It's not because I have a specific dish or drink in mind, but I occasionally find myself at a certain chain izakaya (Japanese pub) that I really like. The chain restaurant is one of my favorites! Another favorite of mine is izakaya food, right? (*ﾟ∀ﾟ*) Izakaya is the go-to place for me! They usually have all the classic dishes, so I never have trouble deciding what to order. I really like sashimi, so I appreciate the variety of options available.

This is a review of Uotami, a chain izakaya near Hakata Minami Station. The seating consists of small private rooms with sunken kotatsu tables, giving it a slightly stylish feel. The menu is similar to other izakayas, but what stood out was the tsukemen (cold ramen) I ordered last time, which came with an extra serving of noodles, a unique touch that felt very Fukuoka-like. Also, you can opt for all-you-can-drink alcohol (you may need to become a mobile member), which is great for those who, like me, enjoy drinking a lot.
