This is a curry restaurant next to the Family Mart in front of Gotenyama Station. I ordered the A set curry for 780 yen. You can choose from 4 types of curry, and I chose the spinach curry with normal spiciness. I also had a mango lassi for my drink, and for the naan, I chose plain. The set came with salad and soup, and you can get one free refill of plain naan. It was only 780 yen, which is cheap! And it was delicious! The dinner set is around 1200 yen at night, which is more expensive.

Before noon, there were surprisingly many elderly women in the restaurant. They seemed to be regular customers as more and more people related to them entered the restaurant and went into the back room. The Indian curry restaurant had a cozy atmosphere like a cafe, which was unexpected. I ordered the Chicken Biryani for ¥850, with a ¥50 discount coupon. It took about 10 minutes for the dish to be served. The rice seemed to be made from regular white rice, not Basmati rice. The dish had a deep orange color and included cucumber, large pieces of chicken, green peppers, carrots, and onions. The chicken was delicious. The dish was not dry and had a bit of oil, which might bother some people. The portion size was generous. The flavor was not as strong as the appearance suggested. The standout feature of the dish was its appearance. The soup had a strong powdery taste, similar to before. There were also two orders from Uber Eats and Demae-can. It seems like a popular restaurant in the area.

Cheese Naan Set for 1050 yen includes cheese naan, two types of curry, a drink, soup, salad, and chicken wings. Additionally, you can enjoy all-you-can-eat plain naan, fried naan, and honey naan. The cheese naan has a hint of sweetness and pairs well with the mildly spicy curries. I chose the daily specials of eggplant and keema curries, both of which had similar flavors. The drink was a lassi, a sweet yogurt-like beverage. The soup had a thick peppery flavor. The salad had a slightly sweet red dressing typical of Indian and Nepalese cuisine. I wasn't a fan of the chicken wings as they had a strong odor and didn't taste like chicken. Lastly, I ordered the fried naan which was served hot and had a less chewy texture compared to the others. The Cheese Naan Set is satisfying even for big eaters, but it's almost impossible to have more than three pieces due to stomach capacity.

I tried fried naan for the first time and it was quite delicious! I visited an Indian restaurant called AKRITI in Gotenyama, and it was a great experience. The lunch set I ordered included free refillable naan, a drink, a choice of two curries, chicken, soup, and salad. The atmosphere was nice with Indian music playing in the background. The salad and soup were tasty, and the fried naan was fluffy and slightly sweet, which I really enjoyed. The curries had a good level of spiciness, and the chicken was delicious. I recommend this place for a satisfying Indian meal.

A specialty Indian restaurant located right by Gotenyama Station. The vibrant orange and national flag colors of the facade stand out. The interior is minimal with three tables and a few seats at the counter. The staff is friendly and the decor is understated, creating a cozy atmosphere. I chose the Lunch Set B Curry with a choice of two types - I went with Spinach Chicken Curry and Naan with fried Naan. I selected spice level 4 out of 5. The spinach curry had chunks of potatoes, while the chicken curry had large pieces of chicken in a rich sauce. The fried Naan was fluffy and slightly sweet, pairing well with the curry. The chicken wings were flavored with curry and were juicy. I had a Lassi drink, which provided a refreshing sweetness to complement the spicy dishes. This restaurant is a rare find for lunch in the Gotenyama area where dining options are limited.

Hello, I'm Matsuodeluxe, in charge of eating at the YouTube channel "Foodie Channel". Today, I visited "Indian-Nepalese Cuisine AKRITI" near Gotenyama Station. We also have a video on the Foodie Channel, so please check it out if you're interested ♥
This restaurant near Keihan Gotenyama Station offers delicious curry, but the fried naan was the highlight! While cheese naan is common, fried naan is rare and absolutely delicious! It's crispy on the outside and fluffy inside, making it irresistible. In addition to the classic curries, they also have a daily special curry. The student lunch set is only 650 yen and comes with unlimited naan refills! The Indian staff working there were very friendly.

Both curries are on the sweeter side. Great value for money.
