Kobe is famous for its long-established coffee shops, but this one has a vibe of a large coffee shop in a bustling area, lacking a sense of luxury. The original baumkuchen and coffee baumkuchen were a bit dry, so adding plenty of whipped cream seemed to be the right choice to enhance the flavor. The coffee had a good balance of bitterness and acidity, but unfortunately, the disappointing aspect of the sweets stood out.

A shop that is open until 11pm. Perfect for when you don't drink alcohol. Great place for chatting late at night in Umeda with non-alcoholic drinks. It has the charm of a traditional coffee shop and the cleanliness of a salon. Better for having a relaxed conversation than at a noisy izakaya. I love this place!

*Fruit sandwich (with drink) ¥1450 I had always been curious about the famous old coffee shop fruit sandwich, so I ordered it and it turned out to be twice as much as I had imagined (°_°) If you're planning to have coffee after eating, a half size would be just fine (ˊᵕˋ;) The fruit is not canned, but all fresh fruits, so they are juicy and delicious! It had strawberries, pineapples, kiwis, and oranges! The amount of whipped cream spread thinly on the bread was just right, so I could easily finish it☺️ When you want to have coffee in Umeda on a holiday, most places are full, but this place has plenty of seating and was relatively empty, so it's a hidden gem◎

I had it at 11 am, and it was so filling that it could double as lunch. The coffee, being from a long-established shop, had a deep aroma, richness, and mildness. It was truly a delicious coffee. Large coffee shops nowadays offer a variety of meals, making them versatile for different occasions.

I had breakfast at a Kobe store before and the fruits were so delicious that I came here to try the fruit parfait♡ I didn't expect it to be in Osaka so I'm happy☺︎ The store has a terrace and is quite spacious and relaxing inside. It was a weekday afternoon and it was pretty empty, making it easy to use (*´ω`*) I ordered the Fruit Parfait for 1100 yen. The appearance is so uplifting! The delicately cut fruits are beautiful. And it's unique that there are prunes on top♡ The strawberries, bananas, oranges, pineapples, and melons in this luxurious parfait are all fresh and delicious! And the great thing about this parfait is that the white part is not whipped cream but soft serve♡ (Whipped cream or fresh cream is too sweet and gives me indigestion.. sweat) And the soft serve is delicious♡ There's also some kind of strawberry jam at the bottom of the glass which was also delicious. The Grapefruit Tea drink was not too sweet and had an elegant taste that I liked. I would be happy if Nishimura Coffee opened in Tokyo too (*´ω`*)

Despite being around 9:30 pm on the weekend, the restaurant was full and I had to wait for about 15 minutes. The cake set menu was priced at 1200 yen and offered around 15 different types of cakes, but by this time, more than half of them were already sold out. I ordered a coffee and a Mont Blanc cake. The coffee had a rich flavor with a mild bitterness, and the sweet Mont Blanc cake was a perfect match. Even though I was already full from a previous gathering, I enjoyed the dessert a lot.

I often visit the Goei branch with my local friends, but today I came alone to the Umeda branch, which never fails to impress with its delicious food. Although there are many cafes and coffee shops in Umeda, I was drawn here as if by a magnet. The interior here has a strong Showa era vibe, which adds to the charm of this classic coffee shop. After having a meal in Higashi Umeda, I spent a pleasant time with my friends. It was late at night, and the spacious restaurant was filled with many people sitting closely together, their laughter echoing throughout the room. My friends ordered brandy and straight coffee, while I chose coffee jelly. We spent about an hour chatting and blending in with the lively atmosphere. The coffee jelly was strong in gelatin texture, and when mixed with whipped cream, it gave me a nostalgic feeling.

"Kobe Shimura Coffee" is a long-established coffee shop in Kobe. It is the only store in Osaka, located at the entrance of Ohatsu Tenjin. I ordered the long-selling Mont Blanc, which has been popular for over 20 years. The Mont Blanc has a simple composition with cream, chestnut cream, and meringue. The Mont Blanc cream has a grainy texture with a generous amount of rich chestnut cream. I want to visit again because it is open from early morning until late at night. I would also like to visit the main store in Kobe someday. They accept cash, credit cards, transportation IC cards, PayPay, and other smartphone payments. It was delicious. Thank you. I visited for breakfast. In Hyogo, it was so crowded that I couldn't even park my car (´∀｀; ) I happened to find this place on my way back from a izakaya, so I decided to come in despite the wait. It definitely lives up to its name as Kobe, with a luxurious atmosphere! I chose the fruit set for ¥800, which came with a fruit sandwich. The sandwich had vegetables and bacon on top of a toasted baguette, with another baguette underneath! It was served as a sandwich. Breakfast is served until 11:30. The fruit was plentiful and made with seasonal fruits. I asked if there was pineapple in it because I don't like it, and they said it was not included. The baguette was a bit hard and it hurt my upper jaw, but the bacon was delicious. The combination was perfect ♡ The drink came with a mixed juice, which was a fancy mix of soda-soaked apple, mango, orange, and banana. I was able to relax and enjoy my meal in an elegant manner. The staff were all kind and friendly. I had a delicious meal, thank you. Next time, I might try the fruit sandwich? (*^^*)

A long-established coffee shop with its main store in Kobe, and a branch in Osaka Umeda. I have never been to the main store, but I have visited the Umeda branch a few times. A cup of coffee costs 650 yen, which is not cheap, but the spacious interior allows you to relax and read a book while staying for a long time. It's nice to have that kind of leisure. The interior is smoke-free. I didn't smell any smoke when sitting on the edge. I ordered iced coffee and pudding. They asked if I wanted to use milk and sugar. I asked for both. The syrup came already in the coffee. Milk was also provided. A shop that serves coffee with cream is really nice. I have to give them extra points for that. The pudding was rich in both egg and milk fat content, giving it a satisfying taste. There was quite a lot of it too. The pudding was even better than expected. I ended up really liking it.

They receive cake deliveries around 11 am every day, so be careful not to arrive too early if you're looking for cake. The staff were kind, and I had a lovely time at the cafe. I would like to visit again.

The entire seating area is now non-smoking, creating an even more relaxed atmosphere. I tried the mixed juice this time, which was delicious. They also offer a variety of cakes and fruit-based menu items, and their mixed juice is so tasty that I often choose it over coffee. I would like to try their morning menu sometime, as it looked very appetizing.

It has been 9 and a half years. It's spacious so it doesn't feel crowded, but there were nearly 20 people around 9 am on Saturday. It seemed like there were many travelers, as the order rate for mixed juice and fruit sandwich sets was high. It's a shame that you can't choose the type of coffee for the set even with an additional charge, but the service was excellent!
