This shop seems to be run by the hotel we stayed at. They also serve a buffet breakfast at the hotel, but I felt like having just coffee and bread in the morning. After taking a short walk, we entered the shop as soon as it opened. There were other customers waiting as well, so it seems to be a popular place. The set includes two pieces of bread and a drink, but I really wanted to try the BLT, so I ignored the set and ordered a BLT and coffee separately. The bread itself was substantial and satisfying. I enjoyed my coffee slowly and left feeling satisfied.

After leaving Yukitei, I was immediately drawn in by the sight in front of me haha. I wonder if it's under the same management? The background is bustling with young girls at the Yotei Mountain Eat-In, and there are so many products displayed. I wonder if they really sell that much? They must be selling well (laughs). This is my second visit to this place. Last time, I couldn't take photos due to the company I was with, so I'm giving it another try. There are so many delicious-looking breads lined up here. You can also eat in, so shall we have lunch here? We had reserved seats, but when I asked my companion to pay and went back to our seats, there was an old lady with a cane sitting there. I explained that we had reserved the seats, but she didn't understand, so we had to change our plans to take-out. Well, you have to take care of the elderly, right? It might have been a scheme by my companion's daughter, who knows. Our plans changed, but we decided to eat in the parking lot of Reruhi Memorial Park. Oh, Reruhi Memorial Park... It was created in honor of Lieutenant Reruhi, who conducted the first full-fledged ski instruction in Japan. The restrooms are clean, so we use them quite often. In the car, so I can't take all the pictures, but here are some representative ones: fried horse mackerel and lamb jaga (potato salad) sandwich. Quite substantial. The fried horse mackerel, potato salad, and of course the bread were all delicious. The coffee was lightly bitter, with little acidity. Back at home, we had pizza and croissants. This bakery cafe opened on January 18th! Inside the store, there is a wide variety of delicious pastries ranging from croissants, hard bread, sandwiches, sweet bread, and savory bread. In the summer, there is a terrace where you can have lunch while enjoying the view of Niseko. This time, I bought croissants and other pastries, and also tried the takeout option of a strawberry parfait! The parfait had crispy toasted bread as a topping, with fluffy slices of bread inside, combined with soft serve ice cream, it tasted like eating honey toast! In addition to the parfait, they also have a cream puff topped with soft serve ice cream, which is also quite impressive!

Last month, I visited my relatives who live in Niseko and stopped by a newly opened bakery they told me about. The parking lot was under construction, so I parked at a nearby hotel and visited the bakery. The interior was bright and beautiful, with a spacious seating area. There were many delicious-looking breads on display, and after some deliberation, I bought five items. The salted butter roll was okay for the price. The croissant had a perfect appearance but lacked a strong buttery flavor. The wiener bread, a version of the bacon epi, was the most delicious of the bunch. The melon bread had a thin cookie crust and a fun shape, but considering the price, it was so-so. The fig ecmeck had plenty of figs, which I love. Overall, the atmosphere was nice, and I look forward to trying their pizza next time. Thank you, Moride!

I returned to the station from Kutchan by JR. I had about 30 minutes until the departure time, so I decided to visit a newly opened bakery called "Morideai" across from the First Hotel, which I saw on a flyer in the waiting room. The bakery had a stylish design with a large polar bear painted on the wall. The interior was bright and clean, with a section for dining in on the right side of the floor. All the bread was individually wrapped, and customers were required to sanitize their hands, wear disposable gloves, and use trays. I bought the "Mentaiko French Bread" for 180 yen, the "Walnut Ekmeck" for 250 yen, and the "Spinach Ciabatta" for 250 yen (all prices excluding tax). I paid using a machine, received my items, and hurried back to the station. I tasted each bread on the empty train. The Mentaiko French Bread was crispy and slightly salty, the Walnut Ekmeck had a delicate crust and a good texture with plenty of walnuts, and the Spinach Ciabatta had a soft white dough with a vibrant green color from the spinach, making it a good match for wine. However, I found it hard to distinguish between Focaccia and Ciabatta. Overall, the bread was not bad, but it lacked a certain authenticity that I was hoping for. It was a close call!

I'm in Kutchan town for work. It's my first time in Kutchan this winter, and the snow is really amazing! My companion wanted to try the snow udon, so we came to Daiichi Kaikan. There's a new bakery across the street. I have to come up with a reason to buy something from there! Oh, I don't have any photos of the exterior or anything because I can't take pictures due to my companion's schedule. The bakery seems to be part of the Daiichi Kaikan group. They use natural yeast and seem to specialize in hard bread. It's a bit on the pricey side. I bought a 5-slice loaf of bread for 350 yen, a croissant for 280 yen, and a square cream bread for 180 yen (excluding tax). The bread uses fresh cream, so it's a "luxury" bread. I lightly toasted the bread. It became crispy on the outside and soft inside. The croissant had a bit of a chewy texture and a slightly sweet and salty taste. The butter aroma was nice. As for the square cream bread, I cut it in half before taking a full picture, so it looks a bit empty. Taste-wise, it was just a normal cream bread. It was delicious. This is a newly opened shop in January this year. Today, I had the "Favorite Bread Set" in the eat-in space. You can choose two types of bread, and it comes with salad, soup, sausage, and yogurt drink for only 680 yen! It's a fantastic deal! The bread is also very delicious!!! In the morning, they sell bread baked the previous evening for only 100 yen. It's super cheap. The interior is also very nice and relaxing. Highly recommended!

The parfait was introduced so I went to try it. The size was very small... and the price was high... I probably won't go back again.

After a long time, I had Morideai's bread. The Bagel had the same generous portion, and the Pita bread was filled with lots of ingredients, it was delicious. The classic cream bread was also incredibly tasty.

Cream puffs are my favorite. Everything I tried was delicious. There are also new pastries available.

The pizza was outstandingly delicious. The soup curry was also delicious. I want to come back again.
