I went to a bar where you can enjoy delicious Japanese sake and snacks! It's called Shinsekai Sakaba Shokudo Jakoiichi Maido! Yamadera (^_^♪ On this day, I enjoyed a sake crawl in Shinsekai - the first stop was at a place called Jakoiichi. I have also uploaded a video on YouTube, so please check it out if you're interested. Let's get straight to the visit to the restaurant! This bar has delicious Japanese sake, and among them, my favorite Kisenju is available in two types. There is Kuromatsu Kisenju Junmai sake for 480 yen and Kisenju Kichikou Junmai Ginjo for 580 yen. I ordered both this time (laughs). The snack to go with the sake is Nishin Chips for 250 yen. It has a light salty taste, a wonderful aroma, and the flavor comes out more as you chew. It goes perfectly with the sake. Another dish we ordered was sashimi, which is sourced fresh daily from the fish market. On this day, there was Maguro for 580 yen, so we ordered it. It looked like Toro, and indeed, the sweetness of the fatty tuna spread in the mouth. It's amazing when paired with sake! Another dish was Katsuo for 480 yen. Eating it with Ponzu sauce is delicious, but trying it with coarse salt is also great! We also had the addictive cucumber dish. It refreshes the mouth nicely. Another specialty of Jakoiichi is hormone dishes. This time, we ordered Comekami for 380 yen and Kashira for 380 yen. Both are juicy and delicious as you chew. We also ordered Iburi Gakko for 250 yen. Eating this while sipping sake is pure bliss. To finish, we had Tamago Kake Gohan for 280 yen. The rice used is Hino Hikari from Nara prefecture, and it's shiny and delicious. Of course, turning this into Tamago Kake Gohan is a must! You can enjoy draft beer for 280 yen and dishes starting from around 200 yen, which is great! The cost performance is good, but they seem to want you to try a variety of dishes by serving smaller portions. They also have a children's dining area, so the hospitality is high and I like it. The manager was also very nice!

Leaving Iwataya Hotel and heading north on Sakaisuji... encountered a decent crowd... decided to give up on Shinsekai after all \(//∇//)\ Found a shop near Ebisucho Station! Jakoichi-san! According to Tabelog, it seems they opened in June last year. I casually entered... there were counter seats and a round table at the back, the shop is not very spacious but clean. The owner and two slightly older staff members greeted me. I ordered: ■ Highball ■ Specialty Chanpon Motsu-ni ■ Homemade Thick Fried Tofu Took a sip of the Highball \(//∇//)\ the Chanpon Motsu-ni was heated and served... lots of green onions! The flavor was quite light, I'm not sure which part it was, but I enjoyed it with the shichimi on the table (*ﾟ∀ﾟ*)xxxku has been into fried chicken and thick fried tofu recently! Homemade thick fried tofu... I can't wait \(//∇//)\ Shortly after, the homemade thick fried tofu arrived... visually... nicely fried! Before serving, the owner asked if I wanted soy sauce or ponzu, so I requested ponzu. I first cut it in half with chopsticks, then cut that in half! I thoroughly soaked it in ponzu and took a bite... crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, delicious thick fried tofu \(//∇//)\ sprinkled some shichimi from the table and finished it all! It's been a while since I had such tasty thick fried tofu \(//∇//)\ I heard they also have a 500 yen lunch, so I'd like to visit again. Thank you for the meal.

New World Strolling is a cafeteria-style izakaya that also offers lunch and bento menus. They have a wide variety of dishes, serve lunch, and are open until midnight without any idle time. The owner, who only took two days off last year, is quite eccentric (laughs). I ordered the potato salad, champon noodle, simmered offal, mixed hormone, and oyster fry. The potato salad that comes in the bento box had a small portion and the value for money was so-so. The champon noodle and simmered offal were delicious, with a good dashi flavor. The mixed hormone is a classic dish that goes well with alcohol. The oyster fry seemed to be frozen but was satisfying for its price. I had a great time conversing with the owner and was able to enjoy drinking alone. He has a great personality, and I plan to visit again to see him.

Today, I revisited "Sakaba Shokudo Jakoiichi" for another try. I ordered the pork ginger stir-fry set meal for 500 yen, one of the four 500 yen set meals available. I thought I had ordered the "yakiniku set meal" last time, but it turned out to be the same as before. Disappointing. However, the service of extra rice and the side dish stew were exceptional. I was very satisfied. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal. I would like to try a different menu next time. I will continue to strive on the path ahead, with no regrets.

The best movies are not similar to existing movies. I have learned that the best movies have unique and special qualities. I watched the movie "NOPE" directed by Jordan Peele. I felt uneasy about OJ and the others being fixated on filming flying objects. If they were trying to exterminate to protect an important ranch, the story should have been more understandable. The drama "Gordies Home" is a work that makes you think about various points along with the tragedy. Today, I went to the izakaya "Jakoi Ichi" that I had marked before. The lunch menu is surprisingly priced at 500 yen for 4 types. - Pork ginger stir-fry set meal = 500 yen. The side dishes were a bit small, but with a generous serving of rice, it was hot and satisfying. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal. I was interested in visiting Yamadera-san based on the reviews. The restaurant was beautiful and had a cozy atmosphere. I had three draft beers and three shochu highballs, which got me feeling pleasantly tipsy. The hormone (offal) and stewed tripe were delicious. The heart meat was seriously delicious. It was so good that I ordered it twice more.

This week, I will be featuring one-coin lunch deals for 7 days. All 7 restaurants are making their debut on this blog. First up is a new restaurant that opened on June 6th called "Sakaba Shokudo Jakoiichi" in Ebisucho, Osaka. Their lunch set is normally 650 yen, but on specified days, it's only 500 yen.
