You can choose your pasta from the menu, so I went with tomato sauce and mozzarella basil spaghetti. The handmade pasta was chewy and had a slightly rough surface that allowed the sauce to cling well. The pasta texture might be a matter of personal preference, but the sauce was truly delicious.

Since it was just my daughter and I, we ordered the set for two people. It was a Sunday afternoon, but people kept coming in one after another, showing that this place has been popular for a long time. It's a restaurant loved by the locals. When my child was in elementary school, I used to come here often for lunch with my mom friends, but it's been a while. The pizza was delicious, even though it was my first time trying it. The pasta, made with fresh noodles, was perfect. The dessert at the end, chocolate pudding, was not too sweet and good. I will definitely come back.

The other day, when I went back to my hometown, my family and I decided to dine out together at this Italian restaurant near the station. In the town of Meinohama, when it comes to Western-style restaurants, there are "TOKI," "Elvetta," and here, "Verdura." However, both "TOKI" and "Elvetta" have closed down. It is very unfortunate, but Verdura is still operating! It is a typical family-run restaurant. It has been six months since my last visit, and looking back at my previous review, I ordered the same dish again. "Bacon and spinach cream pasta" is my favorite. The fresh pasta here has a great texture, and the rich cream sauce perfectly coats the noodles, complementing the saltiness of the bacon. The Margherita pizza is loaded with cheese, and the crispy crust is delicious! The colorful salad with homemade vinaigrette dressing is fantastic! Having a beer on a holiday afternoon is the best! Even a sweet potato shochu hot water split would be great here, although they don't serve sweet potato shochu. [Thoughts] I don't think people visit Meinohama unless they have a reason to. Personally, I wouldn't go to the southern district, Kasuga, Onojo, let alone Kurume or Futsukaichi, without a reason. However, in each town, there are countless wonderful and delicious restaurants like this one. I hope "Verdura" doesn't disappear like "TOKI" and "Elvetta" did. The fresh pasta here is a popular local spot. The previously mentioned "TOKI" and "Elvetta" were also very popular and delicious local restaurants. But they are no longer around. The restaurant industry is tough. Just being delicious doesn't guarantee survival. I may be overly worried, but I don't want "Verdura" to disappear! I think the fresh pasta here is worth a visit to Meinohama even if you have no reason to go there. The restaurant is right in front of Meinohama Station North Exit!

I haven't been back to Fukuoka in a year, so I was excited to order the pasta I always used to eat...! - Lunch Set (1,080 yen + extra large 200 yen) * The lunch set includes pasta, salad, and a drink I couldn't contain my excitement and ended up getting the extra large portion... haha By the way, Japones sauce is a steak sauce made with various grated vegetables in a soy sauce base...! It goes really well with the fresh pasta...! First, the salad arrived, and I enjoyed it while waiting... The slightly Japanese-style dressing was also delicious... Soy sauce(?) with a nice acidity... I could eat it endlessly... It was a bit crowded, so it took about 15 minutes for the pasta to arrive! It's been so long! The aroma...! I usually don't have a good impression of fresh pasta, but this place is different! The ingredients include eggplant, zucchini, bell pepper, onion, paprika (red and yellow), leafy greens, shiso leaf, shimeji mushrooms, enoki mushrooms... I couldn't identify the leafy green... It has a texture similar to leaf lettuce or komatsuna... A bit bitter and new to me... haha I reminisced while savoring every bite and finished it in no time...! I enjoyed a cup of hot coffee after the meal, listening to jazz music... I really love this place... Even though I had training today, it turned out to be a great day off... It's been about 2 years since I last visited the restaurant called "Vegetables" in Italian. The owner, his wife, and their son were there as usual, but there was a new female staff member whom I didn't recognize. Maybe she's the son's wife? I'm not sure. I ordered the "Spinach and Bacon Cream Pasta," which I usually order every time. The homemade noodles had a chewy texture, and the cream sauce was mildly flavored. Salt and pepper were available on the table for adjusting the seasoning. The pasta was delicious and comforting. If you go in the evening, you can enjoy a variety of wonderful Italian dishes.

This shop has been around for quite a while. Even on Friday before 1 pm, almost all tables and counters were full, but since I was alone, I was able to sit down right away. It's been a while, but the deliciousness hasn't changed! Pasta, salad, and a drink for 850 yen is quite a good deal, don't you think? Also, it's nice that you can choose from several types of pasta, as many places only offer two options for lunch. I received a service voucher. I definitely have to come back here. (^_^)

I visited the girls' gathering again. Everything I ate was delicious without fail. This time, I even finished the dessert in no time. I forgot to take a picture of the pizza, but I definitely want to go back to eat again. This is a restaurant where I will definitely be a repeat customer.

I had some business in Minohama and had been curious about a restaurant with a signboard displaying its name in front of the station. Around 2:30 PM, just before the order stop, I decided to go in. The lunch pasta set was 930 yen! I ordered the tuna and vegetable cream pasta. It came with salad and a drink. The pasta had plenty of tuna, the seasoning was just right, the cream was not too heavy, not too light, just perfect, and it was delicious! I arrived just before the lunch rush, but it seems like it's always full during lunchtime. It might be better to go a little later to avoid the crowds.

A family of four (including two children) visited the restaurant for dinner. We had: 1) Bagna Cauda, 2) Fresh Foie Gras and Veal Fillet with Fondue and Balsamic Flavor, 3) Bacon and Spinach in Tomato Sauce, 4) Spaghetti with Cream Sauce and Fresh Sea Urchin, 5) Focaccia, 6) Garlic Toast, and 7) Grape Juice and Grapefruit Juice. The fresh pasta was deliciously chewy as always, and the Foie Gras and Veal Fillet was especially praised by my daughter. The Spaghetti with Cream Sauce and Sea Urchin exceeded expectations and became the best cream sauce spaghetti ever, truly impressive. We also enjoyed the Bacon and Spinach in Tomato Sauce spaghetti, especially the thick-cut bacon which was very tender and to our liking. It was a fantastic restaurant, and my daughter even said she wants to come back. We will definitely be returning.
