My wife treated me to a yakiniku lunch, but it was hard to find a good restaurant in southern Osaka that serves lunch. After driving around, we finally found this place. We all ordered the "Satsuma Wagyu Assorted Lunch" - a plate beautifully arranged with tongue, Harami (skirt steak), black wagyu beef, pork belly, chicken, sausage, and sweet potato. It came with kimchi, seaweed soup, and rice for 1,280 yen. The set was perfect. Now, it all comes down to whether the meat is delicious or not to judge the cost performance. The tongue was thinly sliced, so I lightly seared it with lemon juice. Oh, it's delicious. It was thin yet had a good texture and chewiness. The pork belly was fatty, so I lightly grilled it with rock salt. Mmm, tasty. The wagyu beef was a bit tough. Each piece of meat was only two slices, so I tried adjusting the cooking time, but even when cooked thoroughly, it still had a resistant chewiness that made it hard to bite through. Not the best. The Harami was... well, it was Harami (laughs). The moderate chewiness and the flavor that oozes out as you chew made it quite delicious. I paid an extra 150 yen to switch the rice for a mini bibimbap. Eating little by little while grilling was enjoyable, and I started feeling full, so the mini portion was satisfying. The restaurant faces a busy intersection on a large two-lane road, making it a bit challenging to park, but the interior has a luxurious feel, and each table is in its own private space, allowing for a calm dining experience. With this quality, the cost performance is satisfactory! Having a leisurely yakiniku lunch when you have plenty of time is truly a luxurious experience!
