Sushi restaurant Sushidokoro Sakita in Fukuoka Prefecture, Kyoto (Miyako) District, located near the Katsuyama Shinmachi intersection where National Route 201 and Prefectural Route 58 intersect. It is a conveyor belt sushi restaurant, but with skilled chefs making sushi right in front of you. The prices range from around 100 yen to 600 yen per plate. There are also large tables and sunken kotatsu-style seating. The "Tensushi Lunch" is 850 yen + tax, available from 11:00 to 15:00. It includes 8 pieces of nigiri sushi such as blowfish, squid, whelk, yellowtail, seared mackerel, shrimp, salmon, and egg. The rice is firm and on the heavier side, with a good amount of wasabi. The tempura includes shrimp, squid, sandfish, onion, pumpkin, and shishito pepper. The oil is fresh, and the batter is crispy. Served with tempura dipping sauce, grated daikon radish, and grated ginger. The udon comes with a choice of tempura shrimp, squid, and kisu (Japanese whiting), along with red miso soup and clam soup. The soup has a strong soy sauce flavor with a hint of kumquat peel. The udon noodles are on the thick side and filling. The pickled dish was actually "Nanbanzuke" (vinegared fish), with a crunchy texture. The powdered green tea is a common type, not too strong. It is recommended to make it with a moderate amount of powder to keep it warm for refills. This day, around 1:00 pm on a weekday, there were several elderly regular customers having conversations with the chefs. Overall, it was considered a luxurious lunch for a daily office worker, but the 500 yen seafood bowl available on weekdays from 11:00 to 15:00 seems like a sufficient option for a casual meal.
