operated by "Gourmet Kineya Co., Ltd.," which also runs "Handmade Udon Kineya" and "Shinshu Soba Dokoro Sojibo," specializing in tempura rice bowl dishes. Personally, I like "Shinshu Soba Dokoro Sojibo," so I was curious to see what this place was like. I visited the location in Bentencho. Although there are also branches in Umeda and Tenjinbashi-suji Shopping Street, I hadn't had the opportunity to go there. I happened to pass by this place while I was in the area for something else, so I decided to check it out. It was around 1:30 PM, so it wasn't crowded. I was seated and handed the menu, which included tempura rice bowls as well as soba and udon dishes. For the rice bowl dishes, you could choose from three options: with miso soup, with mini noodles, or with regular noodles. I chose the "Tempura Rice Bowl with Mini Noodles." For the noodles, you could choose between soba or udon, and hot or cold. Since I prefer soba in Osaka, I chose soba and hot noodles. After a while, the food arrived. It consisted of three shrimp tempura, along with eggplant, shishito pepper, and pumpkin. I first tasted the soba broth, which reminded me of the one at "Shinshu Soba Dokoro Sojibo." Then, I tried the rice soaked in the tempura sauce, which had a light Kansai-style flavor. The tempura was freshly fried and tasted delicious with the sauce soaked in. It was tasty for the price. I wonder how they differentiate themselves from "Shinshu Soba Dokoro Sojibo"? Maybe they have a limited menu to increase customer turnover.

The restaurant is located in a relatively hidden place, but the environment is clean, the staff is friendly and kind, the food is high quality and cheap, and the portions are sufficient. It is a very good restaurant.

Tsukimi gyudon and kakesoba set. A hearty meal that will leave you feeling satisfied with a full stomach!

By the way, there is no soba-yu available.

The tempura sauce is delicious.

Today is a beautiful day!!! I am K66, who has been suffering from the commute hell since the end of the year and couldn't wake up in the morning to attend the morning gym session. Now, I will finally post about a visit I made to a new restaurant last year that was not listed on Tabelog. It's Donburi Tei Bentencho Oak Store. Here is a photo. Hmm, it feels like a chain store!!! I opted for soba this time. They had a lot of shrimp as part of their opening promotion. The taste was average. I don't think I will be visiting again.
