The pizza here is baked in a clay oven inside the restaurant. The pizza was delicious, but the Napoletana pasta was amazing. I didn't take any photos, but the mentaiko pasta was also delicious. Both the pizza and pasta have a delicious tomato base flavor. The atmosphere of the restaurant is also nice.

Forgot to upload my Fukuoka trip in early October 2021. It was autumn, but still very hot. To quench my thirst, I ordered a Singapore Sling during a break. It was different from the original, but had a tropical taste and was delicious. I had a long cocktail at Raffles Hotel in Singapore.

I suggested they order their own pasta, but my wife said, "No, we can't eat that much, just three pieces is enough!" I insisted on not sharing even if it's just three pieces. The waitress looked puzzled. It's not about being stingy, it's a matter of wanting to enjoy a full portion by myself. Despite the awkward situation, the pasta was unexpectedly delicious! Last week, I had a creamy pasta with shrimp and thick-cut bacon, which was amazing. The shrimp was juicy, the bacon salty, and the cream sauce rich. The bread on the side was a nice touch too. This week, I tried the scallop and spicy cod roe cream pasta, which was also delicious! The spicy cod roe cream sauce was exceptional, and the scallops were great too. It's a joy to enjoy these dishes while looking out at the sea, although I can't drink beer due to the current restrictions. I hope the restrictions are lifted soon.

It has been over 30 years since I last visited Marizon, back in my university days. When Fukuoka Tower was first built, the road in front of it was known as a pickup street, with cars lining up on weekends waiting for a chance to pick someone up (lol). This time, I was drawn to an Italian restaurant located just before crossing over to Marizon. I decided to sit on the terrace just as the monthly live band performance was starting, and ordered pasta and pizza with some bubbly. The pasta was spicy peperoncino which paired well with the bubbles. The pizza was crispy from being baked in a kiln. The cool weather, seaside location, bubbles, and live band made for a fantastic weekend.

Fukuoka is known for its great food, but lacks tourist attractions. One recommended spot is the beach park in Momochi-hama district. It has a nice beach with clean water and sand. You can take a boat to explore other areas and even play beach volleyball. It's not far from the city, with plenty of dining options and a pleasant atmosphere. The restaurant here also has a good atmosphere, suitable for children and a peaceful enjoyment. Good ambiance makes the food taste better, right?

There are many drink options, but the food menu is limited and a bit pricey. It seems like the dishes are more for enjoying alcohol than filling your stomach! There is no children's menu. Self-service water is available, but the water was not very cold without ice, which was disappointing. Also, the indoor humidity was high and the air conditioning wasn't very effective, so the children were slightly sweaty while eating. I wished the air conditioning was better for heatstroke prevention. The food overall was delicious. I thought the pizza could have had more flavor. The tomato pasta that the children ate was delicious!

Fukuoka Tower stands at Momochi Beach, which is an artificial beach. During my time working in Fukuoka, it only took me about 10 minutes by bicycle from my home in Nishijin 7-chome, so I used to visit there often. I would gaze at the sea, play catch, watch fireworks... And one place I would always stop by was mamma-mia. It's an Italian restaurant by the beach. Enjoying delicious pasta, pizza, and other snacks while looking at the sea is the best! You can order a Ferrari in a glass, and even bottles are surprisingly cheap.

You can choose between terrace or table seating, but we opted for indoor seating due to the strong wind that day. We ordered a Margherita pizza, a Bismarck pizza, homemade pickles with vegetables from Itoshima, a medium-sized Kirin Ichiban beer, and a Moretti beer. The location is amazing! Enjoying a beer while chatting with friends by the seaside as the sun sets in the background. It's a perfect adult getaway. Just be careful on your way back as it can get quite dark after the sun sets.笑

I didn't take any photos, but it was a very cozy and delicious restaurant (^-^)/ The pasta, pizza, and risotto were all delicious, and personally, I really liked the baguette (^.^) We shared a few dishes among a few people, and we were very satisfied with the meal!

I think Mama Mia's food is quite delicious. It gets pretty busy with customers in the summer. This time, the inside of the restaurant was okay, but the terrace was quite crowded and still very popular!

Before watching a game at PayPay Dome, I visited the restaurant at 4:00 pm feeling a little hungry. I had made a reservation online, but they couldn't serve food until 5:00 pm, so I ended up enjoying the view and atmosphere on the terrace while having sparkling wine, white wine, and red wine with 4 people in about 2 hours. We ordered a salad, prosciutto appetizer, pasta, and pizza for our meal, and the pizza was delicious. Next time, we will visit during the meal serving time!

There is also a terrace seat with a great view. It feels like having a meal in Santa Monica, LA. On this day, I ordered a "half & half meat pizza and cheese anchovy pizza". The taste was very delicious. However, it was a bit disappointing that the waiting time was a bit long due to the crowdedness. Also, since it was October, the terrace seat was a bit chilly... If the temperature is good, having beer and pizza while enjoying the wonderful sea view... I think it would be perfect!
