I discovered this shop at the Sogo Yokohama store's event space. I always buy something whenever I come here. I haven't visited the actual store yet, but I hope to do so someday. I bought some items at the Sogo Yokohama event this time as well, but they were sold out by early afternoon and there were no products left. Among them, my favorites are the two in the photo. The matcha melon bread with mochi inside and the Venetiana (seasonal limited edition peach flavor). The Venetiana is so fluffy and seriously amazing.

Kimuraya Pan in Osaka Tamade. Currently at the food fair in the basement of JR Nagoya Takashimaya. They start selling around 10:30, but there was already a long line at 10 o'clock. Since I lined up at Misenbetsu in Kokurayama-so on Saturday, I bought Kimuraya's Venetiana in the afternoon. I was lucky to get it around 3:00. The fluffy texture with orange flavor is as delicious as ever.

I visited takeout at 10:47. The shop is located under the elevated tracks of the Nankai Main Line. It is a vivid orange-colored shop right in front of the Tamade exit of Kishisato Tamade Station. ◆ Venetiana × 0.5.1st popular. Half... ◆ Cator Carl × 1. It seems to be a delicious cupcake, so... ◆ Cheese cake brioche × 1. I actually wanted to buy cream pain, but they are not making custard cream this season, so... Instead...

I was tempted by the sales pitch for the last box of Margareten~! at the Harukas event. Kimuraya was there selling melon bread, but the sweet biscuit dough is said to be sandwiched between the bread dough. Hmm... it's not bad, but I personally prefer melon bread with that sweet aroma of the dough being crispy and sprinkled with sugar. If you sandwich the dough between the bread, it ruins it! Margareten 248 yen.

I received a souvenir from a friend who came back from Kansai. They knew I liked cream bread, so they bought it for me. I am grateful. When I searched online, I found out that the bakery has a history dating back to the Meiji era. They have various famous breads besides cream bread. The custard cream was yellow and generously filled in the bread. I enjoyed it as a snack with coffee.

The part-time worker who had temporarily returned to his hometown in Osaka gave me a souvenir. I received star-shaped melon bread, cream bread, and strawberry milk bread. He had bought a lot of other things as well. The bread I received was these three types. I was wondering why the Osaka souvenir was bread, but it turns out his parents really like a certain bakery, so he was given a large amount of bread before leaving. The star-shaped melon bread was different from what I usually see, moist and not too sweet, without cookie dough on top. The cream bread was moist with a rich cream filling, and the texture of the almonds was nice. The strawberry milk bread seemed to have strawberries kneaded into the bread, with strawberry seeds here and there. It was moist and had a good richness of strawberry milk. I enjoyed them with coffee at home. Thank you for the meal.

After enjoying delicious udon, I came to this bakery the next morning in search of breakfast. It's conveniently located near the Nankai station. The bakery has a glass exterior and the inside is empty, so it seems like I can take my time browsing. They also have seating available for dining in. After careful consideration, I decided to purchase the following three items:
- Vienna Chocolate: A chocolate lover's dream with plenty of chocolate coating and custard cream inside. It's quite sweet.
- Condensed Milk Roll: I had this as a snack. Chilling it slightly made the condensed milk cream inside solidify nicely. It's also quite sweet with a fluffy texture.
- Curry Bread: A standard curry bread that was simply delicious. Toasting it made the outside crispy again.
My favorite was definitely the Vienna Chocolate. Thank you for the meal.

I purchased it at the JR Nagoya Takashimaya department store's basement where it is occasionally set up as a pop-up shop. There was a long line, and the Venetian is a popular choice. It was as light and fluffy as chiffon cake, with a crispy top surface like melon bread. The sugar, almonds, nuts, and biscuit toppings were delicious, and the orange peel added a nice texture and fragrance. The texture, flavor, and lightness were all great.

I purchased Venetiana before and it was delicious, so I bought it again. They happened to have a store at Nagoya Takashimaya, so I bought it without hesitation. The staff, including the Osaka "old man" (compliment), provided a great explanation and service. The Venetiana was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, with orange peel adding a nice accent. I couldn't stop eating it. The muffin, which I had the next day and warmed up for 10 seconds as per the old man's recommendation, was also delicious. It had a rich flavor due to the Calpis butter used, and the sweetness was just right. I definitely want to come back.

I used it on my way to lunch from Kariyamaide Station. The Hankyu Umeda main store event has a store clerk who gives a good impression of being good at business, but the main store was quiet. Veneziana 1144 yen Panettone dough is sprinkled with orange peel, cookie peel, and waffle sugar, making it sweet like a snack. If you don't mind the calories, you can eat as much as you want because it's light. It's delicious to eat occasionally.

I got off at Kishiwada Station to go eat Radio-Yaki and saw a bright orange bakery near the exit, so I made a little detour. It was around 1:20 PM on a Saturday, and there were no other customers in the store. I was interested in the "Original Custard Cream Bread" on the flyer at the storefront, but it was sold out. What a shame! It seems like other breads were also sold out at this time, so they must be popular. I ended up buying the following:
- Italian Custard Cream Doughnut (281 yen): The sugar glaze was drizzled on the moist dough, and it had custard cream, sliced pear, and a bit of chocolate inside. The sweetness on the surface was nice, and the custard cream was not too sweet, which was delicious.
- Condensed Milk Roll (238 yen): The soft roll bread was filled with plenty of condensed milk cream all the way to the edge. The butter flavor was abundant and tasty.
I couldn't find any savory bread, but it seems like the store mainly focuses on sandwich bread and sweet bread. Thank you for the meal!

Isetan Shinjuku Food Stage from June 8th (Wednesday) to June 14th (Tuesday). There was a bakery called Tamade Kimuraya, so I decided to buy some bread from there. They use only butter in their bread, no margarine at all. The Veneziana I bought this time is their most popular item. There was also a limited edition Veneziana with peach and pineapple, but I was intrigued by the coconut-like topping on it, so I opted for the regular Veneziana. It was loaded with orange peel, topped with sugar and almonds. It had a moist panettone-like texture. I would definitely consider buying it again if I have the chance. Veneziana (half) @572 yen.

I saw the Kimuraya store at the depachika of JR Nagoya Takashimaya after a long time. I bought Venetiana orange peel, limited edition red tea in a half size, custard cream bun, quatre quarts, condensed milk roll, and maple nuts. It was surprising that the total for the pastries came to 3800 yen. The gift was well received.

2Deux from the Kimura family, who were at a event at Hankyu Department Store, are really good at sales. They skillfully used terms like "limited edition" to grab my attention, and I ended up buying a custard cream bun and a huge Venetiana. The custard cream bun had a classic cream bun taste, while the Venetiana had a sugar, almond, and hazelnut biscuit texture that nut lovers would enjoy. The dough had orange slices in it, making it fluffy inside. I thought more orange flavor would be nice, so I had it with marmalade. The Kimura family seems to attend various events, and I had a great meal.
- Custard cream bun: 162 yen
- Venetiana (round): 1,037 yen

I am "Noronori," who mainly walks around eating lunch, mainly in Sakai. I found it while walking through Tamade Shopping Street. Everyone in Osaka knows Kimuraya's bread! I wondered what kind of bread they have, so I went in. There was an eat-in space, but I was told, "It's until 2 o'clock," when it was 2 o'clock. Too bad! The bread is in bags, with a few types lined up, one or two of each. I'm not sure if that's normal, if they're just sold out, or if they display it that way. I bought a gratin bread. It had sausage inside, but no gratin taste. It was delicious though. Thank you for the meal.

In Osaka, there is a popular bakery called "Veneziana," known for their signature bread called "Veneziana." It was too big for me to buy this time, so I opted for the "Stone-baked Sweet Potato Bread" and the "Cinnamon Roll" instead. Both were delicious, but I highly recommend the Cinnamon Roll. The Stone-baked Sweet Potato Bread is also great for a 3 o'clock snack. The bread from this bakery is really tasty. Some might say it's obvious that a bakery should have tasty bread, but it's actually quite difficult to achieve that basic element, and this bakery has nailed it.

Kumamoto Tsuruya's specialty was sold at the National Ekiben Festival. Cream pan sold in Tamade, Osaka. 150 yen + tax. The bread dough is moist with a slightly rich custard cream. It might have been even more delicious if it was freshly baked.

Umeda's Hankyu Department Store had a special event featuring famous Japanese sweets. I tried the Venetiana, which the staff said is enough for two people if you split it in half. But if there are three people, one piece won't be enough. They mentioned that when this store opens in Tokyo, there is usually a long wait, which makes me want to buy it even if I didn't plan to. The Venetiana was delicious, with a fluffy dough filled with orange slices and topped with crispy almonds and hazelnuts. I could easily eat a whole one by myself. I also tried the Margariten, which was described as a bread with cookie dough wrapped around it. However, it didn't seem very different from a regular bread. I also found the mascarpone bread intriguing. Overall, it was a satisfying experience!

Visited the long-established bakery "Tamade Kimuraya 2Deux" founded in Meiji 39. I've always loved this place, but since their hours are weekdays from 8:30 to 15:00, I haven't been able to visit much since becoming a working adult. Recently, they also opened a branch at Takashimaya Osaka, so I sometimes stop by when I'm in Namba. The shop is located right in front of the Tamade side ticket gate at Nankai Electric Railway Kirisato Tamade Station. Of course, I had to get their popular item since the founding days, the "Sake-kasu Anpan" (red bean paste) (141 yen). The subtle aroma of koji and the mildly sweet red bean paste always draw me back for more. And I also made sure to get the number one favorite, the "Veneziana (half)" (519 yen). The unique flavor of Panettone starter combined with orange peel, hazelnuts, and almonds is a perfect match. I also bought the seasonal limited edition roll Danish that has been gaining popularity recently. This time it's the "White Peach Roll Danish" (216 yen), but I also tried the "Strawberry Roll Danish" before, which was also incredibly delicious. It's more like a cake than bread. This time I only got three types, but they have many other exquisite bread like the "Custard Cream Pan" (216 yen) and the "Cattleya" (216 yen) with the amazing flavor of milk and the aroma of butter. If you haven't tried it yet, I highly recommend it. #Tamade #bread #TamadeKimuraya

In May 2021, at Nagoya Mitsukoshi, I tried a matcha roll danish for ¥216 and a cat's ear pastry for ¥216. I was swayed by the lively talk of an old man speaking Kansai dialect and ended up buying them, but I regretted not buying more after tasting how delicious they were. The matcha roll danish had sweet red bean paste mixed with matcha, wrapped in danish pastry, creating an interesting combination of danish and roll cake textures. It didn't feel like bread with the addition of sweet red bean paste. The matcha flavor was limited edition. Last month, it was strawberry. The cat's ear pastry had a nice buttery taste. By the way, the old man mentioned that his pastries are a bit pricey because he uses butter, while cheaper shops use margarine. He greeted regular customers warmly and his wife was surprised by the large quantity of pastries they bought with a smile (laughs).
