This is a shop where you can enjoy different daily ramen and tsukemen menus each time. There is no regular menu, and you can check the menu for the day on social media in the morning. It's just past 12 o'clock now, a time when a line was expected, but surprisingly there was no line. I bought a meal ticket from the machine and entered the shop, which was already full. I had to wait outside for a while, and more and more people lined up behind me. After about 10 minutes, I got inside. Today's limited menu is chicken white broth seafood tsukemen. The noodles are homemade medium thick noodles, with a firm texture typical of this shop. On top, there are komatsuna, menma, nori, and sudachi, with charred sliced chashu. First, I tried the soup, which looks rich but is unexpectedly light, with a delicious blend of chicken umami and seafood flavor. The homemade medium thick noodles are well coated with the chicken white broth seafood soup, making it delicious. The textures of komatsuna and leeks are good, and the crispy menma is tasty. Squeezing the sudachi adds a refreshing touch, and the aroma of the nori is nice. The charred sliced chashu is fragrant, with a good chewy texture. After finishing the noodles, I had a bit of rice, a finishing touch. I added it to the soup, along with vinegar and chili oil from the table, creating a delicious finish with the acidity and spiciness. It was a delicious bowl that always offers a new taste to enjoy.

On Thursday at noon, around 12:30, there were two groups waiting in line before me, but I was able to get in after about 10-15 minutes. This time, I had the spicy beef stamina dipping noodles, and they were seriously delicious. I could easily handle the large portion, and I finished the rice too. The broth had a subtle garlic flavor, and I could tell that the owner pays a lot of attention to it. I thought it might be too spicy because it had "spicy" in the name, but even people who don't like spicy food could easily eat it. I will definitely go back again!

I visited a popular ramen shop called "Tenroku" after 7 years. I had their spicy tonkotsu mazesoba with a side of rice. The noodles were a bit bland, so I added some shichimi, chili oil, and vinegar from the table to enhance the flavor. It was a unique dish but not worth waiting in line for so long. I think I prefer their regular tsukemen.

The Umeda Hankyu Department Store, which was having a championship sale, was the most crowded I've ever seen, especially since it was a Sunday. I quickly escaped the atmosphere and headed to Gunjou. Even though it was past lunchtime, there were still 7 people waiting outside, which was within my expectations. I ordered the Spicy Garlic Tonkotsu Mazesoba for 900 yen and added a medium-sized rice for 100 yen. The dish arrived with a light garlic aroma. The toppings were quite luxurious, almost like a premium level at other restaurants. After mixing everything thoroughly, I eagerly slurped up the noodles. It was delicious! The thick homemade noodles paired perfectly with the tonkotsu soup, and each ingredient was tasty on its own. Lastly, I placed the chashu on top of the rice and enjoyed it together. Mixing the remaining ingredients and soup with the rice left me feeling completely satisfied. Thank you for the meal.

Tonight is said to be the day of the Hanshin Tigers' victory, and middle-aged men wearing replica uniforms can be seen here and there in the Umeda area. Today's menu at GUNJYO is the Awaodori chicken ramen for 850 yen. I purchase a miso flavored egg for 100 yen and a luro rice for 300 yen. I enter the shop smoothly just past lunchtime. The soup is light and very delicious soy sauce-based soup. The thin noodles mix well with the soup. The highlight is the thin slices of char siu, with a savory aroma from being seared enhancing the appetite. The miso flavored egg has a great texture and taste as always. The tender meat flavor of the luro rice goes very well with this light soup. Thank you for the wonderful meal as always.

This time, I went to "Gunjo"! I arrived a little after 2 PM and waited for almost an hour! I ordered the Tori Shiratama Seafood Mazesoba (900 yen) this time. The thick noodles were soaked in flavor and were very delicious! Thank you for the meal!

On the 2nd Saturday of September, I went to Gunjou in Tenjinbashi Rokuchome for some noodle exploration. This area is well-known for its many famous ramen shops, but I headed straight to Gunjou without checking the Instagram information. Upon arrival, I found out they only served maze soba that day, instead of the soup-based ramen I had planned to eat. I purchased a ticket for the Tori Shirodare Gokai Maze Soba with Ajitama and waited in line. As I waited on a small brick-lined street filled with eateries, I was reminded of the bricks in Shinjuku's Araki-cho. I patiently lined up there too, with the brick wall at my back, to enjoy a bowl of ramen. Now in Osaka, I couldn't resist the magnetic pull (or was it the aroma of the soup?) of ramen standing by the brick wall. After about 40 minutes, I finally entered the shop. Since I rarely eat maze soba, I approached it with an open mind. I was surprised by the original sauce, luxurious toppings (deep-fried eggplant and okra, thick-sliced char siu), and homemade noodles. Without slurping the soup, I alternated between the noodles and toppings, adding the mazemaze seasoning, creating a blissful experience different from soup noodles. After finishing my meal and placing the empty bowl on the counter, I saw the owner wrapping a thick towel around his waist. Did he remind me of the "Tsukemen God" from Ikebukuro, or was it just my imagination? I look forward to trying their Chuka Soba next time. #TenjinbashiRokuchome #Gunjou #MazeSoba

The restaurant had high ratings and I waited in line with high expectations, but the taste was not as great as I had hoped. It seems they only offer one type of ramen each day, and on 9/9 Saturday it was maze-soba. The noodles were very thick and delicious, and the flavored egg was perfectly runny and tasty. I wished I could have tried their tsukemen instead.

Group blue bird pork white soup soy sauce dipping noodles large serving ¥1,150. The chicken and pork are rich, yet the fish sauce adds a sweet flavor to the delicious dipping sauce, which is addictive. The extra thick noodles made from premium 100% Kyoto wheat using homemade knife-cutting technique #9 are called "strong noodles" and have a unique deliciousness. Even the soup refills were enjoyable. ✨perfect✨

During weekdays, for lunch, it's located on Brick Street where the red bricks line up, right outside the 1st exit of Tenjinbashi Rokuchome Station. You purchase your ticket from the machine outside and then wait in line for about 15 minutes before entering. The menu changes daily, so make sure to check on Instagram before visiting. The thick, flat noodles have a strong chewy texture with a bitter wheat flavor from finely ground whole wheat. When you pour the vinegar citrus over it, you get a refreshing taste. The white broth dipping sauce made from chicken and pork broth mixed with soy sauce is thick and creamy, with a strong pork flavor that isn't overpowering or heavy. The soy sauce adds just the right amount of flavor, allowing you to fully enjoy the animal umami. The thinly sliced five pieces of thigh meat are lightly seared, giving them a crispy, smoky flavor of meat umami. The combination of the bitter, chewy thick noodles and the full-bodied dipping sauce was satisfying. Thank you for the meal.

I visited a ramen shop in Tenroku where the menu changes daily. It was my first time there and I went early in the evening, but the place was packed. The special that day was chicken and pork white soy dipping noodles. The chewy noodles paired perfectly with the rich soup and it was very delicious. I will definitely revisit when they have a different menu.

This was my first visit to Gunjo. The menu changes daily, which has piqued my interest in this restaurant for a while. Finally, I was able to come as my day off coincided with their opening hours! I arrived 30 minutes before opening and was the first in line. While waiting, the menu board was changed to today's offerings. Today's menu included Awa Cha Mikan Jisoba for 850 yen and Pork Cartilage Lolo Rice Plate for 300 yen. The noodles had a smooth texture and paired well with the soup. The soup had a delicious chicken flavor that lasted until the last drop! The Lolo Rice Plate was more filling than I expected. I would like to revisit and try a different menu next time.

On Sunday, I accidentally arrived at 11 o'clock and the line was 1,1, with the store opening 30 minutes later. I bought my meal ticket first, and today's dish was spicy garlic mixed noodles. I chose the large portion and waited in the heat for about 20 minutes before being seated in the restaurant. My noodles arrived in about ten minutes and they were delicious. Truly a top-notch restaurant! They change their menu daily, so I'm looking forward to trying the garlic fried rice next time.

The cold blue ramen with dried fish broth and soy sauce at this restaurant was straightforward in flavor, allowing you to enjoy it without any added twists. The homemade thick noodles made with Hokkaido wheat were chewy and delicious. The restaurant is located at 6-3-26 Tenjinbashi, Kita-ku, Osaka.

I visited at 5:45 pm on a regular day. There was only one other customer. It took about 15 minutes until the food was served. The noodles were a bit thick, so maybe that's why it took longer. The noodles had a decent firmness. Overall, everything else was pretty average. I knew that the menu changes daily, but it seems like I got a disappointing dish on my first try.

Thank you for always reading. If you like it, I would be happy if you could bookmark the store by clicking the "Save Store" button. While browsing Instagram, I came across a post by Gunjo. On August 21st (Monday) in the evening session from 17:00 to 19:00, they are serving Chuka Soba for 800 yen, extra noodles for 150 yen, and Garlic Fried Rice for 300 yen. Gunjo is a place where you never know what you'll get until you go. When I asked my wife if I could go, she said OK! I visited Gunjo in the evening. Gunjo changes their menu almost every day, so please make sure to check their Instagram before visiting. Gunjo is located at 6-3-26 Tenjinbashi, Kita-ku, Osaka, a 2-minute walk from Osaka Metro Tenjinbashi 6-chome Station. It is located on the east side of a narrow brick street lined with unique shops. I arrived at the store a little before 7:00 PM. Their current regular holidays are on Wednesdays, Fridays, and holidays. Weekday hours are 11:30-15:00, 17:00-19:00, and weekend hours are 11:30-16:00. Please check the Instagram posts before going. There were 8 people waiting outside! It is still very popular. I couldn't talk to the regular customers who visit every day on business days. First, I bought meal tickets from the vending machine - I put money into the vending machine and selected the items: Chuka Soba, extra noodles, Miso Flavored Egg, and Garlic Fried Rice. The total was 1,350 yen. After getting permission to take photos, I sat at the counter seat! I handed the meal tickets to the owner and greeted him. I was looking forward to seeing what the Chuka Soba would look like today! It's a no-no to look at the ramen of the person next to you! After a while, the dishes were served one by one. The visual with drool is still the same! The smell of garlic and soup is so good! Let's eat! First, the soup! It's a pork and chicken half-milk emulsified dried fish soy sauce soup, with a smooth mouthfeel and the umami of the soup spreading in the mouth. The dried fish flavor is strong, and the emulsification and balance are wonderful! The hot homemade noodles are made of 100% Hokkaido wheat N15, thick and straight! The chewy noodles have a solid wheat flavor! Next, the Garlic Fried Rice! The ingredients are simple: egg, garlic, green onions, seaweed. The butter and garlic aroma is intense! The quality is outstanding for 300 yen, much better than the average Chinese restaurant. The ramen toppings include seared chashu, bamboo shoots, green onions, and miso-flavored egg! The balance of the chashu and ramen is excellent! I chose pickled ginger for the flavor change of the Garlic Fried Rice! The taste is elevated by the pickled ginger! I enjoyed the miso-flavored egg and finished my meal happily! I thanked the couple and left Gunjo. Thank you for the delicious meal! I'll be back! Thank you for reading until the end. I hope this information will be helpful for your gourmet experiences.

After drinking at Tenma Sake Brewery, would you like to have ramen as a final meal? So, we headed to Gunjo in Tenroku, which is known for legendary ramen shops like Yashichi, Mutteppou, and Ramen Jinsei JET that have been leading the Osaka ramen scene up to today. Gunjo currently offers various types of ramen and tsukemen that change daily, and I was very excited to visit for the first time in probably about 10 years. We arrived around 5:50 PM, bought a ticket for the limited edition "Chuka Soba" at the ticket machine, and entered the shop. There were 5 customers ahead of us, and I was surprised to see that the interior of the shop had become much brighter compared to before. After about 10 minutes of waiting, the ramen was served. I took a sip of the soup... at first, the bonito flavor hits you strongly, but at the same time, you can also taste the gentle and rich flavor of chicken and pork bone, which was very delicious. The noodles were thick and chewy straight noodles with a satisfying texture, and I couldn't stop eating them. The chashu was not braised pork but grilled pork, with a sweet fatty part that was also delicious. I think this ramen is of a very high level with a well-balanced taste. I am grateful that even after 15 years since its opening, they continue to provide such wonderful ramen. It was really delicious! Thank you for the meal♪♪♪

I pray to the sky for no waiting outside and enter the restaurant on Brick Street. I purchased a ticket for Chuka soba for 800 yen, miso flavored egg for 100 yen, and garlic fried rice for 300 yen. Luckily, there was a seat available. The soup has a strong bonito flavor and a rich taste that slowly comes through, very delicious. The homemade thick noodles have a good chewy texture and go well with the soup. The chashu is soft and tasty. The sweetened menma is also good. This was my first time trying the garlic fried rice here, and it was surprisingly delicious, better than at other Chinese restaurants. It's hard to believe the quality for just 300 yen. I'm glad I came and enjoyed a delicious meal at Gunjo. Thank you for the meal.

This time, I had hiyashi chuka! By the way, the last time I visited, I had curry tsukemen. I'm starting to feel like I want to try the normal ramen soon, but the timing hasn't been right. The noodles this time were thick and chewy. The sauce was a homemade mayonnaise sauce with a spicy kick from mustard and a refreshing taste. The menu may change, but the chashu remains the same, with thick slices of meat. The noodles are delicious as always. Next time, I'll aim to visit on a day when they have the normal ramen!

Visited on August 19, 2023 (Saturday) at 11:40. This popular ramen shop is located near Tenjinbashi Rokuchome Station. They have a unique concept of changing their menu daily, with no regular menu available. On this day, they were serving "Chicken White Broth Seafood Tsukemen". You can check the menu every morning on their Instagram. The shop is located in a back alley-like area called Brick Street. Upon arrival, there was already a line of about 10 people. After waiting for about 35 minutes, we were able to enter at 12:15! We were seated and served within 10 minutes. Shop Features: - Only 7 counter seats in the shop - Payment is by food ticket only, cash only - Abundant condiments on the table, tissue available Order: - Chicken White Broth Seafood Tsukemen / ¥1,000 [Tsukemen Broth]: A sweet chicken white broth soup with a strong seafood soy sauce flavor. The viscosity is quite high, which pairs well with the noodles. However, the sweetness can become overwhelming, so adding vinegar or yuzu halfway through is the best way to change the flavor. [Noodles]: Medium-thick straight noodles with a fluffy wheat aroma. Smooth and firm with a good chew. The portion is generous, around 250g. [Toppings]: Smoked chashu, komatsuna (Japanese mustard spinach), green onions, menma (bamboo shoots), seaweed. Overall Impression: It's amazing how they maintain such quality with a daily changing menu. The bowl is well-balanced and can be customized to personal preference with the variety of condiments available. There were many female customers as well. I wonder how many different menu items they have...I'll make sure to check regularly from now on. Thank you for the meal!

I arrived at 11 o'clock and there were 7 people ahead of me. With only 7 seats inside, I had to wait for the second round to enter. I got my bowl around 12 o'clock. Today's special was "Chicken White Soup Seafood Tsukemen". The soup had a strong seafood flavor rather than just chicken, and it was incredibly delicious. The thick noodles had a unique aroma of wheat that was delightful. If this is the kind of ramen the owner always makes, then I'm sure every bowl is of high quality. I will definitely visit this place again when I come to Osaka.
