During my sightseeing in Osaka, I visited Universal Studios Japan and tried the Frozen Butterbeer in the Harry Potter area. It was a hot day, so I opted for the frozen version. I wasn't too concerned about the taste, but when I tried it, it was indeed sweet, yet surprisingly delicious. The frozen version made it easier to drink without feeling overwhelmed by the sweetness. However, I found it quite challenging to finish it all by myself.

Since they didn't have a Ravenclaw tie, we only bought the Slytherin one. The robes were warm and cozy, which was nice. But since we were only walking around with one umbrella, my companion's left sleeve got soaking wet, and it got so cold before evening that I bought a Ravenclaw sweater and put it on immediately. My companion wanted to buy a wand, and he quickly found a nice one and bought it, but I didn't really have a need for a wand, so I said I didn't want one. However, at Ollivanders, I was selected for the event where a wand chooses you (probably because I was wearing the robe), and I ended up buying a wand made of vine wood. It was nerve-wracking and embarrassing, and I didn't really want to be chosen! I actually wanted my companion to be chosen... Anyway, it was good to see my homebody companion having so much fun. But now he's talking about wanting to come back for Halloween, so it looks like we'll be coming back in about six months.

During spring break, Universal Studios Japan was extremely crowded. Not only the attractions, but also the food carts had long lines. But since I came all this way, I want to enjoy myself. The Harry Potter area is a must, right? So I lined up for the Butterbeer. I thought about getting the souvenir cup too, but I didn't bring a big enough bag and I'm here for the memories, so I decided to just drink it here. Cheers with the logo cup. The sweet soda? Was it like Dr. Pepper? A non-alcoholic sweet soda. Different from cola, very sweet carbonation. Come to think of it, I feel like I had this Butterbeer a long time ago when I came to Universal Studios Japan with my family. I thought I wouldn't get it again, but I ended up buying it once more. Making memories, priceless. I'll probably end up buying it again next time I come.

As for the taste... My daughter enjoyed it, but I found it overly sweet with a strong cinnamon and spicy flavor. It was a bit too much for me, but it was all part of the experience. The kids were having trouble using the magic wand properly. The regular adults who were serious about their magic and the children dressed as Harry Potter were skilled at using the magic wand. Perhaps amateurs who just got their wand today would do better if they were a little tipsy? In that case, you can try the non-alcoholic Butterbeer for 650 yen at the Butterbeer Cart. It's a very sweet beer-like drink, and the magical effect is immediate, as it quickly grows a white beard. The Harry Potter area during the day is nice, but the atmosphere in the dark is truly magical.

The highlight of the Butterbeer is that it leaves a foam mustache when you drink it. Taking a photo with that is a race against time, as the foam disappears quickly. Also, your hands will get really sticky, so be careful. I think the taste was like a strong apple juice. It's not delicious, but it's fun. It was a lot of fun.
