It's located in a slightly hard-to-find place. You need courage to enter. The inside of the shop is dimly lit, with a calm atmosphere and one-hit wonder records playing. There is a counter and a small table, both for standing only. They serve wine, galettes, and sweets. As you can see in the photos, the galettes are authentic. The red wine and the galette were delicious! The dessert had a generous amount of rum and was served with vanilla ice cream, truly a dessert for adults. Standing and drinking can get tiring, but it was a great shop. ☺️

Entered around 20:30 for the second time, no customers before. The atmosphere is still moody and adult-like. It was my first time going with someone else, so we sat at a table by the river. I usually end up eating a galette, but today my stomach was feeling good, so I finally got to have the pudding and wine! The pudding was lightly sweet, firm and just the way I like it. The caramel was very bitter and incredibly delicious. The first glass was a cute, fresh red with a very cute impression. The second glass had a unique, strong scent like leather, a surprising Pinot! The third glass was white, but my memory is a bit fuzzy... Thank you for the meal!

On the second visit, the courage to open the door is about 80% less compared to the last time. Still, not knowing what's inside makes my hand hesitate a little before turning the doorknob... but... here we go!!! There are two other customers, each enjoying their time. I wanted orange wine, but they didn't have it, so I opted for a white wine and was recommended two types of Alsace wine. I chose a pet-nat to feel refreshed after walking in the heat. When I looked at the galette menu, my heart leaped at the sight of "lentils." I ordered the lentil, cheese, and tomato galette with extra fresh tomatoes. It was delicious, slightly spicy, and paired well with the pet-nat. For the second drink, I had a red wine from the Rhone region of France, which was a bit heavier and suited my taste. I wanted another drink even after finishing my meal, so I tried a different Alsace wine, which felt lighter and more refreshing compared to the first one. I didn't get to try the baked goods this time, so I'll make some adjustments next time to ensure I can. Overall, it's a wonderful restaurant, as I confirmed once again. On my way back, I noticed a sign halfway up Honmachi Bridge. It's strange that I only noticed it on my way back, as it's more noticeable on the way there. It's quietly impressive! Thank you for the delicious meal.

First, it takes courage to open the door as you can't see inside. Upon mustering up the courage and opening the door, the interior of the shop was dimly lit, with the pleasant sound of records playing in the background. I ordered a ham and cheese galette with a side of white wine. The white wine had a deep flavor and was very delicious. The galette took a bit of time to be served, but I was informed of this in advance and enjoyed my wine while waiting. After about 20 minutes, the galette arrived, topped generously with cherry tomatoes and capers. Although I accidentally injured the corner of my mouth on the galette, it was very tasty and paired perfectly with the white wine. The overall atmosphere, combined with the delicious food and wine, made for a luxurious and relaxing experience. The laid-back demeanor of the shop owner also added to the pleasant ambiance. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

I found this wine stand on Instagram and was curious about it. The counter is lined with baked goods, including galettes which are their specialty. The master bakes them carefully right in front of you. On this day, I had a glass of white Patapon (2018) and red Terroir de Littoral (2017). They mainly offer Bordeaux, Burgundy, and Champagne wines, with unique and cute labels. I enjoyed sipping on wine while eating galettes. The wine went down smoothly. The quiet master even spoke to me as I was leaving, which made me happy. I'll have to go back next time to try other baked goods and wines.

Visited in August 2020. On a business trip to Osaka, I arranged to meet up with a friend I hadn't seen in a while. Our first stop was a standing bar where we could enjoy galettes, baked sweets, and natural wine. My friend has great taste, so I was really looking forward to it. When we arrived at the shop and stepped inside, we were greeted by the pleasant sound of bossa nova music, creating a very wine bar-like atmosphere. Behind the counter was the master, calmly managing the shop by himself while providing excellent service. It turns out that this master is a former pastry chef, so the sweets are quite authentic. He is also very knowledgeable about natural wines and will offer various recommended wines for the day if you ask. For my first drink, I tried a lightly sparkling "Obi Wine Keno Buul N.V/Frederic Gessler" from Alsace, France. It's a blend of Pinot Auxerrois, Muscat, and Riesling with a refreshing effervescence and a nice balance of acidity and umami flavors. Perfect for a hot day. We paired it with carrot rapé and cake salad. The crispy galette with tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, and capers was also a hit. The texture and flavor balance were excellent, especially when paired with the wine. For my second drink, I tried an orange wine from Emilia-Romagna, Italy. The "Elijo Bianco 2018/Maria Boltrotti" is made from a local Sauvignon Blanc variety, offering a gentle aroma and tropical notes. We also enjoyed some nougat with nuts as a snack with the wine. In addition to these, there were baked sweets and pudding available, making for a very satisfying experience. It seems that many customers come here for the sweets, so if you're interested, I recommend coming early. The popular pudding tends to sell out quickly. The selection of sweets may vary each day, so it's a good idea to check on Instagram before visiting. Indulge in the master's galettes, baked sweets, and natural wines for a truly enjoyable experience!

Cake salé, ham, lapé, and other light appetizers are available at this wine stand, which is cash only. They offer a wide variety of Japanese, French, and cider-like wines. The Diamond Tone speakers showcase the owner's attention to detail. The atmosphere feels like stepping into a small alley in Paris. I would definitely like to visit again.

Today, I visited a Chinese restaurant in Tanimachi 4-chome for a New Year's event hosted by a famous producer and a well-known Feng Shui master. The event mainly served beer, so I felt like having a glass of wine afterwards. I went to No.2, a place known for its sweets and alcohol, after the event. I arrived at 9:30 PM and was greeted by the friendly master. There were two other customers already there. I asked if they had pudding, but unfortunately, they were sold out. So, I decided to have a glass of Gamay wine and ordered their lemon cake and a chocolate cake-like dessert. The natural Gamay wine was smooth and easy to drink, the lemon cake was refreshing, and the chocolate cake was a bit rich. The master seemed cool but was actually very kind. It was a perfect place for quietly enjoying a drink. Thank you for the delicious meal.

This day, after a banquet at The St. Regis Osaka, I felt like having a few more drinks, so S-san escorted me to this place. I had been curious about this place for a while. - - - [Interior] - - - From the window inside the restaurant, you can see Honmachi Bridge and the water surface. The day I visited, a pleasant autumn breeze entered the restaurant, which was nice. The interior is standing style, where you order at the counter (not cash on). I had a glass of red wine that day, but I don't remember much (laughs). I must be getting weak. The night breeze was nice, but as an over 50s woman, I remember that standing became a bit tough from the middle because I was wearing high heels that day. Okay, next time I'll visit during the daytime to enjoy wine while feeling the sunlight. Sorry, my review is quite shallow. *********************** Solo female experience ♥♥♥♥♥ Willingness to revisit ★★★★☆ ***********************

Recently, whenever I feel like having some wine, I come to this restaurant. After enjoying lamb Genghis Khan at the lamb meat restaurant muu, I visited here. I started with a recommended white wine, then moved on to a light red wine followed by a richer one. I don't know much about wine, but all the wines recommended here are delicious. The main dish is a galette, but they also have a variety of baked goods. The pudding is especially delicious and can be considered a specialty. The master humbly described the food as something like home cooking, but he can create a variety of dishes with a small oven. Unfortunately, the pudding was sold out this time, so I tried a recommended baked good made with chestnuts. It was called "Ardéchois" for 450 yen. I later found out that it is a baked good named after a famous chestnut-producing region in France. The chestnuts used in the shop are from Italy. It is a simple baked good with no unnecessary ingredients, but the flavor of butter and the sweetness of chestnuts stand out. This flavor goes really well with wine, especially red wine. The astringency of tannins and chestnuts go really well together. [In conclusion], I like the casual and relaxed atmosphere here, so I have been using it quite often lately. It feels calming. You can have a proper meal, but it's also nice to have some wine and snacks while enjoying the baked goods that go well with wine. Today's bill came to 2950 yen. Thank you for the meal.

I was already full after the first place, but I really wanted to eat pudding at the second place, so I walked towards it! It's a shop on the first floor along the river. The owner used to be a pastry chef, so it's a sweets and organic wine stand that girls love. My goal was the pudding, so I tried to confirm if they had it in advance, but couldn't find a phone number. I tried messaging on Instagram but got no reply. The shop seemed open, so I went there anyway. And the first thing I asked when I got there was, "Do you have pudding?" They did have it! The dream pudding! It was firmer than I expected. The caramel sauce had a bitterness to it, and the pudding itself was not too sweet. It paired well with red wine. It was amazing! I'm glad I came to Osaka. After this, I went to the third place, North Ham Dyna, and then returned to my accommodation. 😂

This is a wine stand No.2 along the Tokiwa-bori River in Sakaisuji-Honmachi, offering natural wines, galettes, and sweets. The interior is standing-room only with no chairs, but surprisingly spacious with a view of the river. On this day, I tried the cake salé and three glasses of wine. I also wanted to try their famous pudding next time. It's a unique concept for a shop, but it creates a nice atmosphere. The dim lighting gives a French-like ambiance, making it feel like you're in France. It was a great experience at this wine stand.

[May 2019 Revisit] Last time I had the main galette here, but according to regulars, this place is also good for baked goods and pudding. I love pudding, so after having a light meal at another shop, I decided to visit here again after a while. I arrived around 8 pm on a weekday. There were few customers, so I easily took a seat at the counter. Carefully considering the menu board and the baked goods displayed in front of me, I chose two items. Since there was no wine list, I decided to go with the red wine recommended by the owner and had two glasses. ・Pudding 550 yen A dark caramel sauce drizzled over a rich yellow pudding. The French-inspired appearance looked really delicious. The pudding itself was rich in egg flavor and slightly firm. The combination of this solid body with the bittersweet caramel sauce was exquisite. This pudding experience ranks quite high on my list of favorites. It goes really well with red wine. ・Bread Forte 300 yen I was expecting a crispy texture, but when I took a bite, it had a caramel-like firm stickiness. The dough was dense, more like a paste than a baked good, with a unique chewy texture. It might be similar to yubeshi. -----------------------------------------[In conclusion] Visiting for the pudding was a great decision. The pudding here is really delicious. I would recommend it even to those who are not fans of pudding. Pairing pudding with wine is quite a good idea. Sweets can definitely complement wine well. The total bill for today was around 2500 yen per person. Thank you for the meal.

Today, I went to a members-only standing gyoza bar in Honmachi and enjoyed some Haramin and sashi drinking. The gyoza place had negative reviews on Tabelog, so I decided not to review it. Since I was having Haramin and sashi drinking, I felt like going a bit further. The goal was Haramin's stronghold, Higashiyoko-borigawa. First, I stopped by a wine bar for a quick standing drink at No.2. The atmosphere inside the shop was quite adult-like. After walking quite a bit, I opted for a refreshing white wine. Cheers! This shop offers galettes and regular wine pairings, but since I had gyoza earlier, I chose something from the sweets world in front of me, Haramin. Here's what I had: Food: - Pudding 550 yen - Panforte 350 yen Drinks: - Dry Franken Bacchus Muller-Thurgau Silvaner around 1100 yen - Michel Guignier Granit around 1200 yen Dry Franken Bacchus Muller-Thurgau Silvaner is a white wine from the Franken region in Germany. It has high acidity, but it smoothly penetrates the throat. It's a perfect white wine for a slightly warm night. Pudding here is seriously delicious. It has a firm texture with strong egginess. The caramel sauce has a hint of red wine elements. It goes well with wine. Michel Guignier Granit is a red wine from the Beaujolais region of France. It has a scent of wild strawberries and roses, with a smooth and easy-to-drink sensation. It's a natural wine. The slight sweetness and gentle tannins complement the caramel of the pudding. Panforte has a very sticky texture with a nutty aroma and considerable sweetness. It feels like it could dislodge a filling. Truly indulgent. It's no wonder that I wanted to revisit a place that Haramin had in mind. Who knew that wine could be enjoyed with pudding like this. Now, let's move on to the next shop. Thank you for the meal!

I'm feeling nervous at my first visit to an adult hideaway bar, a wine bar. A stylish woman with short hair and bold earrings casually swings by alone, orders a glass of white wine, enjoys a little conversation, and then leaves smoothly. So cool~ ♡ She chose two wines for me, both paired well with the galette and were delicious.

Casual standing sake bar -> sake standing bar, then I wanted to go sit down and have some wine, but the place I was checking out changed to a different one. Oh no. Searched for a wine bar from my current location and found one just across the street. So, let's go explore. It was located in a building a little south of Honmachi Street on the east side of the Higashiyokobori side. Honestly, it's not easy to enter... but let's go in! And it was the right decision! However, this place is also standing only, so on this day, it was three consecutive standing bars. It's a spacious place, with two round tables on the counter and by the window. There's plenty of empty space, making it quite relaxed. Outside the window is a river. Background music is played on a record player. The counter is also spacious. Since it was my first time at this place, I decided to try the recommended glass of wine. BulleHitNV Domaine des Dimanches. The label features Steve McQueen. This place is said to be a natural wine bar, although the country is not specified. Also, the master seems to be a former confectioner, so it seems to be a shop for sweets and wine. On the counter, there are homemade sweets that go well with wine. The "Baguette" is not French bread, but a biscuit. It's slightly sweet and moist. It tastes like melon bread. A customer who came later bought all of them as souvenirs. That customer was eating pudding while drinking wine. It's that kind of place. In addition, there are cakes on the counter. Far Breton, a traditional confection from the Brittany region of France. Lemon cake would also go well with wine! The red wine, an organic Syrah, has a slightly sweet taste. It's like a rosé. And when I looked closely, there was a menu for galettes. There are two round griddles for making crepes at the back of the counter. So, I tried the galette for the first time. The classic ham, cheese, and egg galette for 1200 yen. It takes time for the gas griddle to heat up. They carefully monitored the temperature while dropping water droplets. The cheese is grated by hand using a grater. Truly artisanal! The galette was filling, so it was a bit of a challenge, but I finished it. It's a hidden gem where you can relax and listen to music in a nice atmosphere. They even said it's okay to bring your own chair. Interesting. Later, when I reread the special feature on the Higashiyokobori River in meets, I found that it was actually featured on one of the earlier pages. meets really has a keen eye.

Located a short walk from Sakaisuji-Honmachi, this hidden gem of a restaurant might be easy to miss if you're not looking carefully. They serve galettes and wine, creating an atmosphere that may seem a bit intimidating at first. However, once you overcome that initial hurdle, you'll find a serene ambiance to enjoy. I chose the galette with minced meat and cheese, which is said to take some time to prepare. While waiting, I enjoyed their homemade ham and a glass of wine. The quiet owner skillfully prepares the galettes, and you can relax while gazing out at the river through the window. The galette was quite large and satisfying on its own. To finish off, I indulged in some of the baked goods displayed on the counter before heading home. I look forward to trying out more of their menu in the future. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

【Overall】Located about a 5-minute walk from Sakaisuji Hommachi Station in Osaka, this wine stand is tucked away on the ground floor of a building along the Higashi-Yokobori River. The alley where the building is situated is quite hidden from the main street, giving it a cozy and hidden gem vibe. While there is no wine list or prices displayed, you can expect to pay around 700 yen per glass. Simply let the owner know your taste preferences, and he will pick out a wine for you. The menu features mainly galettes, along with baked goods and light French dishes that pair well with wine. Everything is made in-house. It's a relaxed and enjoyable place to casually enjoy wine without any pretense. ----------------------------------------- Located about a 5-minute walk from Sakaisuji Hommachi Station, this wine stand is tucked away in a hidden alley along the Higashi-Yokobori River under the Hanshin Expressway. It's a bit off the beaten path, and you might miss it if you don't notice the small sign on the street. The interior has a stylish wooden decor with a counter and a round table stand corner. The background music is acoustic guitar. Through the glass, you can see the Higashi-Yokobori River, providing a nice ambiance. The owner runs the place alone and describes it as a "creperie" rather than a wine bar. The menu mainly consists of various galettes and baked goods, along with light French dishes that pair well with wine. There is no wine list, so you can choose between white or red and communicate your preferences to the owner for a personalized selection. Prices range from 700 yen to 1500 yen per glass. I ordered a galette and a light dish, along with two glasses of white wine and one glass of red wine. ・Poireau Vinaigrette 450 yen Sliced white leeks soaked in a French vinegar-based dressing. The leeks are moist and served cold. It's a straightforward dish highlighting the leeks, which pairs well with the acidity of the dressing and wine. ・Complet 1200 yen Homemade ham, egg, and cheese galette (crepe made with buckwheat flour) topped with capers. The galette has a crispy and fragrant texture, with a generous amount of filling. It's a versatile dish that can be enjoyed as a meal or paired with wine. ----------------------------------------- 【Final Thoughts】Despite its hidden location, the owner is friendly and willing to provide recommendations. The casual atmosphere welcomes solo female diners as well. While it's a stand-style setup, the cozy ambiance makes it easy to linger. The other customers were all stylish, unlike myself. The total bill for today came to 4900 yen. Thank you for the meal.

I didn't expect the galette to be this delicious. The other dishes like the carrot salad and buffalo mozzarella salad, as well as the desserts, were all delicious too. The variety of wines at Vannatul is extensive, and you can really taste the fermentation! It's interesting and addictive. The friendly owner kindly explains everything without any hint of rudeness. They also have a good selection of Japanese sake, and the fermentation process is excellent in those as well.
