Today, I met up with a friend in the Temma area for a meal after a long time. For our second stop, we visited the popular Italian bar "Trattoria&BAR Deel" located in front of JR Temma Station, as per my friend's request. According to my friend, their "Jajang Pasta" is delicious and a favorite of theirs. While I have tried "Jajang noodles" before, "Jajang Pasta" was a new experience for me. "Jajang noodles" originate from Shandong Province, China, and are a popular dish in Korea, Taiwan, and Hong Kong, often appearing in Korean dramas. "Jajang Pasta" is a collaboration between this "Jajang noodles" and Italian cuisine, and I was excited to see how it turned out. The "Jajang Pasta" we ordered arrived with a dark sauce on top of the pasta, with shredded chili peppers, cucumber, and kaiware as toppings. It had quite a wild appearance. Additionally, cream and balsamic vinegar were provided for flavor variation. The staff at the restaurant kindly explained the delicious way to eat "Jajang Pasta". First, mix the sauce and pasta well with chopsticks and a spoon, then eat it as it is. The pasta used fresh noodles, giving it a chewy texture. The sauce was an original black miso-based sauce with plenty of chopped bacon, resembling a demiglace sauce. The sauce had a rich flavor that paired well with the chewy pasta, making it delicious. With plenty of bacon, it had a satisfying taste, complementing the alcohol well. Adding the provided cream for flavor variation made it creamier and more mellow, allowing for an enjoyable change in taste. Finally, adding balsamic vinegar made it fresher and more delicious. I finished the meal happily. When my friend first recommended "Jajang Pasta", I was honestly skeptical, but it turned out to be quite Italian in flavor and surprisingly delicious. This time, we visited as the second stop for drinks, but it would be great for lunch as well. I look forward to visiting again! Thank you for the meal!
