It was a good deal with three people, costing just under 10,000 yen. The shrimp was delicious. Although it is advertised as robatayaki, I don't think there were enough fish being grilled. I wish they had at least some herring or sesame mackerel available. However, it is recommended as a place where you can drink cheaply in Minami. The staff also seem diligent and hardworking.

My wife and I visited this restaurant for dinner for the first time. We often go to the affiliated restaurants, but we hadn't been to this particular one yet. The first-floor seats were full, so we were seated on the second floor. We arrived around 6:40 pm and the restaurant was packed with customers, both foreign and Japanese. It's a popular place! We ordered drinks: I had the Red Ball Punch x2 for 300 yen each, my wife had a glass of red wine x3 for 300 yen each, and I also had an oolong tea for 300 yen. For food, we had the appetizer x2 for 300 yen each, Sazae shellfish pot, grilled fatty mackerel, grilled whole squid, tofu salad, grilled yam, grilled shiitake mushrooms, grilled shishito peppers, grilled corn, grilled mochi, white clams for 600 yen, and grilled large prawns x2. I was already full from sharing half of the eel and rice bowl my wife had for lunch, but I still enjoyed the quick, cheap, delicious, and lively atmosphere of this restaurant. I love it! I will definitely come back to this and other affiliated robatayaki restaurants in the future. Thank you for the meal!

A nostalgic charcoal-grilled restaurant. Looking at the piled up ingredients, I couldn't help but want to try everything grilled. As I kept ordering, it became too much to eat. I was thinking of moving on to another place after this one, but my stomach was already full.

One of the selling points seems to be that draft beer is cheap. Ingredients are displayed on ice, making an impact. The fried food was a bit oily, but the scallop butter was delicious. The atmosphere is nice, so it's enjoyable to relax there.

I've always been curious about Mr. Rikimaru. Apparently, he has nothing to do with the yakiniku restaurant Rikimaru, haha. Scallops for 300 yen?! Everything else is also 300 yen. I wondered how they make a profit, so I mustered up the courage to ask, and it turns out that Rikimaru Group has a purchasing department. Their seriousness is on another level, haha. The company is called Koka Village Co., Ltd., with about 50 years of history and solid management. It seems they have the ability to achieve delicious and affordable prices, typical of Kansai gourmet restaurants.

I visited here because I wanted to eat robatayaki. It was all-you-can-eat and drink, and the food was delicious. The robatayaki menu was also good. Of course, I had the grilled scallops and turban shells, which were absolutely delicious. Even though I'm getting older and couldn't eat as much, I enjoyed it.

I went to a yakiniku grill for the first time with a potential girlfriend candidate. She was happy to try it for the first time, which made me happy. She really enjoyed the octopus, spicy cucumber, and tomato cheese crisps and kept eating more. It had been a while since I experienced the atmosphere of a yakiniku grill at the counter, and I realized that yakiniku is best enjoyed at the counter. I look forward to going back again.

It had been a while since I had a drinking party in Minami. We visited a restaurant known for its reasonable prices and delicious fish. We started with beer and typical snacks like edamame, karaage, and yakitori, then moved on to fish dishes. The grilled fish, such as the grilled fish head, were all delicious even compared to the more common options. The atmosphere on the first floor, with a robatayaki grill, was enjoyable. There were also a few foreign tourists spotted. The prices were surprisingly low, and the big beer jugs and friendly staff made the experience even better. Thank you for the delicious meal.

Today, the Scrum Battalion made a rare outing! This time, the opponent was a highly rated robatayaki restaurant on Tabelog where almost all items are priced at 300 yen! It seemed like a popular place, so we made a reservation and visited. Upon entering at 5:00 PM, right when the restaurant opened, we found no other customers. The traditional robatayaki atmosphere inside the restaurant was charming. We sat at the counter at the back and started off with a beer and shochu on the rocks to kick things off. We ordered the sashimi assortment for 600 yen (not priced at 300 yen as expected). My buddy suggested we start with sashimi, but I had a bad feeling looking at the pricing... It turned out to be a disappointment as soon as it arrived. It was clearly not fresh. Despite the recent increase in restaurants offering cheap and delicious sashimi, this one missed the mark. My buddy ate a piece and I had the rest. We also ordered scallops for 300 yen each, beef tareyaki, grilled squid, yakitori, french fries, and corn. After the meal, we felt that apart from the sashimi, everything else was just average robatayaki. Even my buddy, who rarely complains about food, agreed that the sashimi was not good. However, the restaurant quickly filled up, confirming its popularity. The Scrum Battalion suffered a defeat in the first battle but is ready to take on the next challenge.

Well, for the second party of the New Year's party, 7 people were left, so I immediately contacted a familiar restaurant♪ However, it seemed difficult to accommodate 7 people on the spot, and I was at a loss as every place turned us down. But then Mairebi-san, not wanting to dwell on it, decided to charge into the first restaurant we saw, and managed to secure a private room at an izakaya that could accommodate all 7 of us♪ Reliable, right?╰(*´︶`*)╯♡ It was "Chikimaru Chaya," not far from Okame. Oh, we had a New Year's party here about two years ago! This must be fate (о´∀`о) First, we ordered our favorite drinks and cheered♪(*^^)o∀*∀o(^^*)♪ When I looked at my hands, I was surprised to see so many tomato juice lovers, it was funny (≧∀≦)♪ Even I, also known as the "Prince of Lycopene♡," was delighted ( ´_ゝ`)ぷ For food, we ordered fried daikon, pickled cucumber, tsukudani clams, grilled chicken wings, and pork kimchi. Each dish was only 300 yen, which is still very reasonable as before (^ー^) There's no problem at all for enjoying drinking with these affordable dishes (*^▽^*) We had a great time together until the restaurant closed♪ Time flies when you're having fun, right?(*´◒`*) Looking forward to the next time we can all drink and have fun together ( ´ ▽ ` )ノ Thank you for the meal m(_牛_)m

After enjoying delicious oden at "Okame," we decided to go to another place for a second round♡ The cow, who was familiar with the area, made several phone calls to find a place, but everywhere seemed fully booked on a Sunday night. So we decided to just go to a restaurant without a reservation and try our luck with a group of 7 people. Our New Year's party started with 9 people, but one person had to leave early due to other commitments, leaving us with 7 people. It's not easy to find a place for 7 people without a reservation, but to our surprise, this restaurant guided us to a private room on the second floor. We each ordered our favorite drinks, and surprisingly, the most popular choice was tomato shochu highball. Cheers~ We also ordered some light snacks, and I opted for cucumber pickles because I was craving vegetables. The tomato shochu highball seemed to work its magic, resetting everything we ate and drank in the afternoon. It's a magical drink! We all had a great time chatting and laughing, almost forgetting about time. The staff kindly reminded us of the closing time, and after settling the bill, we thanked them for the wonderful experience. It was a fun day, and I'm grateful to everyone who joined me. Looking forward to the next opportunity to meet up again. Thank you all! (*´∇`*)〜♪

After enjoying a delicious oden in a cozy atmosphere, we headed to a second location for drinks. With seven of us remaining, we decided to go to a restaurant close to Okame-san's place, which is part of the Robata Power Maru group. Luckily, we were able to get a private room on the second floor. We raised our glasses for the second time today with our drinks. I opted for a draft beer since I felt like having more. Even though we were already full, we decided to order some light dishes. We started with edamame as a complimentary dish. Then we ordered some recommended dishes like fried daikon, clams with spicy sauce, pork kimchi foil grill, and pickled cucumbers. I realized I was eating quite a lot for a "light" meal as I wrote this review. The fried daikon was a unique dish with a crispy texture and a hint of saltiness. It went well with the beer. I decided to have another highball for my refill. The pork kimchi was also delicious. Throughout the night, we had lively discussions about our favorite restaurants and experiences on food review websites. This meetup made me appreciate how this hobby of mine, using food review websites, has allowed me to meet so many wonderful people.

After the New Year's party at Okame, we were talking about going for a little second round without a reservation, but it might be difficult with 7 people. So, we decided to just go and see how it goes. I had no idea where to go, so I left it to my mentors. It turned out there was a place nearby that was available. We had a great time chatting and having fun. We ordered some tomato chu-hai and the food was only 300 yen per dish. The dishes were all delicious and the daikon tempura was especially to my liking. We had a few drinks, chatted, and before we knew it, the place was closing. It was a fun time. I needed to catch the Keihan train back home, and a lovely lady who lived in Osaka kindly showed me the way to the station. And then, something surprising happened... While I was on the train, a young woman sat right next to me even though the train was empty. I was staring at her in confusion, and then I realized she looked familiar... Wait, isn't that my daughter who's supposed to be in Tokyo? It turns out she was in Osaka for a concert and was heading back to Kyoto. It was a coincidence that left us both shocked. What a small world! Thank you for the meal.

We went for a second round after having oden. Even though there were 7 of us, we were able to get a private room and enjoy our drinks leisurely! It's quite rare to be able to accommodate 7 people all of a sudden, so we were lucky! I ordered a tomato chu-hi. I believe tomato chu-hi can solve everything! Even though we were full, we ended up ordering more food. It's like magic how you can eat more when you change restaurants! We had edamame, tsubugai (whelk) with changja sauce, pickled cucumber, pork kimchi foil grill, fried daikon, and grilled chicken wings. Everything was delicious! The most memorable dish was the fried daikon. It was like turning oden daikon into fried food, which was interesting. I might try making fried daikon with leftover daikon stew at home! Being in a private room allowed us to have a relaxed conversation while looking at everyone's faces. It was great to have an izakaya where we could casually hang out. Thank you for the meal! ♡

My second visit to Buri for a New Year's party with Mairevi-san and others was a success! We didn't have a reservation but they were able to accommodate our group of 7 in a private room. We enjoyed some highball drinks and a variety of delicious dishes. The time flew by as we chatted and shared stories. It was a great evening. Thank you!

Recently, or rather this week, it suddenly became hot and I had to work in a room without air conditioning, which was quite physically demanding. In addition, sweating profusely may be the root cause of gout. With the added discomfort of knee joint pain, my appetite is completely gone. This is nyun♪♪ reporting in.
So, I have finally run out of drafts of restaurants I visited this year. One of the places we went to for our second round of last year's New Year's party was this establishment. We used the second floor and it was just the perfect size for our group of 8. It was quite impressive and made for a great atmosphere for our lively conversations.
Here is what we ordered:
- Otoshi (appetizer) x7
- Tris Highball x2
- Chu-hi x12
- Hustle Highball x2
- Draft beer x2
- Pork kimchi foil
- Daikon tempura
- Addictive chicken wings x3
- Cucumber pickles
- Tsubugai Chanja
The total bill came to 10,368 yen (excluding tax) for all of the above. Sorry for being customers who didn't increase the average spending (per person) even though we used the place near closing time. We'll do our best from tomorrow. Thank you for the meal.

I came to a personal year-end party. It's been about a year since I last visited Rikimaru Chaya. The scallops and turban shells are definitely the best dishes. Delicious!! They are cooked just right, so they are tender, and the turban shell releases its flavor when you chew it. In the second half, I enjoyed skewers with beer and highball. [Cheers meal] - Assorted sashimi - Fried oysters - Butter-grilled scallops - Turban shell - Skewers (tsukune, kokoro, bonjiri, quail eggs)

I wandered around Dotonbori and saw the Glico sign, which was crowded with people taking photos in the Glico pose. It looked like a lot of fun. I decided to stop by a place with a counter surrounding a hearth that had a nice atmosphere. The staff were handsome with refreshing blond hair. I started with a beer, and the vegetables in a basket looked delicious. They even grilled a whole corn for me, and the smell of soy sauce getting burnt was appetizing. I tried the long green peppers called "Manganji Shishito," which seemed unusual but were delicious. Everything I tried was tasty. Thank you for the meal.

I made a reservation and visited. It might be difficult to visit without a reservation during dinner time. It should be fine for the second or third restaurant visit. The charcoal grill was good. The smell of the charcoal grill was especially nice! The seafood was fresh and delicious. The atmosphere was good, but the seats were narrow! It was a bit disappointing. Also, there was a discrepancy between the name of the restaurant and the actual location, so don't forget to check the location on the map!

This day, I went to Hozenji Yokocho with relatives living in Osaka for a drink. Personally, it is one of the nonbe sacred places I longed for in Osaka, with lanterns everywhere on the cobblestone street. We visited a place with powerful signs all around. Inside the restaurant, the atmosphere had a taste that wouldn't feel out of place even if Okada Kazuhiko or Yoshida Rui were there. The menu includes seafood, meat, vegetables, skewers, and drinks, all for an unbelievable price of 300 yen each. We had beer, shochu, grilled dishes, konjac, seafood carpaccio, crispy cheese, and more. We enjoyed talking and drinking without worrying too much about the cost, moving on to the next bar as the night went on.
