浜のゴジラ
This time at Hamazushi, I was aiming for the 100 yen black wagyu beef, Hokkaido-produced sanma, and Ehime-produced live tai. Hamazushi is located in Chiyoda. There is a bus from Chiyoda to Shime Town, where the main store is located. So, I planned to go to Shime Town with about 5 plates. However, the sanma was incredibly delicious. The toro iwashi was also very tasty. The black wagyu beef was like roast beef as shown in the photo, but it was simply delicious. The squid tempura was also delicious, and so was the tai. My impression of Hamazushi changed completely, it's actually really good. From the perspective of Nishi Ward residents, there are two Sushiro stores in Nogata and Itoshima, but Hamazushi is only available in Hakata Ward, crossing over to Sawara Ward and Chuo Ward. So, even though you don't have to go all the way to Hamazushi, Sushiro is still tastier. However, Sushiro only has vinegared iwashi, so having raw iwashi available is a huge plus. Then, I ordered yellowtail. Looking at what others ordered, it was definitely delicious yellowtail. However, Hamazushi casually serves up end cuts. End cuts of roast beef, end cuts of fish. In Yakuin, there's a 500 yen end cut bowl at Nihon De, which is cheap and actually quite attractive. However, Hamazushi serves up end cuts at the same 100 yen price. If the end cut of yellowtail were to come out... Actually, just before I ordered, a yellowtail end cut was served as an order. So, I thought the next one wouldn't be an end cut and ordered, but then I realized that an end cut is not necessarily just one piece. And finally, the yellowtail arrived. I hesitantly looked down the lane and... Bam! Surprised, happy, and moved all at once, my chest and eyes welled up with emotion. Tuna belly! Not an end cut, but the elusive premium red meat tuna belly appeared. A unique elasticity and richness overflow from the tuna belly. I never expected to order yellowtail and have tuna belly come out. Could it be because of my good deeds? Thank you, God, Buddha, Jesus, whoever, thank you.
