Second visit. There was a bit of a gap since my last visit, but the owner remembered me, which was impressive since I'm not good at remembering people. Anyway, last time I visited, they served some food as a snack. It seems to change every month, and this time it was tartar sauce, which was delicious. I could visit every month just to enjoy it. This time, I had two whiskies on the rocks, and my wife had a milk-based cocktail. The cocktails were also delicious, so I might try one next time.

Today's second stop was this place. The master seems to be a cat lover as the name and interior of the shop are all cat-themed. I brought my wife here because she loves cats. Inside, there was only one regular female customer. We were seated at the counter to place our orders. I ordered my favorite Morengy, while my wife wanted a sweet cocktail. My drink was reliably delicious, and my wife also loved her cocktail. We were served a complimentary dish of chicken breast with sea chicken topping, which was surprisingly tasty. It was the first time we had a meal at a bar, but it was really good. The master mainly chatted with the regular female customer, but he also engaged in conversation with us from time to time and promptly asked if we needed another drink. He had a good balance in his interactions, and my wife also gave him a high rating. We had about three drinks each and then left the shop. We definitely want to visit this place again.

I went to the bar "Bar Quattro Gatto" on the fifth floor of a mixed-use building along Hozenji Yokocho Koi-san Street. This place used to be owned by a former employee of a bar called #BAR Kitada, which I was very grateful to when I was transferred to Okayama. The cat mural on the wall is very cute. Like Kitada-san's place, it's a spacious and relaxing space. Even though the bar is in the heart of Namba, we had a great time talking about Okayama. I definitely want to visit again.

The bartender, who seems like a country person, talks a lot. It's a style you don't see much in the city. I arrived at 7 pm on Friday night, right when they opened. I planned to drink alone, but the bartender started talking to me a lot. It's not bad, in fact, it feels quite comfortable. In Osaka, bartenders don't usually talk to customers much, but the master of this bar seems to be very talkative with solo customers. Sometimes, it's nice to have a drink and chat with the bartender.

I visited the bar Quattro Gatto in Namba, Osaka. It is located about a 5-minute walk from Namba Station, on the 5th floor of a mixed-use building. The interior of the bar has a sophisticated atmosphere, with a counter and sofas providing seating for about 18 people. The lighting is somewhat dim, making it a great place for a date. There are box sofa seats available for groups of around 4 people. The black cat painted on the white wall is quite impressive. They offer a wide selection of drinks, including Blanton's Rock Bourbon, Scotch, and Japanese whiskey. They also have original cocktails and seasonal specials. As a whiskey and wine lover, I felt comfortable bringing my female friend here. I couldn't resist ordering the special food item, "Neko Manma," which is a doria with bonito flavor. The staff, who are also good-looking, provide excellent service. Although there is a 500 yen charge, considering the location, atmosphere, and quality, the satisfaction level is high. It is a better bar than the one with a rating of 3.28 on Tabelog (as of February 2015). There is also a steakhouse called "Tsukikage Kamen" in the same building, so you could consider hopping over there after visiting Quattro Gatto. Tsukikage Kamen also serves high-quality meat that exceeds its Tabelog rating. When trying to impress a woman in Minami, I recommend visiting this bar for the handsome staff. (laughs)

Hello, this is Tokuko. I visited a bar in Namba that has a great atmosphere. It's called Quattro Gatt (4Gats) and it's located on the 5th floor of the European building behind the Namba Matsuzakaza. Unlike the lively atmosphere outside in Namba, this bar has a very sophisticated and stylish vibe. I started off with a beer, cheers! The Maltz beer was delicious. It's been a while since I've been to a bar, so I was excited. Today's charm was a curry flavor that goes well with alcohol, and it was delicious and elegant. The interior of the bar features illustrations of four cats, which is the meaning of "Quattro Gatt." The bar is said to be inspired by a place in Paris where famous artists like Picasso used to visit, so it has a very calming atmosphere. The variety of drinks is extensive, and their original cocktails are highly praised. They always have fresh fruits on hand, and I ordered one of their original cocktails, which was a vodka-based refreshing drink with pear and grapefruit flavors. It was really delicious! I really liked the drink and the atmosphere of the bar. The owner and manager, Mr. Hashizume, is from Okayama and he is a humorous and stylish handsome man. His smile is very refreshing. This bar has many regular customers, and I can see why with such great service. I would love to visit this wonderful bar again. I felt really happy to have come across such a lovely bar and enjoyed a delicious drink. It was a great experience.

2013/3 Final post for now. I planned to have just one drink this time, but ended up staying longer. The atmosphere was enjoyable and the service was excellent, making the drink even more enjoyable.
2012/6/16 Manager's birthday. Despite the heavy rain, the place was quite busy with guests, showing that it is a beloved spot. The bar has a chic vibe but also a relaxed feel, making it a great place for bar beginners.
23rd visit in September. The staff's memory and insight are impressive, as they recognized me even after cutting my hair. Visited with my daughter as our third stop of the night, and it did not disappoint. We left feeling satisfied and my daughter was glad we came. We enjoyed a rare Scotch and had a great time.
Despite being open for only a year and a half, the bar has a strong group of regulars. The atmosphere and conversations reflect this. The place offers a high value for its location in Okayama. It has a genuine bar atmosphere, slightly more casual than the original North Bar, but still classy. It's a great spot for a date or for work discussions, and also a good place to relax alone. I live nearby, so I will definitely continue to visit in the future.

I wanted to have a drink in Namba, so I decided to check out this place. The interior has around 7 to 8 counter seats and two 4-person table seats, but there is a spacious area in the center, giving off a very open and clean impression. It seems like a new establishment with a lot of cleanliness. The atmosphere is calm and sophisticated, perfect for those who want to enjoy a quiet drink. I had wine and Scotch. They also have pasta and other food options available. With a great atmosphere, a variety of drinks, excellent service from the staff, I would give it a perfect score of 5.

After having a bowl of ramen at "Kinkuemon," I headed to my destination for the day, "4Gats." I followed the map on my phone and finally arrived at the building where the restaurant is located. I took the elevator to the 5th floor and found the only tenant in the building with a sign (poster) displayed where the elevator opened. Nervously, I walked to the right and entered the restaurant. Inside, there was a calm atmosphere with ink paintings of four cats, which were the inspiration for the name of the restaurant, on the walls. Although it hadn't been long since the opening, there was already one male customer. I was guided to the counter and settled down. For drinks, they offered draft beer, specifically Suntory Premium Malts. Unlike "Bar Kitada," where I usually go, the beer here was Suntory Premium Malts on tap. I had the option of choosing between "Mixed Nuts" and "Habanero Pickles" as a snack, so I chose the latter without hesitation. I was initially planning to enjoy my drink quietly by myself, but as I watched the live broadcast of Olympic women's judo on the projector on the wall, I found myself chatting and getting along with the other customer and the staff without realizing it. The Habanero Pickles made me sweat, but I kept sipping my beer while enjoying the company. I then had a Mojito, a short cocktail with Passoa, Maker's Mark, and the drinks kept flowing in the fun atmosphere. The cocktails were all well-made and delicious. In the corner of the L-shaped counter, there was Okayama's Kiyomizu white peach, which brought back nostalgic memories of summer for me, being from Okayama. I wanted to try a cocktail with it, but I was already feeling a bit tipsy, so I decided to stop there. Just like "Bar Kitada" in Okayama, this bar had handsome staff members who made the experience enjoyable. My night out in Osaka just got even better with this new discovery!

One day in the afternoon at the bar "BAR4GATS" in Namba. My mind was already drawn to beer... Come to think of it, I know a fair amount about the bars in Tenjinbashi and Ohatsu Tenjin, but I don't know anything about the bars in Minami. This won't do! So, I decided to check out this bar that caught my interest. I invited a friend to try the spicy hot pot that I was curious about, and we went to this bar as our second stop. While wandering around near Dotonbori, we stood in front of the building we were aiming for. Is this building okay? How should I put it... Definitely not an elegant building. A dirty, run-down building that can be found anywhere. A building with a bar sign, but when you open the door, you are greeted by heavily made-up older ladies smoking cigarettes, saying "Welcome". Without saying a word, my friend and I exchanged glances, slightly hesitated, but decided to go in anyway. There is an elevator, but if the door opens and it's a store, there's no escape, so we cautiously climbed the stairs. The path to the bar is always close to danger. Huh? Surprisingly, it looks quite nice. As I glanced at a picture of a cat, I opened the door and went in. By the way, the name "Quatro Gatos" means "4 cats" in Spanish. It's a good atmosphere. There is an L-shaped counter and sofa seats. The photo above was taken from the counter, and there were customers on the left side, so I refrained from taking photos of the interior. For a place right in the middle of Namba, the prices are standard or slightly cheaper. A bar suitable for enjoying the afterglow of a movie. ★BAR4GATS Address: Namba 1-7-18, Namba Yorobian Building 5F Tel: 06-6213-7666 Business hours: Mon-Thu 18:00-3:00, Fri-Sat 18:00-5:00 Closed on Sundays (open on public holidays) Cover charge: 500 yen Draft beer: 600 yen Cocktails: 800 yen and up

The other day, when I went on a business trip to Namba, I visited a bar recommended by an acquaintance bartender. The location was near Namba Station on the Midosuji Line, right near exit 14, close to the gold dragon ramen stall, so I was worried it might be a lively place, but it turned out to be a surprisingly quiet adult-oriented establishment, which I was pleasantly surprised by. The cover charge was 500 yen, and beers and whiskies started from 600 yen, so it was kind to my wallet. However, when I went there for the second time and ordered a cocktail, the budget seemed to increase slightly, so please be aware of that. Still, compared to other places, I think it's a very cost-effective establishment. I definitely want to go back there again.

I visited a steakhouse called Gekkou Kamen on the first floor of the same building, and noticed a shot bar on the fifth floor. It was a conventional shot bar, but it had a clean and nice atmosphere. The bartender was young and friendly, making it a great place for beginners to enjoy. They taught me a lot about ordering cocktails and the types of whiskey available. It's conveniently located near Namba Station (Exit 14) on the Midosuji Line, making it easy to use for a second round.

Standard point 2.0 is a bar near Dotonbori. It is on the 5th floor of a building, so you may not notice it even if you pass by the front street.
Key points:
1. The atmosphere inside the bar is very good.
2. They have a wide variety of Scotch whiskies.
3. Besides the counter, there are other seating options, making it a relaxed place.
Before visiting this bar, we had a meal at a famous okonomiyaki restaurant next door. Afterwards, we were looking for a nice bar and stumbled upon this place. The atmosphere was very particular about Scotch whiskies (I didn't talk much with the master, so I don't know the details). I had a straight whisky, and it had a smooth taste. I also tried Japanese whisky, which was delicious. It's interesting how the taste can vary depending on the person pouring it (and probably the storage environment). I wanted to have a leisurely conversation, so I'm glad I chose this place. I recommend this bar.

This is an authentic bar in Osaka's Minami area, so please note that I do not take photos. It is located in a hidden spot in a mixed-use building, about a 5-minute walk from Namba Station on the Midosuji Line. It's also close to Ebisu Bridge, but if you're coming from Midosuji, look for the Kinryu Ramen as a landmark. This used to be my go-to place when I lived in Osaka. They also host music events regularly. Similar to the related bar in Okayama, they also screen movies silently.
- Drinks: The master here has a preference for Glenmorangie, so if you don't have a preference, order a single malt straight or on the rocks. For the second drink, let them know what you've had today or your current mood, and they will make a cocktail tailored to that. They consider the season when making it.
- Food: How about some chocolate with whiskey or pizza with a long cocktail?
- Price range: There is a 500 yen charge. A drink costs around 1,000 yen, which is quite affordable for an authentic bar in Minami. The cost performance is excellent.
- Service: The service is very polite and will make you feel good. Well-known bars in Tokyo should learn from places like this.
- Cleanliness: The place is very well maintained and clean. Highly recommended as a good bar.

I visited on a regular night. It is located on the 5th floor of a mixed-use building. The interior is a calm atmosphere of a different world from the outside. The staff are all men, and the customers are mostly regulars, but even first-time visitors can receive proper service at this relaxing adult bar. I usually have two drinks for about 2000 yen. You can leave the shop feeling relaxed and tackle the next day's work with a fresh mindset. Why not visit once, thinking you might be surprised?

I visited this place that I've been curious about since last December. It's a bit hard to find, but once you do, it all makes sense. It's a great hidden gem location. Personally, I like it. I was introduced to it as similar to "BAR Kitada" in Okayama, so I was expecting a similar vibe, but it was a bit different. The layout is similar with a counter and box seats, suitable for both individuals and groups. The interior design is more Japanese compared to Kitada which has a French theme, as the name suggests. I really like the bartender. They seem to be stretching themselves a bit, but still genuine and honest. You can feel their strong beliefs, which shows good training from the owner. As for the drinks, there isn't a big standout feature like "fruit cocktails" or "Martinique rum," but the selection is well-rounded and caters to both casual drinkers and enthusiasts at reasonable prices. However, as a bit of a drinker myself, I wish there was a bit more unique flair to the place.

I was taken to a bar by a "sensei" who knows Minami inside out. The "sensei" is usually very critical of bars, so I was excited to see what this new place had to offer. The bar was located in a typical Minami building, so I was a bit skeptical at first. However, when I opened the door, I was pleasantly surprised by the stylish and high-quality interior. I ordered my usual cocktail and chatted with the "sensei" for about an hour. I didn't talk much with the bartender that day, but when I returned later, they greeted me by name and remembered my face. The cocktails I tried were delicious, and the bartender was able to incorporate my preferences into the drinks, as well as suggest new options for me to try. Despite their impressive skills, the bartender was very friendly and made me feel grateful for the experience. I can't wait to go back again!
