ソニー・クロケット
I happened to pass by a shop that caught my interest, like the thousands of stars shining in the night sky, it was one of those shops that had intrigued me somewhere in my heart. (This year's Tanabata was rainy, wasn't it?) But once I visited, the inspiration for the title came to me immediately! Transparency, femininity, undoubtedly, Julia Fordham's porcelain matches perfectly. At the bottom line, there is a URL for the relevant song on Youtube, so open a new tab and listen to this song while pondering, even with my clumsy expressions, it might help you easily imagine the image of the shop. It's a lovely shop with a small and tasteful feminine touch, and just like the delicate stars in the night sky, it was one of those shops that had intrigued me somewhere in my heart. The owner, or rather, the lady, the chef, or whatever term fits best, had a very nice demeanor - soft, polite, and professional. She had a deep knowledge of wines, not pushy or intrusive, but with a refined elegance, like a piece of fine porcelain. Her presence exuded a gentle strength within her softness. As it was my first visit, I used the reviews of two people who had visited before as a reference when I asked the owner to choose the wine and consult on the food. The wines she served were not famous Château wines or those with high Parker points or awards, but rather wines from local producers where you could almost see the face of the winemaker through the owner's explanation. However, being an old tipsy man with early signs of senile dementia, my memory is like the flowing river in Hojoki, constantly changing. I might have had 8? 9 glasses of wine, but the next morning, everything felt gentle and clear, without any thorns. The meat pâté, which I had read was quite large in a review, went down smoothly, and I regretted not ordering a half dozen of the chicken wings like at Yamachan in Nagoya. The spring rolls with cilantro, which I usually avoid, were a challenge for the wine pairing, and the result was a successful international marriage of flavors. The only regret was not being able to try something sweet. The total bill came to around 12,000 to 13,000 yen, and I was satisfied. Next time, I would like to stop by for sushi or Japanese cuisine on my way back, as French cuisine can be heavy and Korean barbecue leaves lingering smells. (It's a bit too sad that my review score is 3.05 before this review, but it will surely be a fitting score soon.)
