I used it during my trip to Fukuoka. It is a conveyor belt sushi restaurant located in Hakata Ichibangai. I suddenly felt like eating sushi, so I was looking for a good place to eat and found this place that met my criteria, so I went in. The interior of the restaurant consists of counter seats only. The aisle was a bit narrow, and I bumped into the staff and other customers a few times as they passed by after being seated. The sushi was reasonably priced even during lunchtime. For now, I ordered a maguro (tuna) assortment and a draft beer. The draft beer was served immediately after ordering, and it was my favorite Sapporo Black Label! It was nicely chilled and delicious. After a few minutes, the maguro assortment arrived. It included 2 pieces each of akami (lean tuna), chutoro (medium fatty tuna), and otoro (fatty tuna), a perfect assortment for tuna lovers like me. The size of the fish and rice was large, and the volume per piece was excellent. The rice was warm, and the wasabi was applied just right, making it quite delicious. The otoro had a strong sweetness, and the chutoro had a good amount of fat, and although I could somewhat understand the pricing, I still thought it was a bit expensive...but overall, it was a satisfying meal.

I had the impression that the fish in Kyushu is delicious, so I decided to try a revolving sushi restaurant. It wasn't the type where sushi goes around on a conveyor belt, but you have to order each piece. Since it was crowded and I didn't want to order one by one, I chose a set called "Don Takutte" which includes 7 pieces of sushi with a choice of chawanmushi or miso soup. I chose the chawanmushi. The fish was indeed delicious, and I also ordered extra squid and sea bream. Delicious as always!

I went to a non-revolving sushi restaurant. I waited for about 30 minutes to get inside. It's an order-based system, so you can eat fresh sushi. Even though it's a bit pricey, it's around 500 yen per person. You can see the hard work of the busy chefs in the packed kitchen. I recommend this place.

I stopped by to eat casually and was planning to leave, but surprisingly there was a line even though it was late. I decided to wait in line. It seems okay as long as you can get in by 8:45 PM. Despite being a conveyor belt sushi restaurant, they currently serve sushi by order. The sushi rice is easy to eat with the right size. The toppings are fresh and of good quality. It's surprisingly high-quality for a restaurant near the station. I was satisfied beyond my expectations.

Visited around 6:30 PM on a weekday. About 5 people waiting in line. Waited for about 10 minutes to get in. Ordered the "Gokumi Set" and fresh squid, totaling around 3000 yen. The sushi had thick cuts and rich flavors. Very delicious. The squid had a sweet taste. The sea urchin was okay. It's a relatively reasonable option for dining alone near Hakata Station.

I felt like eating something and found a line of 10 people while walking! Sushi... I thought, but if it's Hakata fish, it might be good... I waited for 20 minutes (lol). I didn't take notes on what I ordered (^^;; From the receipt: 2 plates for 190 yen, 310 yen plate, 350 yen plate, 410 yen plate, 2 plates for 520 yen, and a bottle of Akahoshi beer. The total bill was 3366 yen. Orders were taken orally. I visited a revolving sushi restaurant called "Mawaranai Mawaru Osushi" for my last lunch during a business trip to Hakata. I wanted to experience the highest quality sushi, so I ordered the "Kiwami" course. It consisted of 8 pieces, but each piece had generous toppings and I was satisfied. The kanpachi toro was particularly delicious. I wanted to order more, but unfortunately, they don't allow ordering individual pieces. I added some nodoguro and ended up with a full stomach when paying the bill. I will definitely visit again during my next business trip!

I stopped by because I was a little hungry and wanted a snack. It was just after 1:00 pm on a weekday, and there were three groups waiting. However, true to its name, the conveyor belt sushi restaurant was quick, and I was able to enter after about 10 minutes. I didn't have high expectations, but the fish was delicious! I only wanted a little snack, but I ended up eating more than I intended because everything looked so good. The sashimi, in particular, was delicious. I would love to go back when I'm in Hakata Station again.

I went with four friends. We waited for about 30 minutes until we were seated at 2:30. I was happy that we could sit together. We ordered the lunch set. Everything was delicious except for the sea urchin, which was just average. I guess Hokkaido's sea urchin is still the best.

I revisited a sushi restaurant called "Mawaru Sushi Hakata Uogashi Hakata Ichiban-gai" because the ramen I had earlier was not satisfying. Here is what I ordered: - "Kiwami" (deluxe assortment) for 2354 yen - Live octopus for 385 yen - Toro Tekkamaki (fatty tuna roll) for 690 yen The "Kiwami" included 8 pieces of fatty tuna, medium fatty tuna, sea urchin, salmon roe, scallop, sea bream, horse mackerel, and amberjack. All were fresh and delicious, although the fatty tuna leaned towards the medium fatty side. The live octopus had a good chewy texture and was tasty. Lastly, the fatty tuna roll was a splurge but totally worth it with the melting flavor of the nori and fatty tuna. Overall, if you want to enjoy a quick and delicious sushi meal at Hakata Station, this place is highly recommended! Thank you for the meal.

Located on the basement floor of Hakata City. The interior has around 25 counter seats. Despite being a conveyor belt sushi restaurant, there were no sushi plates rotating around, probably due to the current situation. You can order your favorite items as needed. - First Bonito (286 yen): A bit thin, but no fishy smell, good freshness. However, the fatty flavor is better with bonito that has been aged. - True Horse Mackerel (341 yen): The texture is just right, with a delicious umami flavor. - Squid (341 yen): Sticky umami flavor with a nice sweetness. - Yellowtail (385 yen): Thick and satisfying, with a good aroma. Highly recommended. - Tekka Maki (341 yen): Comes with 6 pieces, satisfying to eat. Good seaweed flavor. The menu includes actual photos of the dishes, making it easy to imagine. Also available in English and Korean. Truly a Fukuoka restaurant with a sense of internationalization, even as a conveyor belt sushi place. Thank you for the meal.

I ended my Fukuoka trip with sushi. Perhaps due to the recent incident, the sushi wasn't rotating on the conveyor belt. The service was a bit slow, but the food was delicious. The staff, who seemed to be international students, were working hard and left a good impression on me. It was a great way to end a wonderful trip.

This is my first time posting a review for this restaurant, but it's my second visit. Last time, I had to wait in line due to the pandemic, but this time I lined up and got in for lunch. They advertise themselves as revolving sushi, but now it's a style where you receive the sushi directly from the chef. The photos show the "Extreme Taste" and the Tuna Special. The prices are a bit higher than chain conveyor belt sushi restaurants, but the quality of the ingredients makes it worth it.

I arrived at Fukuoka Airport in the early afternoon and decided to have lunch in Hakata. I thought about grabbing some sushi at a conveyor belt sushi place, so I visited a sushi restaurant called "Mawaru Sushi Hakata Uogashi" located in the underground shopping area of Hakata Station. Despite the name suggesting revolving sushi, the sushi plates were actually not rotating on a conveyor belt. Instead, you order and have the sushi freshly made for you. Surprisingly, there was a line of over 10 people, so I ended up waiting for almost 30 minutes. Finally seated at the counter, I ordered a beer and checked out the recommended menu on a strip of paper. The prices for a plate of horse mackerel, amberjack, and flounder ranged from 310 yen to 410 yen. The fish was delicious, and I especially enjoyed the sweet soy sauce from Kyushu. Trying sushi with sweet soy sauce for the first time, it was a good match. I also tried dishes like sazae and sea urchin, which were priced similarly for one piece. It had been a while since I had sazae, and its crunchy texture and sea flavor were delightful. The raw red shrimp sushi was served with the head boiled separately. It was tasty. The fatty tuna was delicious, but it seemed more like medium fatty tuna to me. I wanted to try more dishes, but I was also interested in trying the tonkotsu ramen, so I decided to settle the bill. Overall, it was a reasonably priced and tasty meal. The wait in line was worth it. Thank you for the meal.

On the second day of my Fukuoka trip, I decided to go to a revolving sushi restaurant. I checked out popular places beforehand. I walked from Mitsui Garden Hotel Nakasu to Hakata Station. I went to "Mawaru Sushi Hakata Uogashi" located inside the station. I wanted to try different types of sushi, and a revolving sushi restaurant seemed like a good option where I could eat as much as I wanted. After this, I had plans to visit a ramen shop. I entered the restaurant and ordered uni, sea bream, and a few other types of sushi. The fish quality was good, and the sushi rice was decently tasty. I felt a bit guilty for ordering a small amount and leaving, but it turns out that revolving sushi restaurants in Hakata are also delicious.

When I arrived at the station and searched for a place to grab some sushi, I found out that there was a sushi restaurant inside. I went down to the underground level and found a line in front of the restaurant. I patiently waited and after about 5 minutes, I was seated inside. The sushi was revolving on a conveyor belt, but each plate had a photo tag instead of the actual sushi. I spotted some eel sushi and ordered that, along with a set. The taste of the sushi was decent for the price, nothing exceptional in terms of freshness. However, the highlight was the miso soup that came with plenty of fish bones (ara). As I looked around the restaurant and saw a few foreign tourists, I couldn't help but feel a warm sense of nostalgia.

I arrived around 11:30 on a weekday after leisurely shopping, only to find a long line. It took over 45 minutes to get in, but the turnover was impressively fast. I ordered the Anara soup, which was full of ingredients and even had two boiled eggs - a lucky find! The fish was thick and had a satisfying chewiness, while the vinegared rice was on the smaller side. My favorite eel was also delicious, with a nice fatty flavor. The seaweed had a strong aroma and added to the overall taste. I also tried the first mackerel of the season. Although it's a bit pricey, it's a well-deserved treat after payday.

The freshness and texture of the striped jack captured my heart, while the depth of flavor of the black mirugai impressed me. The richness of the flounder, the sweetness of the amberjack, and the exquisite taste of the red sea bream made my taste buds dance. When it comes to Kyushu, it has to be tamari soy sauce! The large soup bowl was also to my liking. And to finish it off, the bluefin tuna akami was perfect. Comparing the experience to a 50,000 yen sushi meal in Minato-ku, I couldn't help but laugh.
