The other day, after finishing lunch, I felt like having dessert and decided to visit this shop which I had heard was delicious. It was around 2 pm, and the shop was full with many people getting takeout as well. Honestly, I wasn't expecting much, but the dessert was very chewy and delicious, and I was very satisfied.

I stopped by a stylish crepe shop while waiting for a connection at Kusatsu Station. The person cooking there was also stylish. Since it was after lunch, I opted for a simple Sugar Butter crepe (450 yen). The carefully cooked crepe was heavier than I expected and had a nice texture. The combination of butter and sugar was excellent. It was also great in flavor as it was slightly burnt with a burner. It's nice to enjoy it slowly while having tea inside the shop. They also serve shaved ice, which might be a good match for hot summer days. Just be aware that they have many days off in August.

I know that galettes are made with buckwheat flour, but I wonder if it's rare to use rice flour? The rice used in this case is Yumepirika grown in our own garden in Rankoshi. Matsuko Deluxe also praised Yumepirika. The restaurant is small with table seating available for dining in. This time, I opted for takeout. I placed my order at the register and received my order in about 5 minutes. [Order] - Sweet Potato and Double Cream Crepe (¥750) There were many options to choose from, but I decided on the limited edition crepe available until March. When I received it from the cute female staff member, it felt substantial and voluminous. The roasted sweet potato had a fragrant aroma and was smooth and sweet. The chewy crepe was light and crispy. The Hokkaido pure cream and homemade custard cream also seemed to contain rice. [Summary] There is a wide variety of crepes available, from classic to meal-like options. There are three crepe shops in front of the Kutchan Station. One of the shops I visited today is run by a rice farmer from Kutchan, known for its delicious rice. In addition to rice flour crepes, they also offer canelés, cookies, and other treats made from rice flour. When I was a student, I used to eat crepes a lot in Harajuku. Since coming to Hokkaido, I always felt like something was missing when eating crepes here (not in terms of quantity). The crepes at this shop, while different from those in Harajuku, have a unique chewiness from the rice flour and a perfect balance of cream inside, which satisfied that missing element for me.

This place in Nakameguro is filled with handsome staff that captured my heart as a voice fetishist. The owner of the shop seems to be very charming. I ordered a meal crepe with pepper cheese to go. They offered to pack it for an additional 10 yen. The staff was so nice and I even ended up adding their Line account. The cookies and rice flour canelés were also delicious. The texture was satisfying, and the cheese and pepper flavors were just right. It seems like the shop was started by a rice farmer, and there was a beautiful wife as well. Rice flour crepes, hooray!

I went skiing in Niseko during the three-day weekend in March. After enjoying skiing in the morning, I decided to have a late lunch in Kutchan town. After having lunch near the station, I felt a bit hungry and decided to stop by a cafe called "cafe・crepe・riz" for a snack at 3 pm. This place is known for crepes made with rice flour. The location of the cafe was right across from JR Kutchan Station. I entered the cafe at 3:46 PM, and at that time, there were no other customers except for one person getting a takeout order. I looked at the menu at the counter and saw that they offered various types of butter crepes, banana crepes, strawberry crepes, red bean crepes, cream cheese crepes, and food crepes. They also had seasonal limited edition crepes and a special "Sugar Butter" crepe for March. The drink menu was also extensive, making it a suitable cafe. After some consideration, I decided to order the "Chocolat Banana Cream" crepe for 580 yen. I paid at the counter and then sat at a two-person table in the cafe. The crepe was ready in 3 minutes, and it was larger than I expected. The crepe was about 20 cm tall and had a width of 11 cm on top and 3 cm on the bottom. The crepe was folded about 8 times, giving it a thickness of about 3 cm. The color of the crepe was a light yellow with a slightly burnt aroma. The texture was crispy yet soft, which I assume was due to the rice flour. Inside the crepe, there were three slices of banana arranged horizontally, sandwiched between whipped cream and chocolate sauce. The creamy and slightly sweet whipped cream combined with the low bitterness and perfect sweetness of the chocolate sauce, harmonizing well with the mellow texture of the banana. The crepe was delicious and disappeared quickly. It was a tasty crepe with a balanced mix of crunchiness, aroma, and sweetness.

Just opened crepe shop located right in front of the station. The cute yellow shop has a lovely eat-in space. I tried the sugar butter and chocolate banana crepes made with rice flour. They were so chewy and delicious!! The whipped cream was incredibly smooth and tasty!! I must come back for more!! I look forward to visiting again on a drive.
