We had a business dinner at the newly opened authentic yakiniku restaurant Harami-chan in Ue Honmachi. The restaurant has a high-class feel with a single door entrance that raises expectations. Inside, the moody lighting and luxurious atmosphere create a calm dining environment. Apart from the 4-seat counter, the rest of the seating is semi-private, allowing for a peaceful meal without making eye contact with other customers. The side menu offers a variety of kimchi, fresh vegetables, and other appetizers. Among the main meat dishes, the premium Harami was exceptionally delicious. The meat was beautifully marbled and clearly fresh, with a rich flavor that we thoroughly enjoyed. The 10cm thick-cut salted tongue was surprisingly tender and easy to eat, perfect for sharing among three people. The meticulous preparation and attention to detail were evident in the quality of the dish. The portion sizes were generous compared to other yakiniku restaurants in Ue Honmachi and Tsuruhashi, offering good value for money. For dessert, we ordered the coldest of the three cold noodles, the creamy cold noodles. The noodles were refreshingly cold and the broth was delicious, providing a satisfying end to the meal. They also offer lunch specials with high-quality meat at a good price, so I look forward to visiting again incognito next time.

We saw a restaurant called Haramichan around Tsuruhashi and decided to visit with my partner. We both wanted some good lean meat, so we ordered the Black Wagyu Harami set meal (1980 yen). You can choose the amount of rice you want. First, we were served with cabbage, kimchi, and soup as appetizers, followed by the Harami. The fresh and shiny Harami was quite tender, and the tangy and sweet sauce complemented it well. We also ordered the additional Tecchan (780 yen), which was grilled slowly until it was about to melt... It had a juicy texture and a fragrant aroma. We also ordered the Cold Noodles (890 yen), which is said to be the best in Japan but takes about 15 minutes to prepare, so it's recommended to order it in advance. The balance of sweetness, tanginess, and spiciness in the noodles was perfect, with plenty of toppings. The atmosphere of the restaurant was calm and all the dishes were delicious, so I would recommend this restaurant. The spacious tables could accommodate 4 to 6 people comfortably. The overall vibe of the restaurant made me feel proud to be a customer. I would definitely like to visit again.

In the midst of hot days, craving for meat, I wandered into a restaurant during lunchtime where I couldn't see beyond the door. I timidly asked the friendly staff for recommendations, and they suggested their signature Harami set meal. They provided beef fat to grease the grill before cooking, which prevented sticking. The meal included 9 tender slices of delicious meat, each cooked perfectly. Behind the counter, I could see a rare glimpse of the preparation process, which was quite interesting. I wondered if they really needed to cut it that way, or if they just throw it away. Watching the impressive knife skills was a delight. Overall, I left the restaurant feeling satisfied with my lunch.

There were only two of us, but since we arrived late and there were no other customers, they seated us at a spacious table, which was nice and relaxing. We ordered the Harami set meal and the Salted Tongue set meal. Both were delicious! The Harami was great, and the Salted Tongue was also very tasty. The roasted green tea ice cream was also delicious. Next time, I would like to try the recommended Crunchy Salted Tongue set meal and the Black Wagyu Harami set meal.

"Yakiniku Haramichan" in Tennoji-ku, Osaka City is located about a 5-minute walk from Tsuruhashi Station on the JR Loop Line, Kintetsu Osaka Line and Nara Line, and Osaka Metro Sen-Nichimae Line towards Honmachi. I visited around noon on a weekday. The entrance exuded a stylish atmosphere, and upon opening the door, I found a high-class yakiniku restaurant with private rooms lined up. I asked, "Is it okay for one person?" and the staff replied with a smile, "Of course." The smile was a nice touch and made me, dining alone, very happy. I was guided to a private room for six people, which made me feel a bit guilty. I ordered the "Japanese A4 Wagyu Marbled Roast Beef Set" (2200 yen) with rice (extra 100 yen for large portion), kimchi, cabbage, soup, and meat. The soup was served with a warning that it was hot, showing their attention to detail. The kimchi had a spicy yet flavorful taste. The cabbage had a refreshing perilla ponzu flavor. The rice was neatly presented, showing their meticulousness. Now, onto the main meat dish. The quality was suitable for a 2200 yen lunch, with good marbling and a sweet and sour yakiniku sauce that made it very delicious. The presence of beef fat on the meat made it easier to cook. While it may seem a bit pricey, considering the stylish private rooms and the quality of service, I believe it is a very good restaurant in the Tsuruhashi yakiniku lunch category. The fact that it is non-smoking during lunchtime is also a plus. I would love to visit again. We walked a little from the station and went to this restaurant with my friends. The course was 4,500 yen with all-you-can-drink option for 6,000 yen. It was a great deal and they served really good meat. The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice and the staff were lively and friendly.

Located between Teradacho Station and Osaka Uehommachi Station, this restaurant has a solid door at the entrance that hides the interior. Inside, the lighting is just right and each table is separated. We were led to a semi-private seat, which was nice. As for the food, we ordered the salted tongue and harami set for two people, and the cost performance is quite good! For just an additional 100 yen, I was able to get extra rice, soup, and kimchi. The meat was delicious and satisfying for the price of around 1400 yen. Upon leaving, we were thanked for coming during lunchtime. I would definitely go back if I have the chance!

Second visit! This time, I brought my junior colleague to celebrate my job change. As expected, the tongue and Harami are incredibly delicious! And this time, we ordered something called "30-second Kalbi." You only cook one side and eat it, but it surprisingly goes well with grated radish... The melting white rice in your mouth makes you want to keep eating. Personally, I also liked that the drink glasses were served ice-cold. My junior colleague was also very satisfied! Eating and drinking at the counter here is the best... Watching the meat being sliced in front of you makes you crave it so much! It's really delicious, but the prices are on the higher side. The cost was almost the same as last time and this time.

I went to have lunch. When I arrived at Meigetsukan at 11:15, I was told there was a 40-minute wait, so I almost became a lunch refugee. Then I saw the sign for authentic yakiniku restaurant Harami-chan next door and decided to visit with a friend. We ordered the Harami set meal and the Hira set meal, both priced at 2,000 yen. The meat was delicious, but I felt the satisfaction level was low because the side dishes were only "kimchi, cabbage, and bean sprout soup."

I have been trying out different lunches by visiting this restaurant multiple times. While the harami (skirt steak) is delicious as usual, my top recommendation is actually the hiré set meal. I didn't know what hiré was, but after looking it up, I found out that it is a lean cut of meat. Despite being lean, it is surprisingly tender and is often referred to as the "queen of meats." It is a premium cut, so it is more expensive than other set meals, but when you try it, it just melts in your mouth. It's hard to believe it's a lean cut. It's delicious when eaten with rice. The set meal also comes with soup and kimchi like other yakiniku (Japanese BBQ) restaurants.

I used it for the first time! I feel like I had delicious yakiniku after a long time!! The famous tongue, harami, and cold noodles... all were incredibly delicious. There are three types of cold noodles, so next time I go, I will try a different one. The cold noodles that are said to be the most delicious in Japan... it was indeed the most delicious I have ever eaten. The lemon sour, lemon highball, and Harami-chan highball were all very easy to drink and sweet highballs! I love the atmosphere and taste of this yakiniku restaurant, so I will definitely visit again! Thank you for the meal!!

I visited this restaurant for lunch on Saturday, which was my third time. The quality of the meat here is amazing. My wife and I ordered the 5cm beef tongue and raw intestine from the regular menu, as well as the best lunch set and black wagyu harami set. Honestly, I have been to many yakiniku restaurants in recent years, but this one was a big hit. The beef tongue is incredibly juicy and flavorful, with just the right amount of fat. The raw intestine was fresh, well-prepared, and paired perfectly with the sweet and savory sauce. The lunch set was a great deal with ample meat for just 2000 yen. The best part was the tenderness and rich flavor of the beef. The black wagyu harami was also impressive in terms of volume and taste. The atmosphere of the restaurant was calm and spacious, with well-separated tables. It is located between Tsuruhashi and Uehommachi, in a competitive area that lives up to its reputation. I prefer lean meat at my age, and this restaurant definitely delivers. I will definitely be coming back, and I hope they can maintain this quality of meat at such a reasonable price. I visited for lunch before work. I had the Harami set meal for 1408 yen. It includes 120g of freshly cut Harami, cabbage, kimchi, soup, and rice. I thought the price was reasonable for the amount of food. The Harami was incredibly delicious. I heard they also offer thick cuts, so I would like to come back for dinner next time. I visited this place because it was introduced on TV the other day. It seems that it just opened in May 2022. Although it is advertised as a private room yakiniku restaurant, there are also counter seats available. There are about 6 tables for 4-6 people, each separated by partitions. I tried the "Salted Tongue Set Meal for 1,380 yen including tax" and "Harami Set Meal for 1,280 yen including tax" from the lunch menu. The set meals come with cabbage salad and kimchi. They also ask you about the amount of rice you want (large, medium, small), and the medium size was quite decent. The meat was cut into easy-to-eat sizes (smaller than other restaurants) which was nice. It was easy to eat. The portion size also seemed quite generous for the price (probably around 100g). The white rice was decently delicious. The new store is clean and there is no smell with the smokeless roaster. The staff are also very friendly and attentive.

I recently visited the newly opened yakiniku restaurant, Honkaku Yakiniku Harami-chan, in Kamihonmachi for lunch. Although I had passed by a few times before, there was no menu displayed outside and no information online, so I had not visited yet. Today, I saw a lunch menu sign outside and decided to give it a try. I went with a friend, and we were seated in a spacious private room. The interior had a chic feel to it, and the room was quite roomy, which created a nice atmosphere. We ordered the fresh hormone set meal and the black wagyu harami set meal. The rice came in a large portion for free, so we opted for one large serving. The meal came with cabbage, kimchi, and soup. The cabbage had a dressing with shiso flavor, the kimchi was light, and the soup had a slightly strong sesame oil taste. The hormone and harami were served generously. We grilled them and enjoyed the meal. It was quite delicious, without any unpleasant odor, and had a decent taste. I wish the meat was cut a bit larger, but considering it was a lunch menu, it was understandable. Looking at the evening menu, there were items like thick-cut tongue that caught my interest. The prices ranged from moderate to reasonable. The menu had some eye-catching items and trendy phrases like "Japan's best," "world's best," and "universe's best." I am conducting a food tour of yakiniku restaurants in Tsuruhashi, and as I was walking from my hotel in Uehommachi towards Tsuruhashi, I came across a new yakiniku restaurant that I had never seen before. It was "Honkaku Yakiniku Harami-chan," which opened on May 14, 2022. There was a menu board outside the restaurant, but there were no signs saying whether it was open or not, and the inside of the restaurant was not visible from the entrance, making it hard to tell if it was open. After mustering up the courage to open the door and call out, I finally confirmed that it was indeed open. I guess many people might have hesitated to enter. I visited during lunchtime and ordered the harami set and grilled liver from the grand menu. The restaurant had a very clean interior design, different from the traditional yakiniku restaurants. The smoke was well absorbed by the smokeless roaster, making it suitable for any occasion. Since I was dining alone, I was seated at the counter, but it seemed that table seating was the main option, making it convenient for groups. The harami was served in thick cuts, taking some time to cook. When dipped generously in sauce and eaten, it was a complete rice thief. The rice just kept disappearing. The harami was good, but it didn't have that outstanding flavor. The harami lacked a bit of punch compared to the harami, as the seasoning was already on the meat and the dipping sauce. The grilled liver was okay, with a distinct offal taste. I've been a bit critical, but overall, it was a very delicious yakiniku restaurant. Despite facing tough competition in the area, the unique atmosphere of the restaurant sets it apart from others, giving you a reason to choose this place. Three dishes are not enough to fully understand the variety of meats, so I would like to visit again and try more dishes when I have the chance.
