チリペッパ~
Fukuoka Gourmet Trip. I haven't tried motsunabe yet. I can't go back to Kyoto without trying authentic motsunabe. When I searched for motsunabe restaurants near Hakata Station, this shop came up. It's close to where I am. Let's go here. It's already lunchtime, so I hurried to the restaurant. I found it straight away when I went down the stairs towards Hakata Ichibangai underground from Hakata Station. It was around 11:50 am on a weekday, with 2 customers waiting. The restaurant was not full, so I thought I would be seated quickly and lined up behind them. After waiting for less than 5 minutes, I was led into the restaurant. My prediction was correct. I'm glad I didn't have to wait long. I sat at the counter and looked at the menu. There were set meals and lunch sets, but I ordered the simplest "Motsunabe Lunch Set for 1,408 yen". I chose miso soup and champon noodles for the finale. Although I was also tempted by the zosui. Each counter seat has an IH heater. It's exciting. It's great to be able to enjoy hot pot alone. After a while, the lunch set was brought to me. Wow, it looks luxurious. After receiving a detailed explanation, I was ready to eat. I waited for it to simmer. I adjusted the heater while eating the salad. When it was ready, I first tasted the soup. Ah, delicious. Choosing miso was the right decision. The melted flavor and fat of the motsu matched perfectly with it. The garlic also added a nice touch. By the way, for soy sauce flavor, you can choose whether to have garlic or not. Then I ate the motsu and vegetables with all my heart. The vegetables included cabbage, garlic chives, burdock, and bean sprouts. There was also tofu. The members were guilt-free even when I was full. The motsu had a firm texture. It was irresistible when the fat oozed out as I chewed. It was also delicious to add mentaiko to the soup for a change of taste. I left a little motsu and vegetables and added the champon for the finale. I wanted to eat it with the motsu and vegetables. The champon was already parboiled, so I just let it simmer lightly. It went perfectly with the soup. Ah, delicious. Zosui is good too, but I still prefer champon. I felt very satisfied after finishing it. It was delicious. Now I can go back to Kyoto. Next time, I want to try the soy sauce flavor. Of course, with garlic. By the time I left, there were several people waiting. Maybe because it's convenient being near the station. Thank you for the meal.
