The customers were well-behaved, and the overall ambiance of the cafe naturally made people speak in hushed tones. The building seemed to date back to the Edo period, but it was not overly old-fashioned, with clean and beautiful furniture, walls, and decorations. Coffee prices range from 650 yen to 900 yen, while sandwiches and cakes are around 900 yen each. If you order a set, you can get a 250 yen discount. Orders placed: ・Hot Dutch Coffee (750 yen) A hot version of Dutch coffee, which is cold-brewed coffee. It has that light aroma and smoothness characteristic of cold-brewed iced coffee. Although I usually prefer bitter coffee, this type of coffee might be more suitable when paired with something like a sandwich that is not sweet. It was very delicious. The serving size was about half a cup for 3 to 4 cups. ・Mixed Sandwich (1000 yen) A warm and fluffy omelet, ham, cucumber, lettuce, and tomato sandwich. The sauce was mustard mayonnaise and ketchup, which were both quite light, allowing the flavors of the ingredients to shine through. The moisture from the warmth made it a bit difficult to eat with hands, but it was not a big issue. Overall, considering the prices compared to cafes in tourist areas or the city center, it was average. The calm atmosphere, excellent service, cute attire of the staff, and more made it a very nice cafe that I would like to visit regularly as a local. The coffee was delicious, and there were other drinks and foods I would like to try as well. It was a very good experience.

I took a break at a historic building built in 1815. Inside, it was spacious and I could relax without worrying about other customers. The atmosphere was very nice. I ordered a Viennese coffee, which had a hint of sugar and was perfect with cream.

The exterior has a retro feel, and the second floor window says "Dazaifu's stylish coffee specialty shop." The interior has a lovely atmosphere where you can enjoy delicious coffee and cake. I forgot the exact prices, but I believe the cake set was around 1000 yen. Whether you are alone, with friends, on a date, or with family, it's a place where people of all ages can enjoy. It might be a bit challenging for families with small children, though. If you visit Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine, be sure to stop by. It was delicious! I will definitely go again. At first, I didn't think it was a cafe, but when I realized on my way back, I entered without hesitation. The atmosphere inside is really nice, with a lovely Taisho era vibe. I ordered an iced coffee, which cost around 500 to 600 yen. I stayed for about 20 minutes and was very satisfied. Although I couldn't go upstairs, I'm sure the atmosphere is also great up there.

A cozy cafe where you can feel comfortable going alone. The staff's uniform resembles the red apron dress from Rurouni Kenshin, giving off a Taisho retro vibe. I ordered a mixed sandwich and a blend coffee. Since it wasn't busy, my order was ready in less than 10 minutes. The sandwich bread was soft and slightly warm, and the thick omelette sandwich had a gentle taste of eggs and ketchup. The mixed sandwich had crunchy vegetables and I finished it in no time. The coffee had a rich aroma and flavor that even with condensed milk and brown sugar couldn't overpower. It seemed like the new staff was still in training, which made the atmosphere even more heartwarming. I would love to visit again. They were taking infection prevention measures such as hand sanitizing and ventilation. I thought not using acrylic boards was the right decision as it didn't spoil the nice atmosphere.

I bought Ume-gaeshi mochi at Kasa no Ie and had a coffee while waiting for my companion. It feels a bit lonely being alone at Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine... The atmosphere is very nice as soon as you enter. I usually drink black coffee, but today I ordered a cafe au lait. No sugar! The creamy milk was very delicious.

I had used the first floor before, but I was curious about what the second floor was like. The interior of the store feels like a time slip to the Taisho era. The uniforms of the staff also resembled those of the Taisho era, creating a great atmosphere. I had an iced coffee for 630 yen, which had syrup extracted from the coffee, giving it a coffee aroma. It was delicious. They also accepted electronic payments through PayPay.

I ordered coffee and a sandwich, but it took forever! The coffee shop is supposed to specialize in coffee, with a note saying they hardly serve any food, so I shouldn't have expected much. But honestly, waiting nearly 30-40 minutes for a sandwich is unacceptable. And to top it off, the sandwich was disappointingly small for the price. The coffee was good, but again, the portion size was not worth the price. I'm not someone who is impatient or picky when it comes to food, but I don't think I'll be going back.

The quaint building had the words "Dazaifu's High Collar" on it, with a wind vane illustration on the curtain. The history of the building was written on a wooden plaque. It is a historic building built in 1815 as a ryokan called "Yamato-ya". Inside, you can feel the Taisho romance with a charming atmosphere and elegant furnishings. The table seats and menu have a classical feel. There were two groups of customers already there. As a COVID-19 measure, transparent sheets were placed between the seats. It was much more organized than in Tokyo. I ordered a Dutch coffee (HOT) for 730 yen and a strawberry shortcake (cake set) for around 320 yen. The Dutch coffee is made using the Dutch water drip method for 12-15 hours, resulting in a refreshing and transparent taste. The small coffee cup allows for refills from a pot, so you can enjoy a warm drink. The strawberry shortcake had a natural sweetness from the strawberries and a light cream, making it quite good for a cafe cake. It was nice to take a break at this charming coffee shop along the approach, where you can feel the Taisho romance. Thank you for the meal.

I decided to take a break at a retro cafe called Kazamidori on my way back from Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine. The atmosphere was very nice, truly a retro cafe. It was non-smoking and very quiet. Music like a music box was playing, perfectly matching the ambiance of the cafe. I arrived at 2 pm and the cafe was about 30% full. With it being located on the approach to Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine, it would likely be crowded with tourists if it weren't for the pandemic. The coffee menu was extensive, taking up a whole page. About 25 years ago, Anko Taicho apparently had a coffee squash here, but it was no longer on the menu. Other food and drink options were listed at the bottom of the menu. Order: Iced Dutch Coffee - 730 yen The Iced Dutch Coffee is made using Dutch-style cold brew coffee that takes over 12 hours to prepare. The syrup used is made from coffee, giving it a coffee color. The white liquid that looks like milk is unsweetened condensed milk. Both the syrup and the milk were very elaborate. The coffee syrup was not too sweet, and the unsweetened condensed milk served as a milk substitute without altering the sharp taste of the coffee. I was able to fully enjoy the refreshing and fragrant coffee. If you're tired from sightseeing in Dazaifu, be sure to visit this cafe. I took the bus back home. Getting around Dazaifu by bus is convenient.

After visiting and praying on November 17, 2020, I had some time before my bus back, so I spent it at this retro coffee shop. I ordered a set of homemade cake and blend coffee. The blend had a slightly strong acidity, so if you don't like acidity, you might want to go for a dark roast. The coffee cake was incredibly delicious. The water was served in a beautiful glass. I hope that the high ratings from many people won't attract noisy customers... It was such a wonderful café.

I regret always passing by without entering... Coffee float is the best! Next time, I want to try the coffee jelly. The sandwiches also look delicious. The atmosphere of the shop is great.
