I have visited this restaurant many times. I came here expecting to experience the same taste as the main branch, but I was disappointed. The beef tongue is not as crispy as it is at the main branch. It was slightly cold and the tongue felt a bit tough. It also seemed like it lacked the rich flavor. If you think this is delicious, you will be amazed by the taste at the main branch. If you are looking for good beef tongue in Kansai, you should consider going to another restaurant. The cooking process should be improved. I also found the casual conversation of the staff a bit distracting.

The meat was tender and cut in half, so it felt like there was more than in the photo. I was full. The taste of the meat was satisfying. I tried cassis beer for the first time and it was delicious too. However, I ordered miso flavor and salt flavor, but there was no explanation, so I couldn't really tell the difference, maybe because I have an unrefined palate. I tried my partner's sauce, which tasted like BBQ sauce. I recommend sticking with salt and miso flavors. The rice portion is generous, so it's risky for women to order a large portion. They also served warm tea at just the right time, so the service was very good. However, there was a mix-up with the reservation, and since we were three people in a small space, it was a bit cramped. I will come back for lunch next time.

This was my first visit to Gyutan at Grand Front. It was in the evening, so I ordered individual items - thick-cut tongue and steamed tongue, which paired perfectly with beer. After the thick-cut tongue, I also tried the regular tongue for comparison. The regular tongue can be seasoned with salt, soy sauce, or miso, but I chose the classic salt seasoning. Next time, I plan to try the set meal.

The beef tongue restaurant at Grand Front has prices that are a bit high, around 2,000 yen for two pieces with rice and soup. If you add a little more, you can enjoy an all-you-can-eat meal. I decided to try the stew, sausages, and white rice. The sausages were okay, but the stew was delicious. The beef tongue also had a good taste.

In Sendai, you can find beef tongue set meals at various places, but they are still relatively rare in Osaka. However, they are starting to become more common, with even this famous place making an appearance. In my opinion, beef tongue at a yakiniku restaurant and a beef tongue set meal are different. When I first tried the thickly sliced, salted beef tongue with oxtail soup, barley rice, and grated yam in Sendai, I was impressed. By the way, the grated yam is an additional charge here... The beef tongue, oxtail soup, and grated yam make the barley rice disappear quickly. The meat in the oxtail soup is tender and delicious. I ended up getting a large serving (the first serving is free here) because it was so good, even though the prices have gone up compared to the past. It was the best meal I've had. Thank you for the meal.

I visited "Kisuke" at Grand Front Osaka South Building for lunch after a long time. I ordered the lunch staple "Grilled Beef Tongue Set with 3 pieces (1,800 yen)" with sauce. I also added grated yam on top of barley rice. The beef tongue from Kisuke was thick, well-seasoned, and delicious as always. The tail soup was refreshing and a perfect palate cleanser. It had been a while since I last had it, but it was still delicious. Thank you for the meal!

I visited the restaurant at 19:20 on the weekend. It is a beef tongue cuisine restaurant located on the 7th floor of the South Building of Grand Front Osaka, about a 3-minute walk from JR Osaka Station. The main store was founded in Sendai in January 1975. At the time of posting, they have a total of 15 stores nationwide. The Osaka Ume Kita store, opened in April 2013, is a small store with a total of 37 seats. The kitchen is operated by 3 staff members, and the dining area by 3 staff members, showing efficient management typical of a thriving store. The dishes I ordered this time are as follows. Lunch at Grand Front Osaka. I went to the 7th floor of the South Building thinking that even at 3:30 pm, a tough time, I could find something at Grand Front. But it seemed like off-peak hours with only Kisuke serving beef tongue open. I secretly saw many lunch refugees coming in. The regular beef tongue was expensive, so I opted for the beef tongue cut-off set meal. It was 1300 yen at Grand Front, and I thought it was a decent budget for lunch, but it turned out to be before tax. The meat was thinly sliced, with a good thickness, definitely cut-off pieces. It came with pickled Chinese cabbage, a spicy miso-like sauce, and oxtail soup. The barley rice was refillable. The beef tongue was delicious, a bit tough but probably because of its thickness, chewy and tasty. It felt a bit lacking. The oxtail soup had tender beef that melted in your mouth, slightly salty soup, so delicious that I wanted a refill. I loved it. The barley rice was perfectly cooked, with a great texture. It went well with both the beef tongue and the soup. At first glance, I could tell that the standard side dish from Miyagi is this pickled Chinese cabbage and spicy miso. But as expected from Tohoku, it was quite salty overall. The spicy miso was a great companion to rice, but it was quite strong in flavor. While it's faithful to the local cuisine, I personally don't like dishes that are too salty. I saw a variety of dishes that looked delicious at night. Beef tongue cut-off set meal 1430 yen (tax included).

I used to go to Umeda and enter the restaurant around 21:40, just before the last order time (22:00). There was a cart blocking the entrance with garbage, which gave me a bad feeling. There were still about 3 groups inside the restaurant. I used to come to this restaurant because the food was delicious and the service was very pleasant. However, it seemed like the staff had changed or it was just an off day, as there was no welcoming greeting or friendly atmosphere from the staff since entering. Maybe they thought it was bothersome because it was close to closing time? From entering to ordering, eating, and leaving, it took less than 30 minutes. I felt so bad that I just quickly ate my food rather than enjoying it. Even when paying and leaving, the service was lacking. It's a shame that the past good experiences were like a lie. The self-evaluation I had before was close to a high level of 4, but now I am extremely disappointed. It's sad to see staff who can't sell with a smile, and a manager who doesn't seem to know that. Never again!!

I had beef tongue for the first time in Umeda. Of course, I also had a lunch beer! It was thinly sliced, but it was okay for lunch. There was not much grated yam, quite different from Kanto!

I had never been to "Aji no Gyutan Kisuke" before, but I had heard of it. As a big fan of beef tongue, I decided to visit on a holiday in October. The location was the 7th floor of the South Building at JR Osaka Station's Grand Front Osaka. I arrived at 11:30 am, weaving through the crowds to find the entrance with the sign "㐂助". There was a large menu board outside highlighting the "Special Thick Grilled Set Meal (Salt)" for 2,314 yen. Despite the somewhat high price, I was determined to try it. The interior was already bustling, with all table seats taken, but luckily there was space at the counter. The casual atmosphere made for a relaxed dining experience. I placed my order and watched as the beef tongue was grilled in the glass-walled kitchen for about 5 minutes. The meal was served with the main dish, soup, and barley rice. The beef tongue was thickly sliced and incredibly tender, with a juicy and flavorful taste. The soup had a simple yet delicious salty flavor, and the barley rice was firm with a distinct aroma. I thoroughly enjoyed the meal, and despite the price, the taste exceeded my expectations. I left the restaurant feeling even more fond of beef tongue than before.

I went shopping in Umeda and decided to eat beef tongue on the way. I had the thick-cut beef tongue, which was incredibly delicious. The regular tongue was also amazing! The soup, pickles, barley rice, grated yam, and the octopus with wasabi from Minami Sanriku were all delicious! I indulged too much on the first day! Thank you for the feast!

I have been going to Kizuke-san's restaurant since it opened. The beef tongue here is really delicious. The seasoning of the beef tongue, the texture of the barley rice, and the richness of the tail soup. I am truly satisfied with everything. I usually have the thick-cut beef tongue set meal, but I tried the cut-off set meal because it was cheaper. The taste is not much different, so I plan to order this occasionally in the future.

I arrived before it got crowded and entered the restaurant. They offer set meals where you can choose the number of items, and the prices are reasonable. The beef tongue was thick and juicy. There were three different types of meat flavors to choose from. The rice comes in a large portion and refills are free, which is great for men!

Beef tongue tofu for 275 yen. Grilled beef tongue with salt for 825 yen. Grilled beef tongue with miso for 825 yen. Boiled beef tongue for 1210 yen. I'm not a big fan of grilled beef tongue, but I love boiled beef tongue and tongue stew. I actually only wanted the boiled beef tongue, but since there wasn't anything else I wanted to eat, I also ordered something grilled. The beef tongue tofu has a slight unique taste and is on the salty side. The grilled beef tongue came with shredded turnips, which was refreshing and nice.

It's been quite a while. About half a year ago, I went to the newly opened Ikiyu at Ekimarche Osaka and was disappointed. I came here a few times after it opened, but about a year later, Tokuyama opened at Lucua Ile and I only went there. The way they write "◯ pieces △ cut" is confusing because they cut one piece in half. Thickly sliced boiled Aomori taro with plenty of grated yam and beef tongue stew set (barley rice, soup, salad, pickles, thick grilled egg) Special thick grilled 2 pieces 4 cuts.
