"Namba Takashimaya 3F has a cafe called 'Cafe Kiefer Poisson'! It's a beautiful and stylish cafe with a great atmosphere. The seats at the back with red sheets are perfect for Instagram-worthy photos! Although I was there just for a drink this time, they also have a good selection of food. It's a great place for a break during shopping or for a date."

I went as soon as the store opened. There are four pairs of seats with a view of the escalator at Nankai Namba Station directly in front of you. The view from here is amazing. I went with two male colleagues and we talked about work, but I think it would be nice to go as a couple. The scenery with people moving around is not boring and I don't think you will get bored.

It had been a while since I went to lunch with my mother at Takashimaya. We were undecided on where to eat, but we found this restaurant with few customers, so we were able to enjoy a leisurely lunch. I ordered half of a doria dish, which came with a sandwich on the side. I ended up eating the whole sandwich as well. When you're dining with your mother, it's hard to resist eating more! Also, they offered free refills on iced coffee, which was a delightful service. 😊

I was tired from walking and happened to come across a lovely cafe with a nice open balcony seat facing the station stairs. It feels very relaxing here. I ordered a mixed sandwich set and you can get a refill for iced coffee.

I always go to a tea shop with my mother. Today, we went for breakfast. The breakfast menu had a choice of hotcakes or sandwiches. I couldn't decide, so I chose the sandwich. Sandwiches at cafes are always delicious. For my drink, since it's getting colder, I had hot tea.

When I come here, I always order the fillet cutlet sandwich, but this time I tried the lunch set. The type of gratin was already decided, and the tomato flavor with vegetables was light and delicious. The sandwich was just average. The portion size was quite generous. I think I would have preferred the usual cutlet sandwich. It's not too crowded, so it's nice to be able to relax.

In Namba Takashimaya, there is a cafe that caught my eye from the escalator of Nankai Namba Station. I ordered pancakes with banana and chocolate, which came in a set of 5 and tasted delicious. It was a cafe where you could spend a relaxing time inside the department store.

During the July holidays, I dropped off my sister at our parents' house and then wandered around Namba with my partner. We had lunch at this place in Takashimaya, where despite the hustle and bustle outside, it was surprisingly calm. It was peak hours but there were still empty seats, and the clientele was on the higher end and quiet. We ordered the lunch set, which included a Margherita Doria and coffee, as well as a Toast Clubhouse Sandwich and coffee. The Doria was piping hot and seasoned just right, served in a large dish. The Clubhouse Sandwich was juicy with chicken thigh and bacon, very satisfying. The coffee, a blend roasted in-house, was also good. However, the prices here are definitely on the higher side, as expected in a department store setting.

I went to Takashimaya with a friend for lunch. It was my first visit. I always wondered where the cafe in front of the escalator down from Nankai Namba Station ticket gate was, and now I found out it was this place. The inside of the cafe was relatively empty, but the seats facing the station were full. We sat at a table towards the back, and I ordered a mini parfait with matcha and vanilla ice cream and red beans. As I was eating, the staff informed us that seats outside had become available, so we moved there. The staff was very friendly and brought us new wet towels and water after we moved. It was a relaxed atmosphere where we ended up chatting for a while.

This is a café located at the back of the women's clothing section at Takashimaya Osaka. I ordered the fruit pancake, opting for 5 pieces since the price was the same for 3-5 pieces. The pancake was thin, but not too sweet thanks to the light cream topping. I also ordered Assam tea, which was served in a pot with a generous amount for about 2.5 cups in a tea cup. Assam tea is usually enjoyed with milk, but I decided to drink it straight. It was smooth and easy to drink, without any bitterness. Address: 5-1-5 Namba, Chuo-ku, Osaka, Takashimaya 3F.

When I go shopping at Takashimaya, I often stop by for lunch. This has happened a few times now. My go-to order is always the katsu sandwich. It has a thick cutlet that is freshly made and very satisfying to eat. It comes with potato chips on the side, which is a nice touch. The drink choices vary, but they are usually just average. The hot coffee is free refill, which is a nice perk. There are seats where you can watch people coming down from Namba Station, which adds to the experience. It's easy to go in alone and it's a good place to take a break or have a light meal.

Keyfel is a cafe located on the 3rd floor of Takashimaya that opened last year. The interior is spacious and has a sophisticated atmosphere. They use Ronnefeldt tea, and offer a variety of sweets including cakes and dessert plates. I ordered a simple roll cake and black tea set. Despite the lack of customers, the service was extremely slow, and when my tea finally arrived, they informed me that the cake I ordered was sold out. I ended up just having the tea, which was just average black tea. I was disappointed with the experience, especially considering the high prices.

Saturday 16:00, party of 2, no reservation, came to have tea. There was one person waiting ahead of us, so we were unsure if we would have to wait a long time. However, soon the person ahead of us was seated, and we were called in right away. Lucky! The seat we were given was a premium one - a red sofa for two! The front was glass, allowing us to overlook the distant space (not feeling like we were being watched from the other side). Lovely! Being able to sit in such a wonderful seat by chance was super lucky. I'm so happy! There is an acrylic board for infection prevention on the table between the two of us. There is no bell, and since it's the furthest seat, it might take some timing to call a staff member. I ordered Ronnefeldt's Assam barry. It was a lucky encounter with Ronnefeldt's tea! Served in a pot (they even bring the teapot cover). There were about 2.5 cups. We had a wonderful time chatting leisurely in this lovely space. Thank you for the fantastic time. It was a lucky day!

There is a popular café located in a hard-to-find spot at the back of the 3rd floor women's clothing section of Takashimaya. There is always someone sitting on the waiting chairs, even though it is tucked away. If you sit on the sofa at the very back, you can see people coming down the escalator from the central ticket gate of Nankai Namba Station. It's a great spot for people-watching. The prices are on the higher side, typical of a department store café. I recommend ordering the Berry Parfait, which has a good balance of tart berries like blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, kiwi, and oranges, with lightly sweetened cream and ice cream. The parfait is full of fruits and cream, with just the right amount of cornflakes. The Keyfel Blend Coffee is a bit pricey compared to regular cafes, but they offer free refills, so it's worth it. I had it black and enjoyed the strong bitterness, aroma, and richness. My companion ordered the pancakes, which were thin and fluffy. We chose the option of 5 pancakes, and they were devoured quickly. The café is located at 5-1-5 Namba, Chuo-ku, Osaka, on the 3rd floor of Osaka Takashimaya.

On a Saturday at 5pm (during a fireworks festival), I wandered into a restaurant looking for something to eat. The window seats were full, but there were plenty of empty sofa seats, and I was seated right away. The staff in their uniforms were cute, and their service was efficient and elegant. They took my order promptly and with a lovely smile, and they didn't make me feel uncomfortable with their gaze. The restaurant was spacious, which may have contributed to the comfortable distance between tables. The Assam tea I ordered had a smooth taste and a lingering finish, making it easy to drink. It was delicious, and I appreciated the skill in its preparation. I also ordered the most basic pancakes, where you can choose between 3 to 5 pieces for the same price. I was surprised by the option and asked a clumsy question about the portion size, but the staff kindly explained that 3 pieces would be just right for a woman. Since I hadn't eaten lunch, I ordered 4 pieces, which turned out to be just the right amount. The pancakes were fluffy, not too sweet, and easy to eat. The syrup was a bit generous, but not overwhelming, and I thought a little more whipped cream would have been nice. Despite the slightly higher price, the satisfaction of the meal was worth it. I would definitely come back for a leisurely meal in the future.

Cafe on the 3rd floor of Osaka Takashimaya. Located in the back of the women's clothing section, it gives off a vibe of being popular among female customers. The interior has table seating and sofa seating. The 2-person sofa seats face a glass window, offering a view of the stairs/escalator outside. The lower part of the glass window is frosted for privacy. It's recommended for those who don't mind being seen. The table seating includes 2-person and 4-person options, allowing for a relaxed atmosphere. I ordered the "cake set" and chose a chestnut cake (forgot the name). It was lightly sweet and fluffy, very delicious. The coffee is refillable and has a mild taste, easy to drink. The cake set is priced at 1390 yen, which is on the higher side, but considering the good location, refillable coffee, and comfortable atmosphere, it's worth it. I had a long conversation and enjoyed my time there. It was a tasty experience. Thank you for the meal.

I took my mother to Minami for a special occasion! It can be tricky to find a quiet place for lunch with parents' generation. So, I decided to try this place! Luckily, we got a nice sofa seat by the window. It was enjoyable to watch people and the street outside. I had a mixed sandwich for lunch, which was a bit on the pricey side, but the tea came in a pot and we could drink plenty of it, so we could relax even after eating! It was a quiet and pleasant time, and I would love to go back again.

When you exit the central ticket gate at Nankai Namba Station and go down the large staircase, you'll see a glass-walled cafe space above you. Customers sitting on red sofas are facing this way, enjoying their tea. I wanted to try sitting there and watch people coming in and out of the station, so I visited this cafe. While waiting for a window seat, the staff handed me the menu and engaged in friendly conversation. The cakes may look ordinary, but they are all priced at 830 yen each. I thought it was a bit pricey, but when you order a cake set, you get a pot of Ronnefeldt tea for 1390 yen. This price seems reasonable for a department store cafe. Finally, I got the coveted sofa seat. It was comfortable and relaxing, and observing people coming and going was quite entertaining. The hot Darjeeling tea was delicious, with a smooth taste. They even provided a tea cozy to keep it warm. The tea cup was easy to hold. The pistachio cake was also tasty, not overly sweet with a strong pistachio flavor in the mousse and a moist sponge. I later found out that this cafe is part of a chain, but each location has its own unique characteristics. I really liked this cafe and will definitely visit again.
