The hamburger in the Soup Hamburger is really soft and delicious, cooked in onion soup. Unfortunately, I didn't like the steak sauce, but it was delicious to eat it as it is or with mustard.

I visited Osaka for 2 days on a business trip. After finishing my first day in Morigata, I headed from Kitahama to Tenkachaya via the Nankai train to Sakai. I went to Showamachi Boston on the 1st floor of Platt Platt, directly connected to Sakai Station. The main store in Abeno was established in 1952, making it a well-established hamburger shop. I had decided to visit this place after eating at the neighboring "musi-vege+" last time. The exterior and interior have a nice country-style atmosphere. I arrived a little after 7:30 pm and about half of the seats were occupied, so it was surprisingly easy to get in. I had already decided on my order by looking at the showcase at the entrance. I chose the Mixed Grill for 1,560 yen, which includes Demi-glace Hamburger (160g), Sausage, and Chicken Saute. Even though it's a hamburger shop, I didn't choose a hamburger menu, but rather a combination menu because I wanted to try a variety of dishes. I chose the smallest 160g option since I wasn't very hungry after having eel bowl and tea soba for lunch, and I've been eating a lot of hamburgers recently. However, even though the hamburger itself was cheap, the set was a bit on the pricier side. After waiting for about 10 minutes, my meal was served, and it looked delicious with the sizzling sound. While the meat juice wasn't as much as I had expected, the hamburger was juicy and the Demi-glace sauce was delicious. A good point was the "extra Demi" sauce served on the side, which was a nice touch. The sausage and chicken saute served on the side were also tasty. The only disappointment was that they were out of draft beer, even though it was only 7:30 pm. Overall, it was a delicious meal.

There is a hamburger restaurant in the commercial facility at Sakai Station. I have been to the one in Namba before, but this is my first time here. I think the main store is in Showa-cho. Simmered Soup Hamburg 200g ¥1,680 - A specialty that can only be tasted in Boston [DINNER SET] ¥650 - Rice, Soup, Mini Salad It has been 2 years since my last visit. Before the pandemic, I used to come here often and have posted 12 times in the past. The chef used to have a friendly demeanor and taught me about the Simmered Soup Hamburg. He recommended eating it as a risotto by adding rice at the end, and even brought me extra rice. This unique Soup Hamburg is very delicious, so please try it out.

In October of the 4th year of Reiwa, during lunchtime (11:00-15:00), you can enjoy a 200g simmered soup hamburger for 1680 yen. This soup hamburger is packed with vegetables, cheese, and other ingredients, making it delicious. You can add rice to the soup halfway through and enjoy it as a risotto-like dish at the end. During lunchtime, all menu items come with rice or bread, a mini soup, and a mini salad for free. Additionally, you can have unlimited rice refills, which is very convenient.

I visited around 1 pm on Saturday afternoon. It was busy but there were seats available. This branch seems to be an extension of the main store in Showa-cho, Osaka. I ordered the Beef Cutlet Combo. Rice is not included so you have to order it separately, and the total came to just over 2000 yen. It was delicious.

I passed by and decided to try the Demi-glace Hamburger (1,180 yen tax included) with an additional order of rice (200 yen tax included) at Showa-cho Boston. The taste and portion size were not bad, but compared to family restaurant quality, it felt a bit overpriced.

On a Sunday afternoon at 1 pm, feeling hungry, I parked my car at the Sakai Ekimae Platt Platt parking lot. I stumbled upon a well-known shop in Showa-cho and decided to visit their branch. As I entered, I was greeted by a smiling lady and shown to a table. The country-style interior had a variety of seating options, including wall counters and tables for 2 to 4 people. After looking through the menu, I ordered the simmered hamburger steak for ¥1480, opting for the 300g portion for an additional ¥400 and adding rice for ¥200. The food arrived in about 15 minutes, and the large hamburger steak with demi-glace sauce looked appetizing. The sauce was flavorful, and the juicy meat inside the hamburger was delicious. The dish was hot, but the combination of flavors was perfect. The addition of potatoes, carrots, and broccoli added freshness and color to the meal. Overall, I enjoyed the nostalgic atmosphere and the delicious hamburger steak at the Showacho Boston Platt Platt branch near Sakai Station. Highly recommended!

As a feature, the special soup is light and the flavor of the hamburger melts in it, creating an exquisite hamburger. On my second visit, the chef recommended the soup hamburger and taught me a delicious way to eat it. He said that if you put the remaining rice in the soup and eat it, it becomes like a "risotto." I wanted to eat something delicious, so I went to Sakai Station and found a hamburger restaurant. I decided to try the Ebi Fry Combo with shrimp fry and hamburger because I wanted to try a variety of dishes. I also ordered rice and a glass of draft beer. My friend ordered the Cheese Baked Hamburger. The hamburgers that arrived were delicious! The shrimp fry was also tasty and went well with the beer. On July 31, 2020, it was cloudy. This is my 11th post. Today, I ordered a new menu item. The Boston specialty Soup Hamburg for ¥1,780. It is a delicious hamburger with a light special soup that blends perfectly with the flavor of the hamburger. I also ordered the Boston's specialty menu dinner set for ¥550.

I visited Sakai Station after a long time, probably around 10 years ago. I had been looking forward to going to this restaurant for a while. The hamburg steak was delicious, and you could have seconds if you wanted. One thing that I found a bit disappointing was that it would be better if they had some kind of recommendation on the menu, like "if you come to this restaurant, try this set!" Also, I felt that the prices were a bit high. With this pricing, I don't think I would choose to come back here over other nearby restaurants. The taste is good though, so I hope they improve their presentation.

I ordered the Cheese Baked Hamburger 300g for ¥1,380 with a 400g upgrade, and a glass of red wine for ¥540. The dinner set included salad, corn soup, and rice. Unfortunately, they were sold out of bread, which is a good sign of how busy they are. The hamburger tonight was outstanding as always. It was filled with sincerity, and I finished it all in no time. Due to the impact of the coronavirus, I visited the restaurant after a long time. I ordered the Cheese Hamburg 300g with jumbo fried prawns dinner set, which came with salad, bread, and corn soup. In the mood for a hearty meal, I stumbled upon a Western-style restaurant called "Showacho Boston" in the station building. Established in 1952 in Abeno, it's a long-standing establishment with a calm, woody atmosphere. Soft AOR music is playing. There were only about two other groups of customers, probably because it was early. The menu mainly features hamburg steak, beef stew, gratin, and more. I ordered the classic demi-glace hamburger steak (1180 yen) with a dinner set (550 yen) and a draft beer (600 yen). The corn soup was rich and tasty. The salad, though small, was crunchy. The Japanese-style dressing had a French-like flavor that I enjoyed. The ice-cold Ichiban beer was delicious. The hamburger steak was served sizzling hot on a hot plate. You dip it in the demi-glace sauce and enjoy the juiciness. The hamburger steak was standard, not incredibly tasty, but comforting and satisfying. The slightly sweet demi-glace sauce paired excellently with the rice. It was a nostalgic and delicious experience at this long-standing Western-style restaurant. Thank you for the meal.
