The shop's recommended Crispy Chicken (half size) for 280 yen is a fairly large piece of fried chicken, as the name suggests, the coating is crispy and incredibly delicious. Visited after 12 o'clock. There are 10 seats at the counter and about 15 tables. Although it seemed like mostly lunch customers, around 20% were there just for lunch. The occupancy rate was about 80% for both. It seemed like there were many regular customers. The lunch menu has about 5 items, ranging from 700 yen to under 1000 yen. I ordered the daily sweet and sour chicken dish for 700 yen. It arrived in about 7 minutes. The set included salad, macaroni, miso soup, and rice. The miso soup had a rich flavor from fish broth. The lunch menu mainly consists of chicken dishes, so it was a bit unexpected to see a dish with plenty of fish broth. The crispy fried chicken with vegetable sauce provided a variety of textures, which was enjoyable. The attentive and friendly service from the staff is also a charming point of this place.

I recently got hooked on the classic Japanese meal of fish and white rice for lunch. It's hard to find restaurants where you can enjoy this, but I found a great deal at a casual pub where I ordered the fresh sashimi lunch set for 900 yen. The sashimi was not fancy but still satisfying, with the right amount of fat and firm texture that goes well with white rice. Even though it's not top-notch quality, as long as the side dish goes well with rice, it's not a problem. The only downside was that smoking was allowed in the restaurant during lunchtime, but luckily I had a good seat away from the smoke. It consisted of boiled eggs in oden and a potato salad with a hint of mustard, which was not bad. They had Hanamizake available, which is a famous sake, but I opted for a glass of it at 1,200 yen, the most expensive option. As described as fruity, it had a lingering taste that was quite pleasant. Majimeya served a sashimi platter with 6 varieties today instead of the usual 5, priced at 690 yen. It may look a bit messy, but it was a comfortable place to enjoy a drink. In total, the bill came to 2,858 yen, which I paid with a credit card. Today's highlight was the Japanese sake, which was a bit on the pricey side, but as always, it was delicious. I ended up choosing this place because the draft beer is only 220 yen, the seafood bowl set is 800 yen, and the service is quick. It's easy to go in alone, and the staff is friendly. We were a group of 4, 2 men and 2 women. The atmosphere was not lively, but it was perfect for winding down with some drinks. Although they request a 2-hour limit during busy times, we stayed for 1 hour and 15 minutes. The total bill came to 1667 yen after tax, which was quite reasonable. Overall, I enjoyed my meal. The miso soup today had a large Thai fish head, which was a lucky surprise. The chicken was made with chicken breast, coated in a crispy batter with a sweet sauce and special mayo. It was light and tasty. When a woman makes the food, the mayo is generously drizzled, while men seem to be more delicate with it. The seafood bowl is more extravagant though. Around 12:20, there may be a wait, so it's best to come around 12 or 12:40 if you're in a hurry. The fried food is crispy from being double-fried, but overall a bit tough. The flavor is good but slightly disappointing. The rice is cooked on the firmer side. Despite these minor issues, overall, it is definitely delicious!! Thank you for the meal.

When you move aside the tempura, you find thin, small seafood toppings. Especially the octopus was cut into tiny pieces, like for takoyaki. The freshness was good, but it felt like it didn't live up to its name. Honestly, for the price, it felt a bit expensive for a lunch option. There was no sense of value for money.
