I casually went to IKEA Tsuruhama, finished shopping, and then casually went to the bistro. The warm, fluffy bread and crispy sausage hot dog for 100 yen are delicious. I like to put plenty of mustard and ketchup without dripping. The limited edition black soft serve is 150 yen, considered high-end here. The white soft serve is 50 yen, three times as enjoyable.

I tried fried chicken for the first time and was surprised that it didn't taste cheap, it was delicious. The hot coffee at the drink bar was also pretty good. Most of all, I look forward to the cheap hot dogs when I visit IKEA.

On weekdays, it is relatively empty at lunchtime, but the sofa seats were full. It's great that the drink bar is free for the first hour. I ordered a kids' lunch and salmon with curry sauce. My son loved the chicken nuggets, chicken rice, and meatballs. He also enjoyed the jelly. The salmon was delicious. The mashed potatoes were good too. I'm not a fan of cilantro though.

After opening, IKEA members can enjoy free drinks at the drink bar for the first hour, so it's recommended to use it before shopping. The food options are quite light, with a no-additive vegetable curry priced at 350 yen. Honestly, it seems like a base curry with no specific ingredients, just a few broccoli pieces added. The main menu items have increased in price since April, and while there are not many Nordic menu options available, the prices are no longer as budget-friendly as they used to be. The yen has not depreciated against the dollar as much as it did last autumn, but when compared to major currencies like the euro, the yen is weaker now than it was back then.

In June 2023, after finishing shopping at IKEA, we took a break here. The plant-based kiwi soft serve I chose and the milk soft serve my husband chose were both 50 yen each. Whether as a dessert after lunch at the restaurant or as a break ice cream after shopping, the price was very pleasing. When we stopped by IKEA Kobe store before, I think they only had regular milk, but the new plant-based kiwi soft serve was refreshing and I really enjoyed it. My husband, who was disappointed that the katsu in the curry wasn't meat at the restaurant, bought a hot dog as he had declared. He ate it satisfactorily, savoring the flavor of the wiener without adding ketchup or mustard.

I went to IKEA Tsuruhama for a drive. It was quite crowded due to the rainy holiday. It's like a school cafeteria where you pick up what you like. It's a bit fun. There are plenty of seats available.୧⃛(๑⃙⃘◡̈︎๑⃙⃘)୨⃛ ←so cute

I went to enjoy a 100 yen hot dog. I went in the afternoon, and it was very crowded. There were no chairs, but the flow of people was good. The hot dog was small, but the sausage was crispy and satisfying. However, one hot dog is not enough for men. The 50 yen soft serve ice cream is also delicious.

There was a significant difference in the service provided by the staff at the IKEA restaurant, which was disappointing. The lasagna had a thick and satisfying texture that I couldn't replicate at home. Surprisingly, the meatballs paired well with the blueberry sauce, which was a new discovery for me. The soda flavors at the Swedish drink bar may not be to everyone's taste, but there is a variety to choose from and I enjoyed trying them out.

This food court on the first floor offers affordable options for quick and easy meals, while the second floor has more substantial rice dishes. The hot dogs here allow you to customize with pickles, onion rings, ketchup, and mustard. The hot dogs are small and soft, similar to those sold in supermarkets. The hash potatoes are chewy and enjoyable, although someone I was with preferred the taste of McDonald's hash browns. The fried chicken reminded me of KFC, but I don't eat KFC often so I can't compare. Personally, I would consider getting the hash potatoes again.

Soft serve ice cream for 50 yen, vegetable hot dog for 80 yen, regular hot dog for 100 yen, and all-you-can-drink for 120 yen. The restaurant offers a great deal on their menu items. Additionally, if you finish your meal within 30 minutes during busy times on weekends and holidays, you will receive a ticket for a free soft serve ice cream. The famous cheap hot dog is surprisingly good quality for only 100 yen.

I ordered soft serve ice cream while shopping at IKEA! I always get it when I go to IKEA. It's only 50 yen each, which is very cheap! The limited-time flavor was strawberry, but this time I got the classic vanilla flavor. It's convenient to eat and the cone is sweet and delicious. The ice cream cone at IKEA is my favorite. The second floor at Tsuruhama has an IKEA restaurant and they were also having a Strawberry Fair! If you love strawberries, be sure to visit during this time of year. Thank you for the meal!

My son and husband went cycling. I joined them by car. We took a break at IKEA and had some cute soft serve ice cream for only 50 yen, which was amazing. They also had a variety of breads, such as cinnamon rolls for 100 yen, chocolate croissants for 250 yen, and red bean paste croissants for 200 yen, which were all very affordable. After that, we crossed the long and steep Namiwaya-Ohashi bridge, which was quite an adventure.

I always end up stopping by here. The size of this soft serve ice cream is just perfect, isn't it? I really love it! - Plant-based pear soft serve ¥50 - Soft serve ice cream ¥50 - Hot dog (with toppings) ¥150 You can add fried onions and pickles as toppings. *Without toppings (ketchup and mustard only) is ¥100.

This veggie dog is only 90 yen! So cheap... too cheap... (but it doesn't affect the taste... not like I put too much ketchup on it) It doesn't have the crispy texture of a hot dog, as expected. It's a perfect example of the trendy alternative food☆ Is this the new era of food... will it become the norm... (either way, it depends on whether this will catch on in the future) By the way, soft serve ice cream ranges from 50 yen, with a variety of flavors and limited-time options available, giving a sense of satisfaction (some flavors even cost 100 yen, but on the flip side, your sense of value gets skewed at the 100 yen mark).

When you come to IKEA, you just have to eat, right? I think it's best to eat three things at once. I don't know why, but this simplicity is delicious. In addition, I also had the 50 yen mini soft serve, and it was delicious as well. Thank you always!!!

Veggie Dog! This IKEA cheap hot dog is surprisingly veggie and light, but with a junky kick from the mustard. It's a great balance! I don't dislike it! If they opened a store in my area at this price, it would be great! Thank you for the meal!

Shopping done, on the way back the temptation was Bistro. Feeling thirsty, even more temptation. Took a break while waiting for the bus. This time, I had a hot dog with toppings for 130 yen and a drink from the bar for 100 yen. Topped the hot dog with fried onions and pickles, which was really good. Be careful not to put too many pickles, as it can become too sour. Always pay attention to the toppings. Also, be aware of the temptation of the fish dog and veggie cheese dog.

At IKEA Tsuruhama, there is a place where you can enjoy light meals in a food court-like setting with a food ticket system. It's similar to Costco in a way. There were many families with children when I visited. On that day, I ordered:
- Hot Dog Special Set with toppings: 410 yen
- Hash Potato: 70 yen
- Additional Hot Dog Toppings: 130 yen
- Soft Serve Ice Cream: 50 yen
The hot dog toppings included pickles, fried onions, ketchup, and mustard, which you can add as much as you want. I love hot dogs, so I ended up getting seconds. The Special Set came with fried chicken and a drink bar. The drink bar had a variety of beverages, which was fun. The fried chicken was bone-in and juicy, but a bit messy to eat. The soft serve ice cream was decent for its price of 50 yen. If you ever visit IKEA Tsuruhama, be sure to check it out!

I just had the fish hot dog again because it's so delicious! The taste is amazing considering how affordable it is! Of course, I also got the drink bar. It's just so good! No matter how many times I eat it, it's always delicious! I want to eat it again tomorrow!!! I really recommend the fish hot dog! I wonder if they sell tartar sauce too. The opening hours of IKEA differ between weekends and weekdays, so please check before you go.

I am always tempted to go because of the big sign on the first floor of IKEA! The best thing is the cost performance! It's surprising to be able to eat at this price in this day and age! It's worth going just for the hot dogs! I tried the fish hot dog for the first time this time and I was amazed! The tartar sauce was so delicious that it's hard to describe the taste!! This is a definite repeat purchase! As I mentioned before, I feel like it's a better deal to drink from the large paper cups on the first floor than the drink bar on the second floor. If you have a chance to go to IKEA, I definitely recommend it, so please go and try it out!
