After lunch, I had some time so I came for tea and ended up eating a chocolate croissant (lol). It was reliably delicious, just right for passing the time! The location and menu were perfect. It's a casual cafe where you can easily stop by. It wasn't too crowded. It was good.

I took a little break during lunchtime. I was hoping to find a place with an outlet, but it was almost full and I managed to secure a seat. I ordered a sandwich and a cafe au lait. First, I had the drink. It was comforting. The sandwich was also filled with plenty of ingredients, almost overflowing. I was able to relax for about 30 minutes.

Recently, I tried something a little different during my weekend lunch and food adventures to keep things interesting. I decided to slightly increase the price per meal, spending over 1,000 yen each time. When I was exploring udon in Kagawa, I tried ordering the set menu which ended up filling me up easily. Even though I indulged a bit too much, I had two satisfying meals that day. To reset my stomach, I drank some coffee after. I visited a popular cafe on the 2nd floor of Tennoji MIO where I ordered a small size San Marco blend coffee for 300 yen. The cafe offers three sizes of coffee, but I resisted the temptation to order the regular size which is usually too much for me. The small size here is already equivalent to the standard size at local coffee shops. By the time I finished my coffee, I had completed the draft of this review. Overall, the coffee at San Marco is as delicious as my beloved Co**da coffee, but it tends to make me thirsty. As a side note, this branch of the cafe is named South Sea Tennoji Store, even though there is no Tennoji Station on the Nankai Railway. I wonder what the connection to Nankai is.

A little break was helpful... On the second floor, there are many bars and pubs in the front, and at the very back was where I sat. There are quite a few seats available. You can see people coming and going at the station from the window, which adds to the picturesque view. I always try the seasonal limited items as much as possible because Sanmark's items are usually good quality and cost-effective! This time, I tried the warabi mochi in hojicha latte. The warabi mochi had just the right firmness, resembling tapioca, and paired well with the hojicha latte. The drink was at a good concentration after the ice melted a bit, in my opinion. The only thing I noticed was that since the main staff are usually student part-timers, there seems to be a difference in skill levels in terms of service and cashier handling between different stores or even different times. Nowadays, there are many things to remember, like various cards and electronic money, but I hope they can be properly instructed to realize things on their own and become efficient at the register. If there are a number of people bustling at the counter, maybe assigning one person to go out to the floor in order to wipe down and disinfect empty tables in order would be possible? Today's store was a bit slow, with a line forming at the register and tables left dirty after customers left. I remember the Sanmark in Kiyamachi, Kyoto, as the best among the ones I've been to in terms of being able to do this efficiently and feeling good about it.

- Croquant Chocolat Crunch
The first bite of this is heavy...! It has quite a rich taste from the start. However, it's not so heavy that you can't eat it. It has a strong and sweet flavor that gives you a satisfying crunch.
- Yuzu Lemon Soda
The yuzu and lemon flavors are nice.

There are often many shops that are popular but surprisingly have few reviews written about them... I went to Sanmark in Tennoji, where I ordered the lunch set with a Honey Mustard Chicken Sandwich and a Chocolate Crodrink for 620 yen. The sandwich had a good crunch from the hard bread, and I was surprised to find okra inside. The slimy texture of the okra added a nice contrast to the sandwich, and the balanced mix of vegetables made it delicious. This might become my go-to lunch choice!

On Sunday morning, there are not many shops open, so I decided to go to this chain store. I often use Saint Marc Cafe. The store is located on the second floor of the station, but there are escalators and elevators, so you can easily go to the second floor. There are a total of 96 seats, so it seems quite large. The staff, including product delivery, coffee extraction, and cashier, were all managed by four women. Saint Marc Cafe seems to bake bread in the store, so there must be staff in unseen areas. The hot coffee is foamy coffee, so it might be espresso from a commercial coffee extraction machine. The daily bread was tuna this time, and it seemed freshly baked in the store, and it was very delicious.

I had never been to this cafe before, even though I had seen it in various places. I decided to go there with a friend for a morning meet-up and a light breakfast. It was around 9:30 am and luckily there were seats available. The place was almost full when we left. We ordered the Morning Set, which included bread and a drink. The daily special bread was sausage, so we opted for the limited edition Daimando Choco Croissant instead. We were a bit confused about how to place our order, but eventually figured it out. The Daimando Choco Croissant was like a croissant with a gooey chocolate cream filling, similar to a combination of a croissant and a melon pan. It was delicious, but a bit heavy for the morning. The coffee was surprisingly easy to drink, and we ended up finishing everything. It reminded me of a typical Italian breakfast. I don't usually have morning sets, but it was a nice change of pace.

I visited Dessert at 10:15 after morning. It is located on the south side of M2F in MIO Plaza. The ceiling feels a bit low. It was quite crowded with customers. I decided to try the choco cro d'almond instead of the Thursday morning set with toast sand (egg-filled) that I have had before. It was a bit difficult to eat as it crumbled, but the texture was different from a regular choco cro.

I went to Sanmark Cafe in MIO! The lunch was bustling! Among them, you can get a lunch set for around 500 yen, which is cheap! Before work, I stopped by quickly! The chocolate croissant is delicious. They also have matcha and pudding flavors! I prefer the classic chocolate though! On weekdays for lunch, it's not too crowded so if you're busy, definitely stop by and have a quick lunch!

The space is nice. You can stay for a long time without being kicked out. It's cheap to use when you want to concentrate or chat. Highly recommended.
