The store has been around for a few years, but on 9/8, when the MUJI area at Grand Front expanded, Mujimiru also underwent a renewal. The interior of the store is quite spacious, with ample seating space, making it a relaxing place to spend time. The store opens at 11 am, but you can only order from the cafe menu after 2 pm. The seasonal limited parfait and the limited quantity tiramisu are quite popular, often selling out around 4 pm. On this day, the tiramisu was sold out just before my order, so I ended up having the pudding and coffee. The pudding actually has three layers - a crispy caramel brulee on top, a fluffy custard in the middle, and a dense pudding-like texture at the bottom. Both layers have different flavors and textures, making it a delightful treat. Additionally, you can enjoy the change in taste by drizzling coffee syrup on top. I also ordered coffee as a set, but the recommended place to enjoy coffee is at MUJI Coffee on the 3rd floor. This shop offers single-origin coffees from 7 countries for only 300 yen, and they roast the coffee on-site, making it a high-quality experience. Although there are no tables, only benches, some people buy MUJI's baumkuchen and have a little cafe experience. The exquisite pudding and coffee from MUJI were a treat. Thank you!

On September 19, 2023 (Tuesday) around 2:00 pm, I had lunch with my daughter and grandson (1 year and 5 months old) at MUJI Grand Front store. We searched for a restaurant with a baby chair where we could relax, and decided to visit this newly renovated MUJI store at Grand Front North Building 4th floor. There were 5 groups of customers ahead of us, so we waited for about 20 minutes. We were seated at a spacious 4-person table in the back of the restaurant. We ordered the "connected plate" which came with all-you-can-eat bread. The plate included a seasonal vegetable assortment and a choice of main dish from chicken breast sauté, salmon sauté, and Mita pork roast. I chose the salmon sauté. The salmon on the plate was tender and delicious. The plate with salmon cost 1600 yen. We did not add any drinks for an additional 350 yen this time. The vegetables were fresh and sweet, with beautiful colors that increased our appetite. The salmon was cooked to perfection. My grandson was also enjoying his meal. The staff members were friendly and their service was excellent. The curry dish that a nearby customer was eating looked very delicious, so I would like to try it next time. We reopened on September 8, 2023 with a renewed menu. During lunch time from 11am to 2pm, they offer a plate with all-you-can-eat bread. I chose the sautéed Tajima chicken breast. The chicken breast was tender and the mashed potatoes underneath were really delicious... Personally, it was even better when eaten with bread. They are also making efforts to reduce plastic use, which was nice to see in various aspects. I thought it was really impressive. I would like to try a different main menu next time.

The MUJI cafe on the 4th floor of the Grand Front North Building has been renovated and reopened on September 8th (Friday). It's a lovely cafe with a spacious interior that exudes the warmth of wood. In addition to table seating, there are large communal tables and counter seats that are also spacious and cozy (with outlets available), creating a comfortable space. The Tiramisu (¥800), available from 14:00 onwards and made with 70% local ingredients from the Kansai region, is a must-try. The smooth and gentle cream with a hint of egg flavor, combined with the coffee-soaked cookie base, was absolutely delightful. The Cafe Latte (¥550) is also a great choice. Since the renovation in September, the cafe has expanded to become a place where everything for daily life is available. I had a wonderful time here and enjoyed the lovely atmosphere. It's been a while since I came here to have pudding, but the cheesecake displayed looked so delicious that I ended up ordering the cheesecake and a drink. The drink was discounted. Cheesecake: 550 yen Black tea: 280 yen Discount: 100 yen Total: 730 yen (tax included) The acidity of the cheesecake and the richness of the whipped cream matched well, and I enjoyed it.

I visited for lunch in September 2022. The place is located in Grand Front Osaka North Building. I have been here many times already. I ordered the Deli Set for 1000 yen, a pudding for 400 yen, and the limited-time Ginger Ale for 400 yen. You can choose between mixed rice and white rice for your meal. I chose the mixed rice, which was a limited-time corn rice. For the deli, I chose gratin, hamburger, ratatouille, and cucumber salad. At Grand Front Osaka, you can have unlimited refills of rice and miso soup. The corn rice was delicious. The dessert and drink were also tasty and satisfying. The free Wi-Fi from MUJI is fast and easy to use. I highly recommend it.

Today's Dessert is at Café&MealMUJI in Osaka Umeda, located in Grand Front Osaka. After work, I went exploring for something sweet to eat. I needed a sugar boost for my tired mind from work. Even though I say exploring, I already had a specific shop in mind. I tried this ↓ → Honwaka Tofu Pudding (400 yen) + Hot Coffee (+200 yen) I saw this pudding online and it looked delicious. The key point is that it's a bit firm. Also, since it's a MUJI cafe, I wondered if it would be okay for an old guy like me to enter. The interior is warm and cozy with a lot of wood, similar to regular MUJI stores. There were a lot of young people, but also many people having dinner after work. From what I could see, there seemed to be more people eating meals rather than just having tea. I paid at the counter and received my pudding and coffee. There were both table and counter seats available. I chose a counter seat with a view outside, but the lighting made it hard to see the night view. → From the side. Doesn't it look like the pudding is slightly firm? It looks delicious. Let's try it. → Ahhh. Mmm. Delicious. The perfect firmness. This is great. It has a nice bounce to it. That bounce gives it a slightly "assertive" vibe for men. It has a nostalgic feel, but it's quite different from traditional coffee shop pudding. I love this. The coffee was also good. → Sip. This part feels like it's straight from the Showa era. The coffee is light and mild. Personally, I prefer a stronger taste, but maybe they're aiming for a more female-friendly flavor? → Curry. "Café & Meal MUJI Grand Front Osaka Store" I love MUJI's "Delicious Lunch"♡ I sometimes eat Deli Lunch at the "Namba Store", but I love the one here at the "Grand Front Osaka Store" in Umeda because it is spacious and has a wide variety of products♡ The checkout is always crowded, which can be a bit tough... I always put off going to this restaurant because I felt like I could go anytime. But I regret it now because it's actually really good! You can choose 3 or 4 healthy side dishes, which is great. The healthy set meals are plentiful and cost around 1000 yen, so I think it's really cost-effective. However, it was always packed when I went. When I went on Saturday at 12:30, there was a line and it seemed like it would continue non-stop!

Visited with a 2-year-old child. It was always crowded at lunchtime, so we had to wait in line. We ordered a 4-item deli set for 1000 yen. We were told that we could get a free extra portion of rice, so we asked for it. The shrimp and broccoli salad had a refreshing lemon flavor and was delicious, but the other deli items were just average, with slightly bland flavors. I'm not sure if they could be reheated, but all the warm dishes were lukewarm. It was just right for the child, so that was good. They also offered the extra rice and a child-sized plate without us having to ask, so I thought the staff's service was excellent.

For dessert, I had mini cheesecake, and for the drink, I chose black soybean tea. The counter seats all have acrylic boards for safety. They offer free Wi-Fi, and it's pre-payment so you can relax and take your time. You can also have unlimited refills for both rice and soup, which is great. Granfront North Building, Cafe ☆ inside Muji. Entered as soon as it opened at 11am. Already about 10 customers. Even though it was still before noon, customers kept coming one after another. Ordered a deli where you can choose 4 items for 1,000 yen. Shrimp and white fish shinjo, salmon fry with tartar sauce, liver and konjac with spicy mustard dressing, dried vegetable and scallop salad. Comes with vegetable potage and snow pea rice. You can choose fish, meat, vegetables, and sweets in any combination you like. The balance is perfect, and the healthy seasoning is also pleasing. I enjoyed a leisurely lunch on the sofa while looking at the still under construction Umeda scenery.

Since it wasn't dinner time yet, I decided to eat before heading home. The popular choice for a meal is the customizable deli set: 3 items for 900 yen, 4 items for 1000 yen. You can choose from a selection of deli items displayed in the showcase, along with miso soup or vegetable potage, and your choice of white rice, mixed rice, or a roll. It was fun to pick out each item for my deli meal! I ended up choosing 4 items. The options were limited as it was nighttime, but the more I chose, the more variety I found. The choices included two cheese gratin, tofu hamburger steak with chicken and lotus root, simmered pork belly and daikon radish, and potato salad. Each dish had a gentle flavor, and having so many side dishes made the rice go down smoothly. You can also have seconds if you want, but I resisted that day because I wanted to have dessert! For dessert, I had the Honwaka Sugar's baked pudding for 400 yen and a set drink of iced tea for 200 yen. The pudding was firm and had a nice, gentle sweetness. It was delicious! I'm not sure if it's because of the impact of the coronavirus, but there weren't many people inside the restaurant and it had a relaxed atmosphere with plenty of empty seats. The location is really within the MUJI store. I wasn't planning on eating at all, but I was drawn in. The food has a strong flavor, but it's also gentle. The atmosphere is really nice.

On November 15, 2020, I enjoyed a GoToEat lunch featuring "Kawachi duck" and "soba" at JR Tozai Line's Shin-Fukushima Station, 2 stops away from Osaka Tenmangu Station. After that, I walked less than 2km to arrive at Grand Front Osaka, where the Christmas-themed green bear "Ted E. Bear" welcomed me. I visited the "MUJI" store on the 4th floor of the North Building to buy a pillow cover. Before that, I stopped at the "Cafe & Meal Muji Grand Front Osaka" located inside for a post-lunch coffee break. The cafe was nearly full around 1 pm, but luckily, two seats by the window with a great view of Umeda North Yard and Umeda Sky Building were available. I ordered the following items at the counter: ◆ Baked apple parfait 800 yen ◆ Set drink: Black soybean tea (hot) 200 yen After waiting for about 5 minutes at the counter, my order was ready. I also picked up my friend's order of "Apple Pie" and "Iced Coffee" and brought them to the counter seats. The seasonal dessert "Baked Apple Parfait" caught my eye on the poster board at the storefront, so I chose it. Although the appearance was a bit underwhelming, the taste was undeniably delicious! The parfait consisted of layers of sweet potato cream, cheese cream, crumble, baked apple, and soft serve ice cream with a red apple sauce and a cinnamon sugar pie stick on top. The combination of the tangy apple, gentle sweetness of the sweet potato, and the cold soft serve ice cream was perfect. I opted for the unique "Black Soybean Tea" as my set drink, which had a roasted black soybean powder packed in a tea bag and poured with hot water, giving off a fragrant aroma. In November 2020, I took a break at "Cafe&Meal MUJI" in the Grand Front North Building after shopping at MUJI. I secured a counter seat by the window and ordered an Apple Pie for 550 yen and an Iced Coffee for 200 yen (set price). The Apple Pie had a crispy surface and a moist inside with a generous amount of apple compote. It was not heavy at all, and paired perfectly with the side of whipped cream. It was delicious and went well with the coffee. I had never used MUJI's food products or cafe before, but I was impressed by the attentive service and nice atmosphere. I will definitely use it again. It might have felt like a good deal if it came with rice and miso soup, but opting for just the deli dishes, I found them a bit overpriced at 250 yen for cold dishes and 300 yen for hot dishes, which were quite small. It felt like a fast food place where you have to go up to order after getting in line, but you can't take your time choosing because you have to look at the deli options after lining up. It felt like they wanted you to decide quickly. I wanted to see the options first before ordering, but it seemed like it would be difficult for them to prepare the food that way. The taste was average. I think housewives might find it expensive. It seems more geared towards younger people. The tea was good though. The seating at the counter with large windows was cozy, and I was able to continue reading the book I happened to have with me. It might be a comfortable place if it's not too crowded. The view might change depending on the building in the large construction area in front of the Sky Building.
