I was taken to a revolving sushi restaurant by someone from Fukuoka who suggested, "Let's go to a non-revolving sushi restaurant!" The lunch menu was limited to 20 servings during the day and was surprisingly luxurious for 1,100 yen. Well, I didn't eat there at night, but the cost performance was very good!

Kumamoto's main branch, commonly known as a "conveyor belt sushi" place, but there is no actual conveyor belt. When you order, the dishes are brought to your table on a lane. I had been curious about this place for a while and finally got the chance to eat there. Depending on the day, the place can be busy or not, but it seems like many people come for the limited lunch specials. I arrived around 11:15 and more customers started coming in. I have posted photos of the food, so it's up to personal preference whether the price of around 1,000 yen is considered expensive or cheap. Personally, I would give it a passing grade of 75-80. I was able to try sushi that I wouldn't normally choose and the miso soup with clams had a nice clam flavor. The sushi rice was on the smaller side and some of the toppings were also small. The eel I was looking forward to was disappointingly thin. The presentation was nice, especially with the raw shrimp. The sushi was properly hand-pressed despite the smaller size. The air conditioning was strong, so it got a bit dry towards the end of the meal. I still felt a bit hungry, so I ordered some grilled horse mackerel, which was quickly prepared upon request. Overall, I left satisfied. One thing that bothered me was the slow flow of hot water for tea. I dined alone this time, but I might bring someone with me next time. Thanks.

The cost performance is getting worse and worse. But are the number of customers increasing? This day was Sunday dinner time. There seem to be a lot of customers. I see people lining up. I'll go with the nigiri sushi set. There were also sets like handball sushi. The sushi itself was not particularly impressive. It might have been better at the department store sushi. But the prices are steadily increasing. I can't casually drink alcohol. There is a sense of being half-hearted.

The staff seemed to be short-handed as it took a while for someone to assist me after entering the restaurant. I came here because I wanted to try the seared salmon mayo, but it was not available on the touch panel menu, despite being displayed on the regular menu. However, I was really happy to see that the spring rolls were freshly fried and delicious!

"Sushi Jijiya in Fukuoka City, Japan is a must-visit spot for sushi lovers. The seared fatty tuna was amazing! The prices are reasonable, starting at just 100 yen more than conveyor belt sushi places. The sushi is delivered on a rail system, adding to the excitement. The rice was delicious, although the shari was a bit loose. They offer a wide variety of sushi rolls, making it a fun and tasty experience. I wish they had more locations! Overall, a great dining experience. #Fukuoka Izakaya #Izakaya #Tenjin Izakaya #Sake lover #Connect with sake lovers #Sake #Sake girl #Sake loving girl #Love sake #Fukuoka bar #Instagood #Instafood #Follow welcome #Connect with food and drink lovers #Hakata gourmet #Springy gourmet #Hakata Izakaya #Fukuoka dinner #Fukuoka gourmet #Sushi #Sushi"

I couldn't go to the restaurant I wanted to visit during my last business trip to Kumamoto. There is also one near my house in Fukuoka! The target is of course the limited 30 meals of 20 pieces for 1,100 yen! I arrived at 10:40 before opening, but there was already a line of nearly 20 people. There was barely one parking space available, so I decided to line up. The store opened promptly, and it seemed like we had to order in the order we lined up (using a touch panel), so I quickly ordered 3 servings. I made it in time. 10 minutes after opening, it was sold out. I recommend those aiming for this to line up early. The parking lot is small, with only enough space for 12-13 cars. The sushi is delicious, but overall, it is a bit small. Even though it's 20 pieces, it might be a bit unsatisfying for young people.

I also thought about having lunch at Lalaport since it is close by, but I was interested in a menu I saw on Instagram: 20 pieces (with clam soup) limited to 30 servings on weekdays for 1100 yen. I arrived around 11:20 and there were only about 11 plates left. I ordered using the touch panel and my food arrived in about 5-6 minutes. I was worried if I could eat all 20 pieces, but the sushi rice was small so I could surprisingly finish it. There were large raw shrimp, conger eel, hand-rolled sushi, spicy cod roe sushi, and seared sushi. The clam soup was also included, and considering the high prices nowadays, this was a good deal. By the time I was eating, it was already sold out before noon. The interior of the restaurant was old-fashioned, but the staff provided good service and the atmosphere was nice.

Limited to 20 pieces set: Sushi Jijiya Morooka Store {Morooka, Hakata-ku, Fukuoka City} On November 27, 2022 (Sunday), I visited Sushi Jijiya Morooka Store. Located along Chikushi Avenue, at one corner of the Morooka Yotsu-kado intersection. There is a spacious parking lot in front of the store. Inside the store, sushi does not rotate, but you order via a touch panel and the items come on a special express lane. I ordered the weekday limited 20-piece seafood set. Here it is, the 20-piece seafood set for 1,100 yen (tax included). Instead of being served one by one, they bring all 20 pieces at once, which is quite impressive. The miso soup had clams in it, adding a deep flavor. The sushi pieces were a bit small, with unique options like cherry shrimp, mentaiko, and seafood salad. The most eye-catching was this raw shrimp sushi. It had a firm and chewy texture, incredibly delicious. Visually appealing and satisfying sushi lunch. Morooka 4-1-29, Hakata-ku, Fukuoka City. Closed on holidays.

This time, I went to Sushi Jijya Moroka Store located at 4-1-29 Moroka, Hakata-ku, Fukuoka City. I visited for lunch around 2 pm, so I was seated promptly. I ordered using a tablet, and the dishes were brought to my table on a dedicated lane. I ordered 3 pieces of fresh fish for 385 yen, sardine for 165 yen, seared salmon with cheese for 198 yen, 3 pieces of spear squid for 132 yen, green onion and fatty tuna for 165 yen, seaweed miso soup for 220 yen, hand-rolled sushi for 165 yen, and 3 pieces of simmered conger eel for 165 yen. The prices were relatively reasonable for an out-of-town store, but some of the toppings were a bit small, which was disappointing. It might be worth coming earlier to try their limited-time items for a better deal. Thank you for the meal.

I saw it on Instagram and decided to go with two other adults. We arrived at 11:50 am on a weekday, and the restaurant was not very crowded. The lunch special sushi we were looking for was still available! 20 pieces with clam soup for only 1100 yen!! It was amazing even before we ordered! It took a little while for the food to arrive, but it was worth the wait. The colorful and plentiful sushi looked so good that we couldn't resist taking pictures (lol). And all this for 1100 yen! Amazing!! The taste was also great, so we will definitely be coming back here! It seemed like they might run out by around 12:30 pm, so I recommend coming early.

My daughter and I stopped by. I really like sushi restaurants where the plates go around in circles. Thank you for the meal! I recommend the hand-rolled sushi. Oh, and the squid is delicious too. Also, the chawanmushi is tasty. It's hard to reach 100 characters!

I went to a nearby restaurant and had a great meal. I unintentionally spoke like a boss to the old man there, but I really couldn't eat more than my stomach could handle. Thanks for the meal! Maybe next time I'll try to aim for 20 plates! 😄

So, let's keep it simple and straightforward. Reviewing something as trivial as a conveyor belt sushi restaurant won't attract many serious readers, right? Anyway, this place has a good variety of dishes and is quite a nice conveyor belt sushi spot! I'd rank it at 6th place in my personal conveyor belt sushi ranking. Thanks for the meal! Mission complete once I hit one hundred characters!

When I was a child, I always requested sushi all the time. Well, I'm still a child now. So, my family and I went to the restaurant, but there was nothing particularly noteworthy, so I'll just say it was delicious. Thank you for the meal!

Seafood 20-piece sushi set (limited to 20 servings on weekdays) @1100 yen. The sushi pieces are small, about the size of a small handball. The taste is a mix of delicious and average quality toppings, but overall it looks good and is cost-effective. The impact of the red shrimp is amazing, but it has a strong raw smell and the taste is not great. The clam soup was delicious. It is stated that there are only 20 servings available, but when I arrived around 12:30 pm, there were still 6 sets left, so maybe it's not as popular as expected.

I'm going because it's close! I really want to go to Kura Sushi, but it's far and crowded, so it's a hassle. This place is close by. What's that? 20 pieces for 1,100 yen! And they're all different kinds! Cheap! I was surprised when the sushi arrived. Oh, it's so cute! The sushi pieces are half-sized. It's a bit tough to savor them. But it's nice to be able to try a variety of them! We had some emergency beers after that. Followed by some Shima Bijin sake. We ate quickly and it cost us less than 3,000 yen for two people. It was just the right dinner.

Today, I had a drink at a nearby local sushi restaurant. Although I actually prefer Genkaimaru, it's a bit far to walk from home so I came here instead. This place has a lot of good points too, especially in terms of cost performance. The sushi here is all quite delicious. I feel like trendy sushi places these days tend to have softer rice. As for Gunkan, I wonder why they flavor the seaweed so much. But once you get used to it, even the flavored seaweed sushi isn't bad. The sake was a bit too warm from being heated in the microwave, but overall, it was a good meal!

Last time, when I ordered a cup of sake, they also brought me a small cup (lol). I was hoping for the same surprise this time, but unfortunately it didn't happen. Oh well! Moving on, having sushi at a conveyor belt sushi restaurant is a form of entertainment. There are people out there who eat sushi while receiving welfare, so it's not a big deal. As someone who pays a lot of taxes every year, it's a bit frustrating. Oh, by the way, the sea urchin I ordered was automatically canceled (@_@) I wonder why. Anyway, the sushi here is like fluffy rice balls with well-made toppings, almost like fish nigiri. The variety of dishes is great and it's an easy place to eat at. The rolls are also a good option, but the seaweed has too much flavor, almost like furikake (lol). But that's why on this day, the number one dish for me was the natto roll. Pairing it with ponzu sake is the best! Thank you for the meal. You can tell just by looking at it! (lol)

Sushi Jijya in Hakata-ku, Fukuoka City. Despite being in a good location for attracting customers, it seems like the restaurant has changed a few times. I was intrigued by the confidence of opening a sushi restaurant in the same genre where a revolving sushi restaurant had failed before. Recently, I feel like there are more revolving sushi restaurants without wasabi, so that alone gives a good impression. But it's a shame they only have sweet soy sauce from Kyushu. I ordered the "Gokumi Sushi Set" (1380 yen) which includes 10 pieces of squid, ark shell, fatty tuna, horse mackerel, salmon, sea bream, yellowtail, shrimp, sardine, and conger eel. The fatty tuna and sardine were better than expected, the rest were average. The clam soup was delicious with a rich clam flavor. The price is fair for what you get. I also added seared scallop (380 yen), seared turban shell (250 yen), chopped fatty tuna (250 yen), and chopped tuna with green onion (120 yen). The chopped yellowtail (150 yen) and my personal favorite, striped jack (300 yen) were satisfying. The total bill was 3113 yen. Honestly, I didn't feel completely satisfied for the price, but overall it wasn't a bad experience. However, it was concerning that there were only four customers (including myself) at 12:30. Is this place cursed?

I came to have sushi and a cup of sake~ The izakaya dishes at this revolving sushi restaurant are really good, you know~ When they asked me "Would you like a small cup?", I said yes! And they brought a cup for the sake (^-^;
