I ordered the "Ichinoma" set and the red snapper head soup, and they were served quickly. The staff were efficient. The sushi and red snapper head soup were delicious. The sushi on the conveyor belt looked appetizing. The "Ichinoma" set also came with red snapper head soup. It was a satisfying and delicious lunch that wasn't too expensive.

If you're going to eat sushi in Tenjin, I definitely recommend this place. It's a conveyor belt sushi restaurant with great value and delicious taste. The kombu-shime sushi has an exquisite flavor and is very delicious. The fatty tuna melts in your mouth once you eat it. However, on this day, they were out of grilled conger eel, which was disappointing.

This is a revolving sushi restaurant located in the middle of Tenjin Shopping Street. There are sushi cases on the counter and the wall says "Sushikan Revolving Sushi." I think it used to be a regular sushi restaurant. They offer small portions of amberjack collar for 440 yen, which is a cheaper option. The sushi rice is not very sweet. The sushi was average and nothing particularly stood out. They offer a lot of appetizers, so it's a good place to go for drinks.

On Sunday afternoon, I originally planned to have Chinese food, but when I went to the restaurant, there was quite a long wait... It seemed like the waiting time would be too long, so I changed my plans and had sushi at this place in Shintencho. They have set menus, but I decided to have sushi from the conveyor belt instead. I tried the kelp-cured herring, horse mackerel, and button shrimp. There were not many types of sushi, but each piece had thick slices of fish, which made me very satisfied. The chawanmushi (savory steamed egg custard) had a subtle dashi flavor.

I often use this place for lunch, but it was my first time coming for dinner. Usually, I order a set menu for lunch, but this time, since it's a conveyor belt sushi restaurant, I decided to go for the items that were rotating plus some additional orders. The miso soup with clams was delicious - plenty of clams and only 220 yen. The size and quality of the sushi at 100 yen per plate were amazing, much better than what you would expect at that price. The texture of the shrimp was great, and the fatty tuna was only 660 yen for 2 pieces, which I think is a good deal. If you're looking for a high-end sushi restaurant, you might find the atmosphere lacking, but for just 3000 yen per person, you can eat to your heart's content with such fantastic quality. While the set menu sushi is satisfying, being able to choose your favorite items as they come around on the belt is a nice touch!

I was shopping in Atarashicho (shopping street) and before I knew it, it was already lunchtime. This arcade street has a variety of shops ranging from fashion, goods, books, stationery, and hobby supplies, with a customer base mostly consisting of middle-aged and elderly people. There are limited dining options, but I found a sushi restaurant tucked away in one corner, a revolving sushi restaurant. Upon entering, I saw that the first floor had a counter seat with a revolving lane, while the second floor had table seats. I decided to go to the central area where the lunch menu was available, which came with a bowl of miso soup, making it a good deal. I ordered the premium sushi set (8 pieces for 1680 yen) for myself, and a half portion (1000 yen) for my family. We poured our own tea from the hot water faucet on the table. The premium sushi set had high-quality toppings such as squid, fatty tuna, sea bream, flounder, shrimp, yellowtail, and salmon roe. The shrimp was also a large, fresh shrimp. My family had a more common variety of sushi. Since 8 pieces were not enough, I added flounder (385 yen). Although the sushi was revolving, I asked the chef to make it fresh for me. It was delicious. The restaurant is located near the Tenjin central Parco, and like the other customers, most of the patrons were middle-aged and elderly, giving a sense of comfort in this sushi restaurant in a shopping street.

I finally got to go to Sushikan, a place I've been wanting to visit for a while! I ordered the Sushikan set and the flounder with kelp. Even though it's a conveyor belt sushi restaurant, they really pack in the wasabi (lol). The flounder with kelp was surprisingly cold, but in a good way (lol). The staff totally forgot my clam soup, it came out after I finished eating (lol). Thanks for the meal! Oh, and I was recently told that I'm a Japanese person who can clearly say no (lol).

Gintencho is quite different from Ginza. When you take a stroll, you'll find about four revolving sushi and casual sushi restaurants just within the shopping district, with a few more in the surrounding area. It seems like there is fierce competition among sushi restaurants here. I decided on this particular restaurant based on my wild instinct, perhaps because they had seafood bowls on display. The seafood bowl was filled with diced lean tuna on a bed of rice, topped with a generous amount of assorted fish. The overflowing toppings on the small bowl didn't seem very balanced, but it was still satisfying. Bon appétit! Seafood bowls and sea urchin bowls are such complex dishes, aren't they? By the way, there was someone who called sushi "onigiri"! I wonder what the ultimate sea urchin bowl from that chef would taste like...

I randomly walked into a sushi restaurant! It was very delicious and just right for lunch!! There were a lot of shops in the shopping street nearby, so I had trouble deciding on a place, but surprisingly, this one was really good!! I would love to visit again if the timing works out!!

This is a convenient rotating sushi restaurant located in a place where you can walk under a roof all the way from the underground shopping street. I ordered a 1.5-person portion with various items in each can, which is more convenient than ordering one plate with two cans as I can try a variety of dishes. It came with miso soup, which was a good deal. The quality of the sushi is decent, nothing extraordinary but still satisfying. The presentation is well done, giving a somewhat authentic sushi restaurant vibe. I particularly enjoyed the salmon. Even though I ordered 1.5 portions, I still felt a bit hungry, so I added a mackerel sushi that was passing by. I am pleasantly full now, thank you for the meal. While a newly opened nearby Sushizanmai might be slightly better overall, I am still satisfied with this place. It is located in the heart of Tenjin, so it seems quite popular among solo diners. I feel like I can casually drop by here more often in the future.

In Takaoka, Toyama, there is a famous sushi restaurant called "Sushikan" that once had a rating of over 4 on Tabelog. However, this review is not about that restaurant but a conveyor belt sushi restaurant in Hakata with the same name. Although I was not aware of this particular restaurant, being a fan of the "Sushikan" in Toyama, I found myself walking in when I saw the name (laughs). Nowadays, many conveyor belt sushi restaurants are filled with part-time staff, but this one had two chefs standing behind the sushi counter. It was well past lunchtime on a weekday, so the place was quite empty. Personally, I prefer to pick sushi from the conveyor belt rather than ordering freshly made ones (as the rice temperature is often too warm or too cold, and I prefer to let it cool down a bit before eating). I wasn't sure if they were making the sushi fresh or if it was prepared elsewhere, but the rice was firm and the toppings were decent. With prices starting at 200 yen for two pieces, it was reasonably priced. While it may not live up to the reputation of the "Sushikan" in Toyama, it was still a good conveyor belt sushi restaurant. I actually preferred it over a popular sushi chain nearby.

You can choose whether or not to have wasabi, but if you choose wasabi, the taste of wasabi was a bit too strong compared to the sushi toppings, which was a little disappointing. The sushi toppings themselves were delicious!

I ordered the lunch menu (half portion: 12 pieces of nigiri sushi with miso soup). The sushi rice was dry, which was a bit concerning, but when I ate it, I could taste the sushi flavor. However, the fish toppings and other ingredients were also dry, with a slightly off taste. I should have mentioned it on the spot. Both my friend and I are Japanese. It's a shame because it's a nice restaurant, so I hope for a better experience next time.

I had the service lunch. I think it's quite reasonable. The sushi on the conveyor belt looked delicious, so I also had some. There were many fatty tuna pieces circulating energetically, and although it was rich in fat, it was delicious.
