A delicious yakiniku restaurant in Temma! The interior is not very spacious, but it has a cozy atmosphere! It's a wonderful yakiniku restaurant where you can casually enjoy some drinks. The meat is all delicious and you'll definitely get hooked. The manager is kind and it's a very relaxing place. I want to go again.

I visited the sister store of the same Tenjinbashi shopping street main store. The space here is more simple, and although there is still a mismatch with the price range, the food is delicious so it's not a problem. The limited quantity Harami Yuke was excellent. It's a shame that Harami, Mino, and other items are basically marinated. Considering that there is no difference in price range, personally, I was more impressed by the main store.

The address of Meat Baka Kenkyujo is 5-6-3 Tenjinbashi, Kita-ku, Osaka City, about a 1-minute walk from JR Loop Line "Tenma" Station. It is affiliated with Tenma Yakiniku Wacchoi Osaka Main Store! It is a hidden gem of a full-fledged yakiniku restaurant with only 3 tatami mats in size. I arrived at the shop around 19:00. Closed on: None Business hours: [Mon-Fri] 17:00-24:00 (L.O. 23:30) [Sat-Sun-Holidays] 12:00-24:00 (L.O. 23:30) The words "Black Wagyu Beef Specialty Yakiniku" catch your eye! When I peeked inside, 3 out of 4 seats were already taken. The owner recommended an available seat, so I thoroughly disinfected both hands with alcohol and got permission to take pictures before sitting down! The owner had liked my Instagram posts many times, so I told him, "I finally made it here!" There are photos on Instagram, but the actual person is even more handsome and nice! There is a weight-based selling system for each part, but since it was my first time, I consulted with the owner and asked for an omakase course for 5,000 yen per person! Husband: I'll have a draft beer and lemon sour too~ Starting with the bean sprout namul! Let's eat~ The namul has a delicious seasoning that makes the beer go down smoothly even without any meat! First, the salt-based dishes~ Starting with the upper tongue! It's a beautiful cut of tongue! The captain grilled it for me while I took pictures! The delicious smell of the tongue being grilled made my stomach growl! I squeezed plenty of lemon and took a bite! This tongue is delicious! The more you chew, the more the exquisite flavor of the high-quality tongue spreads in your mouth! Next is the lean meat! It also has a beautiful marbling. The owner explained the different meat parts while wearing a T-shirt. The lean meat is the part from the base of the tail to the buttocks. The high-quality meat juice overflows from the knife-cut mark. Next, the sauce-based dishes~ Harami and Kalbi! Both the harami and kalbi are delicious, but this sauce elevates the flavor even more. Next, the miso-based dish~ Thick front harami! Miso-based dishes tend to burn easily, so it's better to have a thicker cut! I was quite drunk and ordered some makgeolli. For the finale, the offal dishes~ Korikori, Akasen, and Hatsu! They were all properly prepared, showing a variety of textures, and truly living up to the Meat Baka Kenkyujo's reputation! I climbed up to Tenma for dinner. The operating hours of many restaurants are shorter than I thought. It's serious. I just made it in time here. The raw tongue was very fresh! The salted tongue was also good. We arrived late, so some items were sold out, but we enjoyed the meal. The bill was a bit higher than I expected. Maybe because of the drinks. Thank you for the meal.

I visited the restaurant right after it opened. I ordered a platter of tongue, skirt steak, and hormone. They use black wagyu beef, which was delicious. Going alone might not be cost-effective, but you can also order a half portion. The staff was friendly and easy to talk to.

In Temma, among many shops, I happened to come across a yakiniku restaurant. It was a small shop, and after finishing the meal, I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was! They serve black wagyu, and I ordered the fillet and loin. I had always thought fillet was lean, but it had a fine marbling of fat that produced flames when grilled, making it very tasty. And it was only 1880 yen for 100g! The recommended portion size for that day was around 150g. It was a great cost-performance ratio for black wagyu fillet! The loin had marbling as well. They used rib loin sirloin, and it was very rich and delicious. I had planned to do a yakiniku crawl that day, so after another shop nearby called "Bufu," I visited this shop, but if you're looking for yakiniku, I personally recommend Meat Baka Kenkyusho. They provide bags for odor and oil splatter prevention in the shopping basket, which was great! For the finale, I had black wagyu curry. It was a slightly spicy, adult curry with just the right amount of spice and no overwhelming sweetness. A great way to end a meal in Temma is with black wagyu curry! Thank you for the delicious meat. They also have wine, so I think it would be great for a group of women looking to enjoy yakiniku!

Meat Baka Research Institute⁉️ The name of the restaurant is so cool~ I thought, let's go❗️ There is a transparent tent set up, and as soon as you enter the restaurant, you come across it⁉️ There are 3 tables, but 2 of them are almost outside under the eaves of the building! There were no customers, so I sat at the back table, but it was still cold❄️ They turned on two electric stoves for me, but it was still cold❄️ As for the food, they use black wagyu selected tongue base, and it's delicious! The selected harami salt with wasabi and soy sauce is tasty! The salted fattened tongue has a nice amount of fat on it! The upper mino salt with salt sauce base, with a good cut, is delicious! The melting roast beef is like sukiyaki style, it might be a matter of preference! The pork kalbi salt is well marinated and tasty! The shiitake mushrooms are quite large and delicious❗️ The onions from Awaji Island are tasty! Everything was delicious, but the price is somewhat high considering the eating environment, right?

I heard there was a narrow yakiniku (Japanese BBQ) restaurant in Temma, so I went to check it out. It's a typical hole-in-the-wall type of place. The interior wasn't as cramped as I expected, with 4 tables cleverly arranged in the 3-tatami space. This place is called Niku Baka Kenkyujo, affiliated with Yakiniku Wacchoi in Yao. There's also a Yakiniku Wacchoi Osaka Honten in Temma, so I wonder what the connection is. Starting with the raw dishes, the heart sashimi was delicious with sesame oil. Next was raw senmai, also tasty and tender. Moving on to the grilled meats, the salted tongue was delicious. The harami and sirloin were both tender and flavorful, but the marbling was quite rich so it might be a bit much for some. Finally, the meltingly tender loin was outstanding. It reminded me of Yakiniku Wacchoi Osaka Honten. Considering the location in Temma, it's a good spot for a quick meal before moving on to the next destination. The prices were reasonable given the atmosphere of the restaurant.

This time, the fourth stop on my Temma Nomino tour is a cozy little place tucked away in a narrow alley. They have about four tables and a great selection of highball drinks. We ordered a kimchi assortment, kalbi block, and grilled liver. The kimchi assortment included three types, with the white cabbage kimchi having a mild acidity. The kalbi block was delicious when grilled and cut with scissors. The grilled liver was also satisfying in size and texture. We also ordered the miso marinated harami, which was rich and flavorful. The beef tongue stew was a standout dish, with tender and flavorful meat. We also got a curry, which I don't have a photo of, but it was also delicious and rich in flavor. Overall, it was a great dining experience, and I look forward to exploring more of Temma in the future.

Temma Day Drinking Series. A series where you can drink from noon. On this day, we hadn't eaten any meat, so this was the second or third place we visited. It's a yakiniku restaurant. The restaurant itself is quite small. Actually, it's very small, haha. Their specialty is that you can eat rare cuts of meat. It's around 2000 yen per 100 grams, so it's not cheap. We also ordered delicious skewers and other items. They were tasty! However, it might be better to order something like harami (skirt steak) instead. The atmosphere is perfect for casual drinking and eating, so it's a good place to stop by for some meat while bar hopping. ^_^
