The 2-hour all-you-can-drink was only 3,500 yen per person! It was cheap and delicious. This month's regular drinking party was a bit challenging for me due to my slight summer fatigue, causing a delay in reservations. We couldn't get into Wasabi or KUWA, but finally ended up at Yakitori Sanchome. They accommodated all 7 of us, so thank you very much! #YakitoriSanchome

We ordered a portion for 3 people of the assorted sukiyaki, but it was too much so 2 portions would have been enough! The food was delicious! The alcohol was also tasty and cheap, so we often visit this place!

Cheap and delicious! Visited this place with my colleague. Surprisingly, there were no customers at 6:30 pm on Thursday. We ordered the motsunabe (soy sauce) first, and were amazed by the amount for only 700 yen. The photo shows two servings. Even after adding tofu and champon, we were full for only 2000 yen. The disappointing part was the yakitori. Despite the restaurant's name, the quality and cooking of the yakitori did not meet expectations. However, the chicken sashimi was delicious, so the quality is not bad. With the addition of drinking shochu, the total bill exceeded 4000 yen. The world is tough after all.

I came to Yakitori Sanchome Orio to supplement the part that was a little lacking after eating only dumplings at Gyoza Brothers. The parking lot is located a bit off the road on the opposite side, and you need to ask the staff to remove the rope to access it. The restaurant is like something out of Spirited Away, with counter seats and additional seating upstairs. The yakitori starts at 50 yen per skewer. We started with cheese spring rolls, which were a bit confusing, but tasty. We also ordered fried squid legs salad, which was delicious despite not being what we expected. Highly recommended items include grilled ginkgo nuts, beef belly, and pork belly skewers. The staff is energetic and the atmosphere is lively. We also ordered sasami skewers with mentaiko, plum shiso, and cheese, but couldn't finish them and had to take them home. The staff, especially the young lady who might be the daughter, is cute and attentive. We were even escorted to our car after leaving. Overall, it was a great experience.

The information provided by my wife as a cheap and delicious restaurant was spot on. After moving to Kitakyushu, we finally visited for the first time. The miso motsunabe was only 700 yen and the portion was huge. However, the amount of motsu itself was a bit lacking, so we ordered an additional 4.5 points of motsu for 500 yen. The selection of shochu and sake was extensive, but I opted for shochu on the rocks to go with the motsunabe. The recommended oyster vinegar was fresh and delicious. The grilled dishes were also tasty and surprisingly cheap at 50 yen each. The total bill for a beer, 4 shochu drinks, motsunabe, oyster vinegar, and grilled dishes came to around 3,000 yen, which is very affordable. The landlady and the young staff members were polite and the atmosphere was pleasant. Although there are many cheap drinking spots in Orio, this restaurant will definitely be a regular spot for us. Having a drink after work and heading home is now something to look forward to. Moving to Kitakyushu was a great decision.

I went to Yakitori Sancho in Orio, Fukuoka. The place has a student town vibe with various shops along the street. The parking lot is located behind the karaoke box across from the store, and there are plenty of spaces available (no drinking and driving!). Young people were chatting outside the store after finishing their drinks. Inside the store, you have to take off your shoes before entering, and there is also a second floor. It reminded me of the "oil house" from Spirited Away (lol). It was a bit past 9 PM when I arrived, and I was able to get a seat right away. There was a tank with swimming squid. I went upstairs to the tatami seating area and ordered an Extra Cold beer (small size for 400 yen). The glass wasn't chilled, which was a bit disappointing, but the beer was still delicious. The menu was extensive, with a variety of meat and sashimi dishes to choose from. I was surprised by how cheap some items were, like chicken, gizzards, intestines, and shishito peppers for only 50 yen each! We ordered two servings of motsunabe, which you can choose the broth for. We went with a soy sauce base and added garlic. We also ordered various yakitori dishes. The complimentary appetizer was gizzard with ponzu sauce. The chicken gizzards and intestines could have been crispier. The chicken liver was served on a plate instead of skewered. The heart and belly with miso were delicious. The motsunabe was a generous portion, and it had konjac noodles, which was a surprise. The broth was tasty, and we finished it quickly. You can also order a vegetable platter if you prefer. After having a highball, I tried the Kurokiri shochu with a keep bottle for only 1000 yen, but ice refills cost 300 yen each, which was a bit questionable. The keep bottle can be stored for up to 3 months. I need to go back again soon. They are planning to open a new store next to the current one, which I'm looking forward to. It's a shame that the photos came out blurry. Next to the store ===========

Last year, a restaurant in the third block of Oozora, Yahatanishi-ku, Kitakyushu City underwent renovation. It is a restaurant serving yakitori, motsu-yaki, motsu-nabe, and mantetsu dishes. The new restaurant has a lot of customers and the menu has expanded while remaining affordable. I couldn't help but order various dishes. Yakitori starts at 50 yen per skewer, and teppanyaki dishes start at 380 yen. Motsu-nabe starts at 600 yen per serving. I also tried the sashimi of horse mackerel, which was fresh and delicious. The fried bones from the sashimi were crispy and tasty, all for a reasonable price of 750 yen per fish. This time, I tried the "Mantetsu Nabe" for the first time. The name comes from "Sanchome Manzaibashi Teppan" and the owner, originally from Osaka, took the name from Manzaibashi in Osaka. It is a hotplate dish where meat and vegetables are cooked in a spicy soup. The photo shows a platter for 850 yen. This is considered a luxury menu at this restaurant. It looked delicious even before cooking with collagen on top. The spiciness is balanced by the sweetness of vegetables like onions, resulting in a dish full of flavor. It might be a bit spicy for those who are not used to it. Adding champon noodles at the end was a satisfying way to finish the meal. Today, I had beer, cocktails, and kept a bottle of shochu for 1000 yen, all for less than 3000 yen. It's still affordable! Reservations can be made for 2500 yen per person. For an additional 500 yen, you can enjoy shochu. The fact that they are open until 5 a.m. is also great. I'm full! I will definitely come back.

At the intersection near Gakuen Street, there is a restaurant called "Motsunabe Sanchome." When I arrived, there were several customers and it was bustling. I ordered the motsunabe (miso flavor) and it was brought to me quickly. I heard that the grilled rice balls here are delicious, but I ended up being too full after ordering various other dishes along with the motsunabe. I will definitely try them next time I visit!

The restaurant "Yakitori Sanchome" is a place where not only university students from the neighborhood, but also teachers, office workers, and even women can feel comfortable dropping by. I've been coming here for about 5 or 6 years, even though I don't live nearby. The atmosphere, the delicious food, the reasonable prices, and the friendly staff all contribute to making this place a fun and energizing spot. The fact that it stays open until early morning adds to the sense of security. The staff, especially the female servers, are attentive and charming. The teamwork between the kitchen and the floor staff is impressive. The owner and staff seem ageless and full of energy. The new menu addition of "Yosenabe" caught my eye, even though it's still hot outside. But I trust this place to always deliver tasty dishes. The Yosenabe had a good mix of ingredients, with the crab adding a nice touch to the light soy sauce-based soup. I finished the meal with udon noodles, which paired well with the remaining soup. Despite the heat, this menu option was surprisingly satisfying. I highly recommend it.

When I was a student, I used to visit this restaurant at least 4 times a week! It was budget-friendly for students and the food was amazing!!! My recommendation is the "Yam Potato Teppanyaki." I would sometimes eat two in one day, and even tried to recreate it at home, but the taste of this place is unforgettable even now. The yakisoba we enjoyed with friends was also delicious!!! I remember having motsunabe at Motsunabe Sanchome, and their motsunabe was also delicious!!! We would wait for the ingredients to cook in the broth and I personally recommend the soy sauce flavor! Perhaps they combined the motsunabe and yakitori when they renovated the place? I would love to go back again! The mama-san there was so kind and took good care of us. I wonder how she's doing now? It's been a while since I last visited, but I plan to go back when I return to Kyushu!
