I came here to eat recommended oysters. There are various ways to eat oysters here. You can choose three out of five different cooking methods, and it's a great deal with two drinks included. I started with a toast with a glass of draft beer and ordered fresh oysters, fried oysters, and grilled oysters. The fresh oysters with lemon and grated daikon had a clean taste with a hint of ocean flavor. The oysters were from Senhoji and Koshim, which are well-known oyster-producing areas. The fried oysters were crispy with tartar sauce. The taste of the oysters was slightly weaker after eating the fresh ones. The grilled oysters were outstanding, with a concentrated umami flavor and a great soup left in the shell. Since the oysters were so good, we ordered an oyster hot pot. Despite ordering just one serving, it was enough for two people. The hot pot looked amazing. While waiting for it to cook, we had more fresh and grilled oysters. We switched to sake for drinks. The smooth texture of the fresh oysters was truly captivating. The hot pot was also delicious, with the umami of the oysters and pork complementing each other well. The vegetables absorbed the flavors and enhanced the overall taste. For the finale, we were recommended carbonara as the closing dish. It consisted of melting cheese in the hot pot and then adding fresh pasta. It was more like udon than pasta, but it was a perfect way to wrap up the meal, absorbing all the flavors from different ingredients.

I enjoyed plenty of fresh oysters. It was a bit of a downside that smoking was allowed, but when I asked for a seat away from it, they were considerate, which I really appreciated. It was really bad when my friend who arrived late complained about it and kept smoking, making my throat and nose hurt... I used this restaurant for a Facebook meetup with 6 people. Two of us are vegan, so we chose the vegan course with all-you-can-drink for 4,500 yen. The place is popular among office workers, and smoking is allowed inside, but nobody smoked so it was comfortable. I left taking photos of the dishes to someone else, so I only have pictures of the interior and the nearby Kitami-do, which I visited for the first time. It was a very delicious and nice restaurant experience :)

I was intrigued by the "Carbonara Special" featured on "Narumi Okamura's Excessive TV" and decided to visit the Honcho branch (the one on the show was the Temma branch). The miso soup hot pot was filled with vegetables, meat, shrimp, and scallops, making it very hearty. As you eat, your body starts to warm up. To finish, they melt cheese and add flat pasta to make it like Carbonara?! It was interesting how the miso soup turned into Carbonara. It may seem heavy, but surprisingly, it was easy to eat and very satisfying hot pot!

The miso soup was rich and warm. The open door for COVID-19 measures made it a bit cold, but it couldn't be helped. The cost performance was excellent. I would like to go again, but it's difficult to go to Honmachi.

The door of the shop was wide open, but it wasn't cold at all because there was a stove right next to our table. We ordered a set of three oysters to compare - raw, grilled, and fried - plus two drinks for 1,000 yen. The standout for me was the "oyster tataki" which you eat with salt and sudachi citrus. It was the most delicious oyster in the shop. Oysters can be ordered individually starting from 290 yen each, and I ended up eating about 7-8 by myself! The must-have side dish to nibble on while drinking was the potatoes. I found another favorite spot near Honmachi!

Sakagura Nabe-san is a popular spot among salarymen after work on weekdays, and I had been curious about this hot pot restaurant. With the weather getting cooler, I was craving hot pot, so I decided to visit. The sakekasu hot pot I tried for the first time was really delicious. The vegetables and seafood were all tasty when cooked in the hot sakekasu broth. Next time, I want to try adding Chinese noodles as a topping. The menu is quite extensive with options like chicken bones and mozuku tempura, sashimi platter, and local specialties, so I left very satisfied. The prices are reasonable, with hot pot dishes in the 1700 yen range. It's easy to visit for a quick warm-up during this season. The restaurant is conveniently located a 5-minute walk from Honmachi Station Exit 2, and about a 10-minute walk from Yodoyabashi. It's easy to access from Yotsuhashi-suji or Honmachi-dori. While the appeal of sakekasu might be a bit subtle for men, I think female fans will really enjoy it. I will definitely be going back.

The price is not high, and despite being voluminous, it's a great deal at 1780 yen per serving‼️ Also, you can enjoy local specialties, which is probably why it's so popular!! By the way, what I had was the Kagawa prefecture specialty Bone-in Chicken and the Okinawa prefecture specialty Mozuku Tempura!! Why not go and try it out for yourself!

During lunchtime, they offer set meals featuring seafood. The "Oyster Fry Set Meal" comes with five medium-sized oysters. The homemade tartar sauce is a nice touch. The crispy and juicy oyster fry is delicious. The atmosphere may not be the best, but you can enjoy a cheap and tasty lunch here.

We ordered fresh oysters, fried oysters, potato salad, and garlic tomatoes, and toasted with bottled beer. The dishes were small but delicious, and the food was really good. We left the restaurant after about an hour, but it was not a pleasant experience due to the unfriendly service. I won't go into details, but let's move on to the next place quickly.
