★4.2 [FILE 4217] August 29, 2023 (Tuesday) 16:34 Visited a pancake specialty store that opened four years ago in 2019 on the first floor of the Kannami Plaza Building along Kannami Park Street. [Current Edition] As of May 2023, there is one new store, leaving a total of 24 stores. The interior of the store has a calm atmosphere with a beige color scheme. Upon entering, there are large table seats on the right and aisle-like table seats on the left, totaling 48 seats which is quite spacious. When I visited at 4:34 PM, there were two groups of 2 people waiting in line. I was seated at 4:40 PM, 6 minutes later. The customer base is 90% female and 10% male. The service is efficiently handled by 3 female staff members. The menu includes: - Miracle Pancake Strawberry 1540 yen (tax included) - Miracle Pancake Royal Sweet Milk Tea 1595 yen (tax included) - Miracle Pancake Plain 1320 yen (tax included) - Miracle Pancake Fresh Fruits 1650 yen (tax included) - Miracle Pancake Choco Banana 1540 yen (tax included) - Classic Pancake 1045 yen (tax included) - Miracle Pancake 72% Cacao Dark Chocolate 1595 yen (tax included) - Miracle Pancake Roasted Pistachio and Caramel Nuts 1595 yen (tax included) - Miracle Pancake Fleur de Sel Caramel Butter 1430 yen (tax included) - Miracle Pancake 3 Types of Lemon and Rare Cheese 1430 yen (tax included) - Miracle Pancake Uji Matcha and Cookie & Cream 1430 yen (tax included). I ordered the Miracle Pancake Fresh Fruits for 1650 yen. The pancake was served 18 minutes after ordering. The pancake was the Miracle Pancake Fresh Fruits, presented on a light blue round plate with 3 fluffy souffle pancakes topped with original maple butter cream, strawberries, blueberries, and bananas, garnished with powdered sugar. The fluffy and melty texture of the souffle pancakes combined with the sweet and sourness of the fresh fruits and the smoothness of the maple butter cream was very delicious. The interior of the store has a calm atmosphere with a beige color scheme. Various cashless payment methods are available for payment. The Miracle Pancake Fresh Fruits for 1650 yen includes 3 souffle pancakes topped with original maple butter cream, strawberries, blueberries, and bananas, offering a delicious combination of fluffy and melty souffle pancakes with the sweet and sourness of fresh fruits and the smoothness of maple butter cream.

I went on a regular day. I arrived about 20 minutes after the opening, but it was already full and there were about 4 people waiting in line. After waiting in line for about 20 minutes, I was seated and placed my order, and the pancakes I ordered arrived in about 20 minutes. The pancakes were fluffy and delicious, making the wait worth it. I would like to go again if I have the chance.

It's really delicious! The plain pancakes are tasty, but the limited edition summer peach pancakes are exceptional. Despite souffle pancakes typically being heavy, the ones here have a strong souffle texture that even women can easily finish. Eating the peach pancakes leaves you feeling satisfactorily full. The drinks are generous for a cafe, making it great value for money and satisfaction. The interior is surprisingly spacious and has a nice atmosphere. Highly recommended for a date.

Visited in the early afternoon. They offer a variety of pancakes, from savory to sweet. I ordered the limited-time peach pancakes. It took 20 minutes for them to be ready, but it was worth the wait. The pancakes were fluffy and almost melted in my mouth. They served three pancakes with a whole peach on top, which felt luxurious. When I cut into the peach, cream and peach sauce came out. The cream was refreshing and not too sweet. There was also whipped cream on the side, which was rich and delicious. Overall, it was a delightful meal. ⭐︎

Whole White Peach Pancake ¥1870 The dough is the familiar fluffy soufflé texture that you eat with a fork as a knife won't go through. Instead of the usual three fluffy pancakes, this time they were a unique fluffy and airy texture. I discovered that Flipper's fluffy and airy texture is also delicious. On this scorching hot day, after taking photos, I quickly dashed to the side where the chilled granite was waiting for me. It was cool and refreshing, with pieces of peach inside, making it delicious. On the side, there was a whole peach with a gentle sweetness. Inside, instead of the usual custard or jelly, this year it had a peach sauce drizzled over a rare cheesecake cream, making it light and refreshing. The rare cheesecake cream was also delicious. I was unsure whether to pour the oolong tea syrup over the white peach or the pancake, so I tried both, but it didn't suit my taste. Thank you for the meal. Address: 1F Jinnan Plaza Building, 1-15-5 Jinnan, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo 15 minutes walk from Shibuya Station July 14th to August 20th, ¥1870 Opening hours: 11:00 to 19:00 (please confirm) Closed: Not specified

This time at Flippers, I had the Summer Fruit Plate for ¥1870. It's a dream plate for dessert lovers with pancakes, parfaits, and tarts featuring seasonal fruits like melon, peaches, and mangoes. Flippers is known for its miraculous pancakes, and this time I was excited to see what kind of miracle was in store. The pancake had a fluffy souffle texture with juicy melon inside, and the melon cream cheese was particularly delicious. I personally would have preferred a stronger melon flavor. The side lemon jasmine syrup added a wonderful touch of flavor. The Mango Parfait was best eaten first as the sweet milk ice cream quickly melted. It was deliciously sweet. The Peach Tart featuring jasmine white peaches was different from what I expected, but the tart crust was crispy and tasty. Although there were no miracles on Flippers' plate this time, the perfectly round melon seemed like a miracle in itself. Overall, it was delicious. Thank you for the meal!

I finally tried the pancakes at FLIPPER'S that I've always wanted to go to! I ordered the limited-time "Amao ga Ippai" which was topped with plenty of Amaou strawberries. The Amaou strawberries were really sweet, and it felt like they carefully selected ripe strawberries to put on top, making it delicious! The pistachio pancakes that my partner ordered were also delicious!

I arrived at 11 o'clock but it was already full. I waited for about 20 minutes. After ordering, I waited for another 20 minutes at my table. I guess it takes time to cook the pancakes. I ordered the limited-time Tochiotome hotcakes. They were fluffy and delicious. I wished I could have alternated between sweet and savory flavors. The kids' plate had both sweet pancakes and savory items, so I thought it would be nice to have that option for adults too.

On rainy days, even if you arrive about 10 minutes after opening, there is already a line. Groups of 2 people are seated more quickly, but groups of 3 or more may have to wait longer as there are limited seats. When you order pancakes, it takes some time to cook, so you'll have to wait at least 20 minutes. The taste is really delicious!

I went on Valentine's Day so there was a long line. Luckily, I was able to make a reservation. The taste is good, nothing special. The cost performance is so-so, it's like any other expensive pancake shop. They have a wide variety of pancakes, including savory options, so it's nice to be able to enjoy both sweet and savory dishes when going with two people!

Located a 7-minute walk from JR Shibuya Station Hachiko Exit. At 4:30 pm on a weekday, the restaurant had only 1-2 empty seats. By 5:30 pm, about 60% of the seats were filled. I wanted to try the "Miracle Pancake Matcha Strawberry" but it was sold out, so the staff suggested adding strawberries to a similar menu item. I ordered the Uji matcha and cookie cream pancakes with strawberries on top. The pancakes were fluffy and chewy, melting in my mouth instantly. The Uji matcha cream had a rich, slightly bitter taste that I was looking for. The caramelized peanuts added a delicious crunch and aroma. This was my first time trying pancakes at a restaurant, and I was delighted by how fluffy and delicious they were at Flippers.

We visited the restaurant on a weekend around 4 pm with two people. Despite the rain, there was a line of 20 people outside, which surprised us with its popularity. We were prepared to wait, but the turnover was surprisingly fast, and we were able to get inside in about 30 minutes. However, once seated, the wait was quite long. Pancakes take time to make everywhere, and we were aware of this in advance, but they are usually brought out faster at other places. However, it took 35 minutes from ordering here. We finally met our pancakes after 1 hour and 5 minutes of waiting, feeling both hungry and excited! We ordered and shared two items: "Roasted Pistachio and Caramel Nuts" for 1595 yen and "Fleur de Sel Caramel Butter" for 1430 yen, with a set coffee for an additional 300 yen. The pancake itself was delicious, with a fluffy texture and a slightly more substantial quality compared to our favorite pancakes. The "Roasted Pistachio and Caramel Nuts" had flavorful pistachio ice cream, but the pistachio cream was lacking in flavor. The standout was the caramel nuts topping. The "Fleur de Sel Caramel Butter" was my favorite, with a creamy and rich caramel sauce that was beautifully caramelized. The generous amount of caramel nuts added a crunchy and flavorful element. The coffee was surprisingly delicious and came in a generous portion. In conclusion, despite the long wait on weekends, the turnover is faster than expected. The pancakes are similar to our favorite ones, fluffy and delicious.

I finally visited the super famous pancake shop that I had been curious about for a long time ✨✨ As expected from a popular shop, there was a line outside when I went for lunch, and I waited for about 15 minutes. After waiting for another 15 minutes inside, the food was brought to me. I ordered the "Salted Caramel Pancakes" with chocolate banana topping. The pancakes were fluffy and soft like souffle, and the combination of caramel, chocolate, and banana was really sweet and delicious (*´˘`*)♥ For drinks, all pancakes come with a drink, but I paid an extra 200 yen for the special fruit iced tea. It was a great meal ✨.*・゚

I made a reservation and went to the restaurant. The majority of customers were foreign tourists, about 80%, with the remaining 20% being young girls in groups, etc. It took about 20 minutes for the pancakes to be ready. So, well, it took about an hour because it was crowded. You really have to go with that kind of determination to eat delicious pancakes! The Miracle Pancake Royal Sweet Milk Tea (¥1,450) had a good balance of cream and ice cream. The crunchy cookies added a nice texture variation. The cheese-flavored sorbet-like ice cream didn't melt easily, which was a good point. After eating three pancakes, it can get a bit boring, so if you find it difficult to keep eating sweet things, I recommend trying something with strawberries or a menu with more variety.

On Saturday, I went to Shibuya with a friend to watch "The Blue Grotto." We had lunch and finally got to try Chicago pizza. We went shopping at Loft and had some sweets. My friend who works in Jiyugaoka often passes by this store, so we decided to check out the menu. The line was quite long, but luckily it wasn't too cold outside. There were many foreigners in line as well. The menu had expanded since my last visit, and there were special fair menus from six different countries. I ordered the "KOREA" #02 Miracle Pancake Strawberry & Tiramisu for 1,430 yen, along with a hot coffee for 330 yen. The pancake was fluffy and delicious, but the coffee was a bit too strong for my taste. Overall, the staff was friendly and the experience was enjoyable. I would definitely visit again.

I made a reservation and entered the restaurant, but I had to wait at the entrance and was not guided to my table promptly. There were cleanliness issues as well. When I ordered food, I was informed that it would take 20-30 minutes to be ready, so I agreed and placed my order. However, the pancakes arrived 55-60 minutes later. It took more than double the estimated time, and there was no communication or apology for the delay until I asked about it. There was a poster about short staffing, but I still think the service was unacceptable. There was an apology during the payment, which was appreciated, but I hope for improvements in the future. The pancakes were very delicious!

I went during opening hours, but there was quite a line, with many people who seemed to be tourists due to the location. I waited for about 30 minutes before being able to enter. The taste was as expected, but the pancakes were cute and perfect for Instagram. I had always wanted to try them, so I'm glad I got the chance to eat them.

☆Recommended Points☆①A luxurious autumn limited menu where you can enjoy the flavors of fall - sweet potatoes, chestnuts, and pumpkins all at once.②Miraculous fluffy pancakes【Menu】"Miraculous Pancakes - Sweet Potato, Chestnut, Pumpkin (1,650 yen)"This popular dish from last year has made a comeback with an upgrade. The sweet potato is a cold brulee pancake made with chilled Anno sweet potatoes, resembling ice cream, lightly bruleed, and served with a perfect match of vanilla ice cream. The maple syrup drizzled on top also complements the vanilla ice cream well. The chestnut features a Mont Blanc made with Fuji hojicha tea and Kumamoto-grown Japanese chestnuts. The hojicha cream made with the new brand "Rincha" has a wonderful aroma and elegant flavor. Plus, hidden yuzu peel adds a refreshing touch. Inside, you'll find a Japanese chestnut filling and chestnut ice cream, allowing you to fully savor the sweetness of chestnuts. The pumpkin dish includes Hokkaido's Kuril pumpkin and white chocolate Mont Blanc. Kuril pumpkins are known for their high sugar content, even sweeter than melons, and this dish offers a Mont Blanc made with pumpkin paste mixed with white chocolate. Inside, there's caramel apple and light milk ice cream, which also pairs well. The pancakes have a fluffy, melt-in-your-mouth texture and are incredibly delicious, but the portion size is quite large, so sharing with another person might be a good idea.【Summary】Located along Park Street in Shibuya, the pancake specialty store "Flipper's" has branches in Shimokitazawa and Jiyugaoka as well. Known for their miraculous pancakes with a fluffy texture, they offer a variety of toppings. Seasonal menu items, like the sweet potato, chestnut, pumpkin pancakes, tend to be popular, and this particular dish has made a comeback due to its popularity last year. As it is a limited-time autumn menu, fans of sweet potatoes, chestnuts, and pumpkins should hurry to try it out.

First of all, there seemed to be a line forming outside the store, but there was no indication of it, so when it was finally my turn to enter, I was told, "The line is over there, please come this way only if you've been called." I had to line up again at the end of the line... Even though I had made eye contact with the staff several times before and they didn't say anything...? I know it's my fault for lining up on my own, but I thought it was a bit much... Finally, after re-lining up, I was seated and ordered the limited edition pancakes. It took a while, but I also ordered a half-sized clam chowder. The soup had a lot of ingredients and was delicious. This amount is just right. Finally, the pancakes that took a while to come out. Were they made a while ago...? They were cold. The cream on top was cold and the pancakes were hot, and I wanted to enjoy the combination. The pancakes were also cold. Pre-made...?? Honestly, for something they are promoting as their main dish, it was a bit disappointing, and the staff were also indifferent. I probably won't be coming back.

There is always a line of people waiting in front of this shop, but today it was empty due to heavy rain, so I decided to go in and see what kind of place it was. It was a pancake shop, mostly filled with women. There didn't seem to be a lunch menu, but I was told that for an additional 250 yen, a drink would be included. The menu looked very appetizing with various options like pancakes, sandwiches, and Gapaoraisu (Thai basil chicken rice). I decided to try the recommended "Flippers Brunch Plate for 1,760 yen including tax" and also ordered a "Cafe au lait HOT" for an additional 250 yen. In total, it was a budget of 2,000 yen for this place. The food arrived in less than 15 minutes with pancakes, two sunny-side-up eggs, grilled mini tomatoes, long asparagus with bacon, and a giant sausage. The taste was as expected from the visual presentation, but the sausage was particularly delicious. The pancakes were fluffy, bouncy, soft, and quite tasty. I was a bit skeptical about having pancakes for lunch, but they were surprisingly filling along with the substantial sausage. The Cafe au lait was also delicious, perfectly complementing the pancakes. Although spending over 2,000 yen for lunch may seem a bit expensive, it was worth it for the visual appeal, cozy ambiance of the beautiful interior, and location. Thank you for the meal.

I went to try the limited-time peach pancakes. The restaurant was full when I arrived, but they let me wait inside on a chair instead of under the scorching sun outside. After about 20 minutes, I was seated! I was torn between the peach plate and the Miracle Pancakes with ripe peaches, but I decided to go with the latter since that was my original goal. I opted for the peach juice set as well. The pancakes were fluffy and the peaches were sweet and delicious. The service from the staff was also fantastic!
