I was able to visit the main branch of Kyo Sushi, known as the best conveyor belt sushi in Japan! I arrived at the opening time of 11 o'clock and had to wait in a long line for about 40 minutes before finally being seated! There are a lot of sushi chefs, so when you order, the sushi comes out quickly. Usually, the sushi is handed to you, but occasionally it is delivered on a bullet train (^^;; The prices are higher than your average conveyor belt sushi, but you can enjoy the freshness of the ingredients and unique sushi that you can't usually find! The sushi here is bigger, fattier, and full of the umami flavor of the seafood. The Amberjack belly is fatty and has a great chewy texture. The sea urchin is a bit pricey at 875 yen, but it has a mild bitterness and a nice sweetness. The shrimp seemed a bit watery. The seafood roll is my personal favorite! You can taste various fish flavors at once, which is pure happiness. The steamed egg custard has a gentle dashi flavor and a jiggly appearance that promises deliciousness. The udon has a Kyoto-style dashi flavor and a firm texture that is delicious. The marinated sea bream has a unique taste with the flavor of kelp coming through. The seared blackthroat seaperch is a rare find at conveyor belt sushi places. When eaten with salt, the thick blackthroat seaperch is delicious without any fishy taste!

I visited around 14:20 on a regular day. It seems that this local popular restaurant has long lines during lunchtime, but I was able to enter without waiting at this time. Last order was at 14:45. The sushi was delicious. There were a few dishes that were not as good, but overall I was very satisfied. The medium fatty tuna, red clam, and eel were my top 3 favorites. I decided to become a member of their app. It was a great meal!

On a Monday in August 2023, my daughter had a day off from her summer job. In response to her request, we went to a conveyor belt sushi restaurant, Kyoto Sushi Honjo, which also had a branch there. We arrived at 11:05 and luckily found parking for the last available spot. The restaurant was packed, with a long wait even though it was a weekday. It's understandable that when a restaurant expands too much, the quality can suffer. The sushi rice was too sweet and sloppy, and I didn't like the way they stacked the plates on one hand. It would have been better if they served one plate at a time, especially when there were only two plates. I recently visited another sushi restaurant, H Shiro, which also served sushi in a similar manner. Is this some kind of trend in the conveyor belt sushi industry? Is it supposed to be cool or delicious? Even if it's made of plastic, the tradition of using plates that resemble ceramics and making sounds is important. The chawanmushi (savory egg custard) tasted bitter and disappointing. I wish Kyoto Sushi would focus on their original location in Moji rather than expanding. It feels like they are tarnishing the memories. Thank you for the meal.

◉ Genre: Conveyor belt sushi ◉ Area: Miakai area, Yahatanishi-ku, Kitakyushu City ◉ Access: Less than 10 minutes by car from JR Honjo Station ◉ Parking: Available ◉ Credit card payment: Accepted ◉ Frequency of use: First visit ◉ Number of reviews: 1 On this day, I decided to visit "Kyozushi Honjo Store" on a whim. ◇ Exterior and Interior This conveyor belt sushi restaurant is located in Miakai, Yahatanishi-ku, Kitakyushu City. It is operated by the Kyozushi Group, which is quite well-known in Kitakyushu. The exterior is predominantly white and the interior is spacious. It looks like they took over a previous conveyor belt sushi restaurant! (laughs) ◇ Seating There are a total of 75 seats. ◇ Menu Structure The menu is divided into regular items and today's recommendations. Despite being a conveyor belt sushi restaurant, their udon noodles are also delicious. I ordered the following: - Live shrimp marinated in green chili soy sauce (260 yen) → Chose from today's recommendations. This was the most creative dish of the day! The shrimp was well-marinated and the kick from the green chili was strong, making it really tasty. It was also great as a side dish. (laughs) ◆ Strong Points A popular conveyor belt sushi restaurant in the city! ◆ Service Average. ◆ Summary It was my first time visiting, and as expected, there was a waiting time. It seems like all the popular places have a wait. However, the only downside was that they couldn't make a shochu soda. (laughs) Thank you for the meal.

I arrived at 6:00 pm and was able to be seated right away, even though it was crowded on a regular day. I usually go to Hirashiro, but I had some business at Honjo, so I came here after a long time. Everything was fresh and very delicious. The prices and taste were just as satisfying as Hirashiro. Thank you for the meal!

I like the Kyozushi Group, and when I am in Kitakyushu or Fukuoka, I often go there. When I come from Chikuho, the closest one is Honjo branch, so I end up coming here. I think eating at Kyozushi is much tastier than eating at weird sushi restaurants around here. The cost performance is also good.

All the popular revolving sushi restaurants here are always delicious and have great value for money. You can enjoy high-quality ingredients that you might not normally be able to afford at other places. The tuna and shirako were especially delicious. It was a very happy moment, and the waiting time was just a fun part of the experience.

I used to go there often, but after it became a super famous restaurant, I decided to have lunch there for the first time in a few years while passing by the full parking lot. It was a weekday, but there were about 10 groups waiting. The shop offers a system where you can eat limited-time menu items at a discounted price if you follow them on Instagram or become a member of their app. The Honjo store is located in a former revolving sushi restaurant, with counter and table seating surrounding the chef in the middle, and a kitchen in the back for cooking dishes. Orders are placed using a touch panel. I ordered several recommended dishes, including Sesame Mackerel (138 yen), which is a unique and delicious sushi with no frozen ingredients and a sauce made from Fukuoka's famous sesame mackerel, served as nigiri instead of in a bowl. Fluffy Conger Eel (275 yen) has a light sauce, a fluffy texture, and allows you to enjoy the original flavor of the conger eel. Fire Roll (138 yen) is only slightly more expensive than 100 yen conveyor belt sushi, but offers larger and more delicious toppings, a strong wasabi kick, and the flavor of seaweed. Other toppings were also delicious except for the battered ones. All the sushi has a strong wasabi flavor. If you don't like the strong wasabi kick, you can choose to have it without wasabi and add the wasabi from the small packets provided. The rice was served by a sushi robot, which I'm not sure if it has always been like that since I hadn't been there in years. The toppings are fresh, cut by the chef each time, and then hand-pressed, which is still a compromise considering the price. I was disappointed to find out that the "Shrimp, Avocado, and Cheese Tempura" that I used to order every time was no longer available. I hope they bring it back because it's a super recommended dish!

After eating fish the day before, I ended up going to Kyozushi on Sunday (lol). Since meat and fish are my main foods, it's okay to eat them every day. By the time lunchtime passed and it was around 2 pm, there were almost full parking lots with a wait of 10 groups. While waiting, I looked at the recommended menu for the day and made my plan. When I was seated, they asked if I was a member of their email club, and since I was, they switched the ordering terminal to the member version for me. They did the same for my friend's terminal since I was registered. Being a member, I was able to order the grilled eel at half price before it ran out, so I ordered it right away! Then, I casually ordered different dishes, picking from the items passing by on the conveyor belt and ordering specific ones that were not available on it. There were higher-priced dishes available that could be ordered as a single piece, so unintentionally, I ended up with all white plates that day (tax included at 138 yen each). Here are my thoughts on the things I ate for the first time or found particularly delicious that day: - Grilled Squid with Mayonnaise: I wondered why I hadn't eaten this before! I ordered the eel first and randomly picked this one from the items passing by. It was unexpectedly delicious, and I even thought about ordering another plate (lol). It seemed like a regular menu item rather than a daily special or limited edition, so I decided to wait until next time to eat it again. I love squid, and the combination of the grilled flavor and creamy mayonnaise was irresistible. - Yellowtail Belly: I ordered this as an additional piece when I still felt a bit hungry. It was so thick that it felt firm and meaty, and it was delicious. - Shrimp Tempura with Chili Sauce: This was also my first time trying it! If it hadn't been written on the separate sheet of today's recommendations, I might not have noticed it. Since it wasn't passing by on the conveyor belt for a while, I decided to order it. It was crispy and freshly fried, and the chili sauce was mild in spiciness. The shrimp tempura itself was so tasty that I didn't feel like I needed more spice. The soft and less vinegary rice paired well with the shrimp tempura, making it feel like a bite-sized shrimp tempura rice bowl rather than traditional sushi. - Black Tea Jelly: This was also my first time trying it, or rather, the first time seeing it! There were other desserts like mini sundaes made with ice cream sprayed with colored chocolate, cakes, coffee pudding, almond jelly, etc., on the conveyor belt. I've never seen so many desserts at the Konyamachi store where I go the most. Maybe this store is more family-friendly with more desserts. The black tea jelly tasted more like lemon tea jelly than black tea. It reminded me of Limone (Suntory's bottled lemon tea), and it was quite delicious. I already want to go back soon to eat the grilled squid with mayonnaise. The Konyamachi store is going to be closed for a while, so I might go to the Kanajimachi store or the station store. I have no intention of drinking, but when I casually looked at the drink menu, I was surprised to see Yona Yona Ale and Jazz Berry. I can understand Yona Yona, but Jazz Berry was quite a shock. Maybe there are unexpected differences between stores. This adds to the excitement of trying out different stores.

Crying children are also silenced, its name is Kyoto Sushi ( *థ౪థ). I have passed by the restaurant many times but never had the chance to visit, always bookmarking it. Today, I was in the mood for sushi, so I decided to finally go to Kyoto Sushi. Even though it was past 2 pm, there were still about ten people waiting in line. I briefly thought about going to the ramen shop nearby, but I really wanted sushi today. After about a 30-minute wait, I was called in and given a spacious booth even though I had requested a seat at the counter. I ordered some red miso soup with mushrooms and then started ordering sushi through the touch panel. The sushi was brought to me by the staff, handed to me by the sushi chef, or delivered by a mini Shinkansen. I indulged in about 10 plates of sushi, thinking I could eat unlimited, but around 15 plates, I suddenly felt full. I selected a few more plates of my favorite sushi and then called the staff to count my plates for the bill. It ended up being over 6000 yen, mainly because I had enjoyed some premium items like fatty tuna and sea urchin. Overall, all the sushi was delicious and I was very satisfied with the quality. As a resident of Kitakyushu, I may never go to another conveyor belt sushi restaurant again, as Kyoto Sushi was that good. The most memorable sushi for me was definitely the squid, it was outstanding! Thank you for the wonderful meal! ( *థ౪థ)

A popular sushi restaurant in Fukuoka that has been ranked in the top for several years in the revolving sushi department on a certain food review site. The Ogura store and Moji store are famous, but this time I visited the Honjo store. There are also Ogura store, Moji store, Ohatake store, Konokamachi store, FC Hakozaki store, FC Tanjimachi store, and a takeout specialty store (Higashishinmachi, Moji-ku, Kitakyushu City). There was a long line even before the opening. After a while, we managed to get a seat. Since one member who is not good with raw fish was with us, we started with "Chicken Karaage." However, it was quite delicious! The side dishes such as "Agedashi Tofu" were also excellent. Of course, the sushi was also very delicious. We had Sawara, Thai, seared Tachiuo, and raw shrimp. I would like to visit again if I have the chance. Thank you for the meal♪

The rumored delicious conveyor belt sushi. It was crowded because it's a popular place. I had high expectations... but the sea urchin was disappointing. The other dishes were okay. Maybe it was just bad timing... I will give it another try if I have the chance. Thank you for the meal.

◎Kyoto Sushi (Honjo)◎ A popular revolving sushi restaurant with multiple locations in Kitakyushu! If you're dining alone, they will seat you at the counter quickly. Order their recommendations while enjoying a Yona Yona Ale! Here are some delicious picks: 1) Seared swordfish 2) Seared belly 3) Fresh saury 4) Medium fatty tuna roll

- Drink: Hot green tea - Nigiri: - Abalone: Excellent. No smell, refreshing flavor, and soft texture. Shows high quality. - Turban shell: ? - Fatty tuna: ? - Red snapper: ? - Gizzard shad: Average - Belt fish (raw): Excellent - Belt fish (seared): Superior. The aroma comes out and it's delicious. - Amberjack: Strong texture. Straightforward flavor without any off-tastes. Shows freshness. - Greater amberjack: Exquisite. Very delicious. - Yellowtail: Average - Overall review: I visited a representative conveyor belt sushi chain in Kitakyushu this time. This is probably my tenth visit, but it's my first review. Kyushu, surrounded by the sea on all sides, is known for its local fish, and even in conveyor belt sushi, the high quality is well known. It truly reflects the pride of the fish kingdom. The sushi here is simple and straightforward, allowing you to taste the natural flavors of fresh ingredients directly. This is made possible by the advantage of having good fish in Kyushu. Kyoto Sushi has its main store in Moji, but the Hongo store here also provides the same high quality, so I think it's unnecessary for locals to go all the way to the main store. I would like to visit again. Thank you for the meal!

I really like kaiten sushi. Every type of sushi is delicious and cheap, and there is no other kaiten sushi like this one. Around 12:30 on weekdays, there is hardly any wait. But on weekends, it gets so crowded that you might have to wait in line before it opens. I recommend trying the conger eel and egg sushi, they are also delicious.

During work, if I pass by "Kyozushi Honjo Store" and it's around 11:00, I can't help but stop by. The general evaluation of the taste is that they have been ranked 1st in the revolving sushi division of Tabelog for 3 consecutive years nationwide. Of course, if you are willing to pay more, it's a different story, but considering the cost and convenience, it's like a paradise for sushi lovers. About half a year ago, the quality of their "Chutoro," which can be considered their "conscience," momentarily dropped, but it quickly returned to its original state. As expected. I have been there many times, so I already know what to order. I can't miss the 250 yen plates, especially the "Chutoro," "Hotate," and "Salmon." These are the reasons why I keep coming back to this place. So, this time, I ordered 2 plates of "Chutoro," 1 plate of "Hotate," 1 plate of "Salmon," and in addition, 1 plate each of "Engawa" and "Wasabi-dressed shellfish" from the 150 yen plates. This time, it was a light meal, so a total of 12 pieces from 6 plates, and the total bill was 1350 yen. Adding dishes like "Omisomisuke" or "Chawanmushi" would probably create a balanced meal, but I'm a lazy person who prefers to sit down quickly, order quickly, eat quickly, and leave quickly. I can finish everything, including payment, in about 20 minutes after entering the store and leave. The deliciousness, convenience, and cost performance of this place are satisfying and excellent.

I finally went to a conveyor belt sushi restaurant that I've been curious about for a long time. It's called "Kyozushi" and they use mainly local ingredients from Kitakyushu. The restaurant has a total of 5 locations plus a delivery service. I've been curious about this place for about 4 years, but never had the chance to visit until now. I went on a weekday around 1 pm and had to wait for about 15 minutes as there were 7 groups ahead of us. We were seated at the counter, but the touch panel was positioned awkwardly between us, making it hard to order. I ended up only ordering 6 plates because of this. I enjoyed the Engawa and Hamachi sushi, but couldn't explore the menu more due to the touch panel issue. Overall, the Chutoro was delicious. The restaurant was quite busy during lunchtime, so I recommend going a bit later to avoid the crowds.

This is the number one sushi restaurant in Kyushu that I have explored all over. Truly deserving of being ranked V3 nationwide for conveyor belt sushi restaurants! I have tried almost all the sushi here and each one is consistently delicious, making me impressed every time. They offer a wide variety of sushi that can be ordered one by one, allowing you to enjoy a lot of different types of sushi. The Honjo branch is the closest location from Fukuoka with a parking lot available, so it is a very popular store where you can expect to wait for at least 30 minutes or more from opening to closing on holidays. This time, I only posted photos of chawanmushi and red miso soup!

This was my first visit this year. Probably the last sushi of the Heisei era (laughs). This place is usually crowded, but miraculously I was able to be seated right away today. After a bitter experience at another sushi restaurant in the past (laughs), today I ate sushi like seeking revenge. Well, it's stable. Here. They also manage the ingredients thoroughly. The sharpness of the sushi rice is like being made by a sushi robot, but that doesn't matter. It's just delicious. Finally, I was able to eat my fill of sushi (laughs).
